Chapter 5

Emily's POV

  "Sorry, could you excuse me for a moment?" I interrupted Blake and Owen's conversation while casting a nervous glance at the latter.

  Fortunately, Owen didn't continue speaking.

  The ambience was getting really awkward. I had to find a reason to leave.

  I looked at Blake. "I'm very sorry. I have to go now."

  Blake said, "Oh, yes, you really do. You have a lot to do at home. Don't bother with pasta tonight. It always tastes horrible. You should be more careful when you're washing my clothes. They're very delicate. And the house needs another round of cleaning. Make sure you use a clean cloth for the stairs…"

  "One last thing: set aside some time for Jeremy's favorite Beef Wellington."

  Blake sounded like he was ordering a servant around.

  He even ordered me to cook for his lover!

  It was utterly ridiculous.

  In the past, I had even taken out a notebook to jot down what he said and did everything perfectly to make him happy.

  I never doubted Jeremy's frequent visits to our house and served him like a waiter at least once!

  It was simply shameful now that I knew of Blake's true colors!

  My wolf was also blaming me for being a pushover.

  "It won't happen again!" I promised my wolf through our mind link.

  Then, I turned around and left.

  "Idiot! I haven't finished! Where are you going!" Blake chided.

  Idiot! Heh! Maybe he was right after all.

  I really was an idiot to have been deceived for so many years.

  …….

  I felt my head spin, perhaps because I was too upset at Blake.

  So, before leaving the manor, I went to the nearest bathroom.

  It was hard to calm myself down, thus I only emerged from the bathroom after a long while.

  A towering man in black stood at the door with a strong oppressive aura around him.

  I didn't know why he was here. I said to him gently, "Hello again, Uncle Owen."

  The man sneered. "Uncle? You didn't call me that in bed before."

  I looked up at him. He was really dashing.

  But most importantly, he was Blake's uncle!

  Sleeping with Blake's uncle sounded like a great revenge plan.

  But it would only work if he kept our relationship under wraps.

  If not, I would be called a traitor and a slut everywhere I went!

  It would put an immediate halt to my revenge against Blake.

  I couldn't allow that to happen.

  I walked towards him and asked, "Why are you here?"

  I looked up and happened to see his sexy Adam's apple rolling up and down his neck. It was filled with temptation.

  Owen laughed. "Don't you want to take responsibility?"

  He was teasing me without a doubt.

  It was getting casual and steamy here.

  I didn't resist his advances. Instead, I got rid of the distance between us. I stepped forward and hooked my arms around his neck. "What do you want me to do, Uncle Owen?"

  His arms were wrapped around my waist, and I sensed the burning heat of his hands as he made his way around my clothes and pressed against my skin. My body was trembling in response.

  He looked down at me. It was hard to look away from his blue irises. His breath was coursing through my cheeks.

  "Be my lover!" he declared.

  I was surprised by his straightforward request.

  I chuckled. "You should know I'm about to get married."

  Owen's fingers landed on my collarbone before he planted a kiss on it. I moaned.

  He asked, "Would you give up on your revenge? And be a womb just for Blake and Jeremy?"

  I was completely taken aback. "How did you know they…?"

  He lowered his arms towards my bottom and carried me to the sink so that I could look him level in the eye. I could sense some delight in his gaze.

  His gleeful gaze betrayed a hint of danger.

  "I believe you've received my gift?" he said.

  "Your gift?" I suddenly thought of the phone with the video on it. I covered my mouth and added, "Did you give that phone to me?"

  Owen didn't deny it.

  At this moment, someone spoke behind the door, "Emily, what are you doing inside?"

  It was Blake.

  Owen kissed my lips as he felt my entire body over and over again.

  My heart was beating like a drum, and my body was about to boil over from his burning passion.

  Blake started to knock on the door nonstop. "Emily, I know you're inside. Say something!"
