Chapter 3 .

Aria's pov.

"So I kept following Ivan's instructions, I treated you like I hated you because that was what I was told to do. I had to take away any thought you could get in retaliate against Ivan." Mom said, with a sad voice.

"12 years ago, I took you to a mall. There I left you in the hope you would run away, which you did. The group of people who found you treated you well, they helped you train, and you became a force to be reckoned with." Mom said with a sad smile and I looked at her confused.

"I kept talking to this group of people that had you, in secret, to help them keep you away from the Russian. But two years ago, the Russian found you again and that is when Ivan managed to hit you so hard on your head that you forgot everything about yourself. That also helped Ivan work with a clean slate and could build you up to how he wanted and needed you to be." Mom said, and I looked at her wide-eyed.

"I have lost the way to contact the group that kept you safe for 10 years, but I need you to call this man after and only him. I need you to go up and pack your bag, but only take what you absolutely need." Mom said, and she placed a piece of paper, a necklace and a bracelet in my hand.

"The number is for the man I need you to call. He will keep you safe and bring you back to the family you belong to. The bracelet is your birth right and will show your family you belong to them. The necklace was a necklace you had with you when Ivan found you again two years ago." Mom said, and I looked down on the three things in my hand.

"Tonight Ivan said it was time to get you to meet your future husband, and that Egor should be able to teach you how to please him in bed. I couldn't let that happen. I would never let them hurt you like that. So we got into a bad fight. Ivan also got injured but sadly it wasn't fatal. He will come back for you, and you need to be gone when he gets here." Mom said in such a serious tone I couldn't help but swallow nervously.

"Please Aria, know that, despite how I have been, I love you with everything in me. You and my sons are my pride and joy, and now it's time you get to meet them. I need you to call that number and get away from here. Right now, and don't trust anyone other than that man. Can you promise me that?" Mom said, and I nodded while tears kept running down my face.

"And Aria, I pray you get your memories back soon, and that you learn that not all people are bad. That it's still good in this world. I hope you find your confidence again, learn to trust people and let them in. You have a strong sense of knowing who will do you good or who will do you harm. Trust in yourself and trust in your gut. Go Aria, get out of here and call that number. I will always watch over you from heaven. I love you so much." Mom said, and then she gently pushed me away from her, indicating I had to move.

I also saw she stopped breathing, and now her eyes looked lifeless. I burst out crying hard knowing that my mother was no longer here.

"I love you too, Mom." I whispered before I turned around and ran upstairs and stopped the recording.

I found a backpack and only packed my most valuable things. Not that it's a lot. It's my notebook with lyrics I have made, my sketchbook with drawings. A few clothes and the money I have saved up.

I got the necklace around my neck, it looks like a pendent and has the letters J on the front. On the back it was three letters TFA. What the different letters means I have no idea.

The necklace looked to be of platinum, the pendent as well, and it had four pink diamonds on it.

The bracelet also looked to be of platinum, it had many small pink diamonds on it and the letters AB in cursive writing with some ivy flower decoration on it.

I had to take a few minutes to calm myself and stop crying. I just lost my mother. Yes, she has been abusing me as long as I can remember, but she was my mother. And from the sound of it, she only acted out of love despite how horrible she has been to me.

I took out my phone from my pocket and dialed the number on the paper my mom gave me.

It only gave a few rings before the other person picked it up.

"Richard Kingston speaking." The man said in a stern voice.

"Hey Sir, um, my mom told me to call this number and that you would help me." I said in a very nervous voice.

"What's your name, Little one?" He asked more softly, and I took a deep breath.

"My mom said my name is Aria Bellini, Sir." I said, and I heard the man take a shaky breath.

"Is your mother's name Lily, Little one?" He asked even softer and with a hint of care in his voice.

"That's correct Sir. Mom and Ivan had a bad fight. Mom took her last breath not long ago. She told me to pack the most important things and then call you. She told me you would help me get back to my real family." I said, letting out a shaky breath.

I heard the man let out a shaky breath on the other side of the call.

"Of course, Aria, I will come for you right away. Are you in a safe place right now?" He then asked, and it sounded like he was moving around on some stuff on his end.

"I'm in my bedroom at the moment. But Mom said Ivan would come back for me to bring me to the Russian mafia. She said they wanted Egor to start training me on how to please him in bed." I said first with a shaky voice, then, the last part, more embarrassed and scared.

"You can not stay there, Aria. Can you get to a motel close by and stay there till I get there?" He asked more worried now.

"Yes, I can do that, Sir." I said with a shaky voice.

"Good, I will send you an address. Go there, and I will be there in a few hours, Aria. Stay safe and out of sight. Text me you room number when you get there." He said, and I just told him I agreed to it all.

He told me to be safe and we said goodbye. I hurried out, and before I left the house I closed my mother's eyes and kissed her forehead.
