Chapter 5 HOME ALONE WITH MY ALPHA STEP-DADDY: (END)
The silence in my mother’s apartment was suffocating. She stood near the large window, arms folded tightly across her chest, staring at me like I was someone she no longer recognized. The anger radiating from her was almost tangible.
“You actually came here,” she said, her voice cold and sharp. “After what I saw today… you still have the nerve to show your face.”
I swallowed hard but forced myself to stand tall. “I’m twenty-two years old, Mom. I’m not a little girl anymore. I needed to talk to you face to face.”
She laughed bitterly, the sound cutting through the room. “Twenty-two? That’s your excuse? You let your stepfather fuck you on his desk like a whore and now you want to lecture me about being an adult?”
The words hurt, but I refused to let them break me.
“Yes,” I said quietly but firmly. “I let him. I wanted him. I seduced him, Mom. I wore the tiny clothes. I called him Daddy. I begged him to touch me. Because I’ve wanted him since the day we moved into that house. This wasn’t some accident or moment of weakness. I chose Kyros. And he chose me.”
My mother’s eyes glistened with angry tears. “You chose him over your own mother? Over everything I’ve built? That arranged marriage gave us stability. It gave him the Alpha title and it gave my business the connections it needed. And you threw all of that away for what? Sex?”
“It’s more than sex,” I whispered. “He sees me. He makes me feel wanted… truly wanted. Not just useful. When I’m with him, I feel alive. I feel safe. I feel like I finally belong somewhere.”
She turned away from me, shaking her head. “You’re going to regret this, Freya. The pack elders already know. They called me the moment I left his office. Kyros could lose everything — his position, his respect, his power. And when that happens, don’t come crying to me.”
I stepped closer, my voice softening. “I know it won’t be easy. But I’d rather struggle with him than live comfortably in a lie with you. I’m sorry I hurt you. I really am. But I’m not sorry for loving him.”
For a long moment, she said nothing. The heavy silence stretched between us until it felt like it might snap.
“Get out,” she finally said, her voice breaking. “And don’t come back until you’ve come to your senses.”
I nodded slowly, tears burning in my eyes as I turned and walked toward the door. Just before I left, I looked back one last time.
“I love you, Mom. Even if you can’t understand this right now.”
She didn’t reply.

The drive back to the house felt longer than usual. When I finally stepped inside, Kyros was waiting in the living room, exactly where I had left him. The moment our eyes met, he crossed the room in long strides and pulled me into his strong arms.
“You went to see her,” he said, not really asking. His hand stroked my back soothingly.
“I did.” My voice was muffled against his chest. “It didn’t go well. She’s hurt. Angry. And the elders already know.”
Kyros held me tighter. “I don’t care what the elders think. Not tonight.” He pulled back slightly and cupped my face, his smoky green eyes searching mine. “Are you okay, baby?”
I nodded, even as a few tears slipped down my cheeks. “I’m scared… but I’m sure about us. I told her I’m twenty-two and I made my choice. I chose you, Daddy.”
Something shifted in his expression — a mix of pride, love, and raw possession. He leaned down and kissed me slowly, deeply, tasting the salt of my tears. The kiss gradually grew hotter, more desperate, until we were pulling at each other’s clothes right there in the living room.
He lifted me effortlessly and carried me upstairs to our bedroom. That night, Kyros made love to me like it was the first and last time all at once. He was gentle but intense, kissing every inch of my body, whispering promises between each deep thrust.
“You’re mine, Freya,” he groaned as he moved inside me, slow and powerful. “No matter what happens tomorrow. No matter what the pack says. You’re my woman. My mate.”
I clung to him, legs wrapped tightly around his waist, moaning his name as pleasure built between us. When we both finally came, it was together — intense, emotional, and beautiful.
Afterward, we lay tangled in the sheets, my head resting on his chest while he stroked my hair.
“Whatever comes next,” I whispered, “we’ll face it together.”
Kyros kissed the top of my head and held me closer.
“Together,” he promised, his voice deep and certain. “Always.”
Outside the window, the full moon watched over us — silent witness to our forbidden love. The road ahead would be difficult. The pack would talk. My mother might never forgive me. But in Kyros’s arms, wrapped in his warmth and scent, I had never felt more at peace with my choice.
This was only the beginning of our story.
