Chapter 4

Damian didn't pull his hand away. He just let me touch the scar.

"Ten years ago, I was bitten by an alpha wolf. I saved a little girl."

He stared at me intensely, and the answer was about to come out.

I took out the wolf fang necklace I always wore and handed it to him.

"This is my wolf fang."

"Ella, you finally remembered. Ten years ago, I was the one who saved you."

Hearing Damian's confirmation, I couldn't hold back my tears.

It turned out the figure I couldn't forget in that snowstorm wasn't Karen at all.

I took his hand, "I want to be your true Luna."

Damian gripped my hand tightly, "As you wish."

The next day, at the entrance of the city's most luxurious Hilton Hotel.

As soon as I got out of the car, I saw Karen and Sophia.

Karen wore a white suit, and Sophia wore an extravagant wedding dress with a long train. If you didn't know better, you'd think she was the bride today.

When Karen saw me, he frowned.

"Ella, I've prepared a grand ceremony for you here today, but I have one request."

"Sophia's not in good health. Her biggest wish is to wear a wedding dress once. She's sworn to never marry. She's dressed like this today just to fulfill her dream."

"Don't overthink it. Don't argue with a sick person."

If this were before, I would have been heartbroken and angry.

But now, I felt like I was watching a circus performance.

I smiled faintly and said with pity, "Whatever. As long as she doesn't think that outfit makes her look like she's attending a funeral."

After all, what was prepared in this hotel wasn't my wedding with Karen anyway.

Seeing me so cold, Karen felt strangely uncomfortable.

"Ella, what's with that attitude!"

Karen's face darkened, and he waved to someone behind him, "Looks like you've gone too long without discipline. You've even forgotten basic manners."

"Luckily, I brought back your elder."

A black car door opened, and a middle-aged woman stepped out.

It was my stepmother, Bianca Davis!

After my father died, she abused me and took over the inheritance. After years of fighting, I finally forced her out of the country.

Karen knew exactly how much I sacrificed to get rid of her, and now he'd brought her back!

"Ella, long time no see." Bianca walked over with a fake smile.

"I heard you're getting married. Karen especially brought me back. After all, I'm your elder. Even if we had some misunderstandings before, how could I miss a day like this?"

"Elder?" I crossed my arms and looked at Karen.

"Bringing back the enemy who abused me to disgust me—this is what you call being sensible?"

"Karen, your standards really opened my eyes."

My calmness made Karen furious with embarrassment.

He looked self-righteous, "Ella! How can you talk to an elder like that!"

"That was so long ago. You need to learn forgiveness."

"That's right, Ella." Sophia came over and said fake-sweetly, "Ms. Davis flew all the way back. How can you be so cold?"

"Shut up!"

Looking at that fake face, I wasn't going to hold back anymore. I slapped her across the face.

Sophia's head snapped to the side, and her carefully styled hair got messed up.

"Ella! You shrew!" Karen was furious. He raised his hand high and swung it toward my face.

Just then, the hotel ballroom doors suddenly opened.

Countless flashlights lit up, and a group of elders in black robes with serious expressions walked out and lined up on both sides.

A terrifying, overwhelming pressure rushed out from inside.

This was the bloodline suppression from a superior!

Karen couldn't control his body. His knees went weak, and he dropped straight to the ground!

His whole body shook violently, completely out of control.

Damian walked out in a black suit with a Wolf King badge on his chest, roaring, "Who dares touch my bride!"
