Eliana’s Point of View

“Eliana, yes, I have been waiting for you. I am Ashley,” the girl said, all giddy. I just looked at the girl. She seemed way too happy. She was very beautiful. Tall, long blond hair and blue eyes. She looked like a model. I didn’t miss the way she looked at me. I was sure she was looking at how unusual my eyes and hair were. “Where are my manners. Come on in.” I walked into the house and was shocked at how nice it was. We were in a fully furnished living room. I could see a big, beautiful kitchen.

“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” Ashley said as she saw me looking around

“Yeah, it is. I wasn’t expecting the room to be so nice,” I replied

“You are the student all of the teachers have been looking forward to seeing. I was here last year, and they were all very upset that you weren’t able to come back then. They were so happy when they found out that you would be coming this year. Mrs. Smith made sure that you had the best. She asked Prince Killian to let you stay here so that you would have the best accommodations,” Ashley said

“Prince Killian, as in the future Alpha King?” I asked

“Yes, that is exactly who I am talking about. We met last year and became very good friends. Well, we are more then friends. You could say that we are basically dating.”

“So Prince Killian is your boyfriend?” I asked

“Not exactly. He doesn’t claim me as his girlfriend but really I am. We do everything people that are together would do if you get what I am saying. I know he cares for me like I care about him. I will get him to admit it soon,” Ashley said

“Um, okay,” I replied. I didn’t have time to hear about her love troubles with the Alpha Prince. From what I knew about him was that he was a playboy. I was sure he was using Ashley just like he did any other girl he had been with.

“Anyway, he and his brother James are our roommates. Let me show you to our room,” Ashley said and we headed up the steps. The house was huge. There were way more than four bedrooms. “My room is over there and this is yours. James is on the third floor and Killian is on the fourth,” Ashley said as we walked into my room.

The room was bigger than the one I had back at home. There was a sitting room with a tv and couch. I walked through the door where that went to the bedroom. There was a king size bed, TV, and a walk in closet. There was also a balcony. It was nicer than I could imagine.

“So, I have to ask. Why the purple highlights and purple contacts?” Ashley asked

“They are not highlights or contacts. They are my natural color,” I said

“Really? That is so weird. I mean, not in a bad way. Just different, I guess. I am sorry if I am offending you,” Ashley said

“It’s okay. Trust me I have heard worse,” I said truthfully. We were both quiet for a moment and then she spoke again

“I will leave you to get settled. Later, I will introduce you to James. Killian won’t be back until later,” Ashley said

“Okay,” I replied, and she left. She seemed nice, even with her questions. I wasn’t shocked that she would ask them. Everyone always wondered about my strange appearance.

I decided to take a shower and rest. The ride there was long. When I got into the bathroom, I decided to take a bubble bath. It was fully stocked with different scents. I got into the tub and sighed once the water was filled. Things seemed to be going better than I had imagined so far. I stayed in the bath until the water became cold.

After bathing, I decided to dress comfortably. I put on a pair of black sweats and a black T-shirt. I sat on the bed, and it was the most comfortable bed I had ever slept in. I thought about taking a nap but decided not to.

After getting ready, I met Ashley downstairs. When I arrived she was down there with a handsome guy that was around our age. He was tall and muscular with blond hair and blue eyes.

“Hey, Eliana. Are you ready to go?” Ashley asked

“Yeah,” I said

“This is our roommate James,” Ashley said

“Hello, Eliana. It is nice to meet you,” James said

“It’s nice to meet you, too,” I replied. Of course, I didn’t miss the way he was staring at me. I knew he was wondering why my hair and eyes looked so weird.

“We should get going, Eliana,” Ashley said

“Okay,” I replied and we left after saying bye to James. I could feel everyone’s stare as we passed them. I was so used to it that I ignored them.

“I think that is enough for now. It is getting late, and dinner is about to start,” Ashley said

“Okay,” I replied, and we headed to the cafeteria. When we arrived, I saw Liliana sitting with some students. I waved at her but she acted as if she didn’t see me. Who is that?” Ashley asked as we went up to get our food

“That is my sister,” I replied

“Why did she ignore you?”

“She finally is able to have a new life. She doesn’t want me to embarrass her,” I said and I looked at Ashley to see she had a frown on her face.

“Ashley, Eliana,” James said and we went over to sit with him.

“Hey,” Ashley said

“Hi,” I added

“So what do you think about this place?” James asked

“It seems nice so far.”

“I will be back, and I am going to go to the restroom,” I said

“Do you want me to go with you?” Ashley asked

“No, I remember where it is,” I replied, and I got up to go to the restroom. After using the bathroom, I washed my hands and made my way back to the cafeteria. As I was walking, three guys started coming my way.
