Chapter 4 Find That Woman for Me

As soon as his magnetic voice was heard, everyone in the private room was stupefied.

What was going on?!

Zekariah was... hitting on a waitress? Didn't he hate women?

Twana froze for a second before she came to her senses.

No adult would fail to understand what he meant.

The man's words were simply an insult to her!

"Pah!" A crisp sound suddenly rang out in the quiet private room.

The eyes of the onlookers popped out in an instant!

Gosh! This woman... slapped Zekariah?!

It was just incredible!

Twana glared at the man with her bright, big eyes and said angrily, "I'm a waitress, not a whore! Don't think that you can trample on my dignity just because you're a rich man!"

Twana knew that she might get into trouble, so while everyone, including that man, was still in a trance, she slipped out in a hurry.

After quite a while, Shawn broke the silence. His voice was so faint that it seemed to come from afar.

"Am I seeing things after drinking too much?"

Another president next to them responded in a daze, "No, Mr. Jordan, you aren't..."

Shawn shivered all of a sudden. When he came to his senses, he turned to Zekariah, who was looking at the door with a thoughtful look.

"Zekariah, were you... crazy just now?"

If Zekariah was not crazy, it had to be the rest of them who had lost their minds!

With it being unlikely that all the others had gone mad at the same time, it was certain that Zekariah had gone crazy!

....

Zekariah... had actually said such a thing to a girl who came to bring the alcohol just now?

It was incredible that he could say something like that.

The most important thing was... the other party was a waitress!

Shawn's words brought Zekariah back to reality.

There was still a trace of burning pain on his face.

Zekariah turned aside, the look in his dark eyes growing even more inexplicable.

"Maybe."

He didn't mean that just now, but his words did mislead everyone...

He had wanted the girl to stay, so he just blurted it out without giving it any thought.

There was a gloomy look in Zekariah's eyes. He was certain that the voice came

from the same person...

He then rose to his feet. "Find that woman for me."

After he finished speaking, he strode out of the room, leaving Shawn behind, dumbfounded.

After running out of the private room, Twana left the bar in a hurry without even asking her supervisor to pay her wages.

Actually, she had no guts to ask for money. She only hoped that her supervisor wouldn't ask her for compensation for having offended their guests.

Fortunately, she was quick-witted. If she hadn't stunned them all, she wouldn't have escaped so easily!

At the thought of this, she gave herself a thumbs-up secretly!

Twana didn't expect to encounter such a situation the first time she worked here as a part-time waitress.

However, she had only her bad luck to blame.

When she got home, the light in the living room was still on, and she immediately saw Little Bun, who had fallen into sleep with his schoolbag under his head, curled up on the sofa.

Looking at the boy's angel-like face, Twana felt her heart soften.

"This little devil is actually very cute when he's asleep!" she thought.

Fearing that she might wake the child up if she carried him into the bedroom, Twana went back to her room, took a blanket and pillow out, and walked back quietly.

She gently covered the child with the blanket, lifted his little head, and replaced the schoolbag with the pillow.

As she didn't notice that the schoolbag was open, when she pulled it out from under Little Bun's head, something from inside slipped to the floor.

Twana picked it up and found that it was a notebook with a kraft cover, marked with an H in the lower-left corner.

When she opened the notebook, she saw there was only one word written on the title page "Levis".

It turned out that Little Bun's surname was Levis.

Although she knew that it was wrong to peek into someone's diary, out of curiosity, Twana still turned it to the next page.

[I wake up in a 6000yd ² manor every day. My family has a hundred companies and tens of thousands of female employees in the world. There are countless women who want to be my stepmother. However, money doesn't make me happy. I only hope to have a mommy who loves me. Alas, when can I find my mommy?]

Twana was shocked.

She closed the notebook.

"Sorry to disturb you!" she muttered secretly.

What was wrong with this boy...

Was he suffering from paranoia?

Twana turned to look at Little Bun, who was sleeping soundly on the sofa.

It seemed that he really wanted to find his mommy...

The next day was Saturday. In the early morning, Twana turned on her computer and was ready to broadcast.

She never showed herself in the videos during live gaming, and she was a terrible gamer. Even so, with her pleasant voice, she could still earn some money.

Since that well-known streamer, Bobo Jones, was found out to be an ugly woman, female streamers like Twana, who didn't show their faces but had a pleasant voice, had a huge drop in the number of fans.

Everyone thought that the better they sounded, the uglier they had to look. Otherwise, why didn't they show their faces to make more money?

That was why Twana had to find a part-time job as a waitress. However, she didn't expect that such a thing would have happened on her first day at the bar.

Now she could only continue to make a living through live streaming.

It wouldn't take long for Sawyer to graduate and return from abroad. She was thinking about saving some money so that she could go to Mhaven and attend

Sawyer's graduation ceremony!

Twana couldn't help but smile at the thought of her boyfriend, who was studying abroad.
