Chapter 2 I'll Call You Little Bun

"All right. You can stay here for the time being."

Hearing that, the little boy immediately cheered up, his eyes shining brightly.

"Rumble..." A loud noise suddenly rang in the quiet room.

The boy blushed, covering his stomach with his hands awkwardly.

"Are you hungry?"

The boy turned his head proudly. "No!"

Twana raised her eyebrows. "Oh? Really? Then I won't cook for you?"

Pursing his lips, the boy was still reluctant to give in. "Whatever! I don't want to eat anything you cook at all!"

Twana nodded seriously and said, "Well, then I'll only cook enough for myself."

After that, she turned to go to the kitchen.

As soon as she turned around, she felt the hem of her clothes being pulled on.

She looked back and saw that the little boy had his head bowed in embarrassment. He said in a low voice, "Please... prepare some food for me as well..."

Twana stroked his head with a smile and walked over to the kitchen.

Looking at Twana from behind, the boy raised his hand and placed it on his head where she had just touched.

His little heart was racing fast for no reason.

"This sister... feels like Mommy..." he thought.

He had once seen the mother of his deskmate, Sherry, touching her head in the

same way...

Could she be his mommy?

When he turned his head, he accidentally saw a photo frame on the cabinet, in which was a photo of Twana and a young, handsome man. The two of them had intimate smiles on their faces as if they were a couple.

A trace of disappointment flashed across the little boy's eyes.

So she already had a boyfriend?

Sure enough, it wasn't that easy to find his mommy...

...

In the CEO office of Levis Enterprises...

"Bang! Bang! Bang..." There was a rush of knocking on the door.

"Come in."

When the door was pushed open, a young man came in and said anxiously, "Sir, Alex ran away from home again! The bodyguards have gone to look for him!"

The man in front of him, with his gaze still fixed on the document, was unmoved, and he only uttered a word, "Oh."

The young man who came to report was rendered speechless.

His boss's son, Alex, always ran away from home, and everyone had gotten used to it.

Even so, he still thought that his boss was too indifferent to his son!

Just as he was about to leave, the man's deep voice came from behind him.

"Yunis."

Yunis Jacob turned around and looked at the handsome man in front of him, who was perfect beyond description.

He thought that Mr. Levis was finally going to ask about his son.

But what the man said next immediately contradicted his assumption.

"Do I have anything else on my schedule today?"

Yunis froze on the spot.

He suddenly understood why Alex ran away from home...

If it were him, he would leave as well!

The man in front of him was the president of Levis Enterprises and the heir of the wealthiest family in Slington.

Since he took over Levis Enterprises, this young billionaire had worked countless business miracles.

He was the most distinguished man on the top of the pyramid—Zekariah Levis.

"You have an appointment with Mr. Chilton in the evening, and Mr. Jordan will join you as well."

"Got it."

The aroma of food came from the kitchen.

The little boy swallowed hard, watching Twana coming out with the food.

"Come and eat."

The room was too small to hold a normal-sized table, so the dinner table was shaped liked a bar counter, and the chairs were a little taller than normal ones.

Thinking that the little boy was too short to sit on the seat by himself, Twana put down her cutlery and was about to help him.

"There's no need. I'll do it myself." The boy refused her again.

After that, he tried to climb onto the chair by himself, but he failed in the end.

Suddenly, he found himself in midair. After picking him up, Twana placed the boy on the chair.

The child's little face was slightly red, but he refused to admit his failure. "I can sit on it by myself!"

"Yes, yes, yes. I'm being presumptuous."

Twana responded while sitting down in the opposite seat.

Surprised, the boy had no idea what to say.

He picked up the fork and knife and looked at the food in front of him, but didn't take any of it.

"What's wrong? Are you afraid that I poisoned the food?"

"No, it's not like that!"

It was just that... he had never eaten such plain food before.

He thought, "Is this what average families eat... for dinner?"

He put some salad into his mouth after hesitating for a few seconds.

Next, his eyes suddenly lit up.

It was not bad!

Although it was not as delicious as the food made by the chefs at home, it had its own flavor.

Twana glanced at the little boy, who was eating happily in front of her.

"What's your name?" she asked.

The child stopped eating and raised his head. "I won't tell you! Do you think I'm stupid?"

"Then how should I address you? How about I call you Little Bun?"

The boy protested with a frown. "No!"

"Why don't you like it? Little Bun is so cute! Look at your chubby face! It's like a bun. It suits you very well."

With that, Twana reached out and caressed the boy's chubby face.

Although he was still young, it could be seen that this child would become a handsome man that girls would go crazy about when he grew up.

Being "taken advantage of" by Twana, the boy blushed and lowered his head. "It's up to you!"
