Chapter 5 A Secret
Twana's boyfriend was called Sawyer Scott.
He was two years older than her, and they had started dating in high school.
Because of his outstanding grades, Sawyer went to study in a foreign university after he graduated from high school. He had been taking a successive undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral program.
So he hadn't come back for a few years.
The reason why Twana didn't show her face was also related to him.
That was because Sawyer hated girls who play games.
Twana was about to start the live broadcast when the door was opened.
Seeing that Little Bun had appeared at the door, Twana said, "You're awake."
Upon seeing her, Little Bun felt relieved.
"I'm hungry, cook for me!"
Twana was speechless.
She should have thrown him out when he was asleep yesterday!
While taking a deep breath, Twana finally went to the kitchen to cook for him. The breakfast consisted of two bowls of plain noodles and two boiled eggs. "By the way, how are you going to find your mommy?" "I'll go on the street."
Twana was speechless.
"It's less likely that you can find your mommy on the street than for a meteor to hit the earth!"
After breakfast, Little Bun put on his cap and mask and was ready to go out to find his mommy.
"Well, how about going out with me?"
Twana was still worried about letting such a young child go out alone. "No, I'll be back for dinner."
"Then what about your lunch? How about..." Twana said as she took out a 50 dollar bill from her pocket.
She saw that Little Bun had picked up his schoolbag and took out a stack of 100 dollars bills from a bag inside it.
Twana stuffed the 50 dollars, which she had almost taken out, back into her pocket.
She didn't deserve it!
After Little Bun left, Twana went to the computer and started the live broadcast.
In the villa area for the rich of Grandview Residence, Slington...
Zekariah, who had a slender figure, came out coldly.
At the sight of Mr. Levis, Yunis knew that he must have worked all night.
Yunis couldn't help asking, "Mr. Levis, how about having a rest at home?"
Everyone in the upper class knew that Zekariah was sick of women, but there was one more thing that only those around him knew.
It was extremely difficult for him to fall asleep.
It was common for him to take care of his work without sleep. It was not because he didn't want to sleep, but because he couldn't.
In the past few years, he had seen many doctors and taken a lot of medicine, but the results had not been very good.
Yunis had been really afraid for many years that Zekariah would break down physically.
"That's not necessary." Zekariah sat in the back seat of the car.
Yunis also knew that he couldn't persuade him. He sat in the front passenger seat, and the driver drove to the company.
On the way to the company, it was a rare time for Zekariah to have a rest.
Yunis looked at Zekariah, who was resting in the back seat, in the rearview mirror.
But he knew that Zekariah had only closed his eyes but couldn't really fall asleep.
On the way to the company, Yunis had nothing to do, so he turned on his mobile phone, put on his Bluetooth headset, and searched for something to watch.
He accidentally clicked into a live room.
A beautiful voice came out from his phone.
"Dears, I'm here again!"
He didn't know if it was because his Bluetooth headset had run out of power, or because he didn't connect it to the phone, but the phone emitted a sound.
Disturbing Zekariah's rest, Yunis was so scared that his hand that was holding the phone trembled. He wanted to turn it off quickly, but the phone fell under the seat.
In the rearview mirror, he saw that Zekariah had opened his eyes. Yunis was so scared that he almost wet his pants.
"Sorry, Mr. Levis. I'll turn it off right away!"
Yunis fumbled in the crack of the car seats and found his mobile phone. When he
was about to turn it off, he heard the voice of the man in the back seat. "There's no need to turn it off."
...
Yunis's hand, which was about to click the X, stopped in mid-air.
What was going on?
Needless to say, he could only follow Zekariah's order.
In the back seat, Zekariah closed his eyes again.
At this moment, Twana took a deep breath and clicked on the link to the webcast website.
She said in a cheerful voice, "Hey, guys, here I am again!"
Seeing Twana online, a few old fans in her broadcast room started teasing her. Someone commented: [Is this woman here for a skydiving show again?]
Upon seeing that, Twana couldn't help but retort, "I'm indeed very good at playing games! I just don't dare to show my real strength because I'm afraid of being too popular!"
Those popular video game streamers were even more famous than some movie stars. What if Sawyer knew that she was playing games on a live broadcast?
As soon as Twana finished her words, the screen was immediately flooded with biting bullet comments like [Hahahahaha....]
[You're really killing me! You might as well switch to being a stand-up comedy host!] [Who gave you the courage to say this?]
[You can't even defeat a robot! You might be a hit because you're terrible at playing games!]
Twana was very frustrated.
D*mn it! No one believed her!
But she didn't argue with them again.
Instead, she started playing the game. As expected, each time she landed, she was quickly eliminated.
Even Yunis couldn't help but tease her in his heart, "How could she be a video game streamer with such terrible skills?"
The car stopped in Zekariah's private parking lot, which was on the third floor underground.
"Mr. Levis..."
Yunis turned off the live broadcast and was about to get out of the car.
However, when he looked back, he saw Zekariah leaning back in his seat as if he were asleep.
Yunis widened his eyes in his shock.
Wait! Mr. Levis had fallen asleep!?
Zekariah had been suffering from insomnia, so he was very picky about his sleeping environment.
The walls of his bedroom were made of a special soundproof material, which ensured that no sound could be heard when he was sleeping.
His bed was also customized, and even the concentration of oxygen and the temperature in his room were kept at the optimum levels for sleep.
In spite of all this, he still had trouble falling asleep after taking sleeping pills.
And even if he did fall asleep, he would wake up two or three hours later.
But now...
He had fallen asleep in a moving car?
