Chapter 4 Savior

CLARISSE

Darkness. That's all I remembered. Then, nothing.

When I finally opened my eyes, I wasn't lying on the cold, hard ground anymore. I was in a bed. A real bed. Soft, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The room was luxurious, nothing like the dingy bars and cheap motels I'd gotten used to. This was a mansion, or something close to it. Like the one I grew up in, but… warmer. Safer.

I looked down at my arm. It was bandaged, but the pain was still there, a dull, throbbing ache. That damn wolf. I shuddered, remembering its teeth sinking into my flesh.

But then, I remembered the man. He'd saved me. My savior. A wave of gratitude washed over me, mixed with a surge of anger at Maya and Chloe for leaving me to die. Worthless. Just like Amelia.

The door opened, and he walked in. Andrew. He was even more handsome in the daylight, his dark eyes sparkling with kindness. He carried a tray of food, a real meal, not just some greasy bar snack.

He smiled at me, and my heart skipped a beat. What was happening to me? I was a lesbian, for God's sake. I'd never been attracted to a man in my life. But this… this was different.

He set the tray on the table and asked, "How are you feeling?"

I swallowed hard, suddenly self-conscious. "I… I'm still in pain," I stammered.

He reached out and gently took my arm, examining the bandage. A jolt of electricity shot through me, just like it had the night he carried me away.

"Have some lunch," he said, his voice soft and soothing. "Then you can take some painkillers."

I felt my cheeks flush. Why was I so shy all of a sudden? I was acting like a complete moron.

He reached out and gently touched my forehead, checking for a fever. "You're still a little warm," he said, his brow furrowed with concern.

Then, he smiled. "I'm Andrew," he said, extending his hand.

I stuttered again, my brain completely blank. "C-Clarisse," I finally managed to say, shaking his hand. His touch sent another shiver through me.

"You're safe here, Clarisse," he said, his eyes locking with mine. "You can stay until you recover."

"Thank you," I whispered, my voice barely audible.

He smiled again, and I swear my heart almost stopped. I couldn't stop staring at him, like some lovesick teenager. Then, realizing I was being ridiculous, I quickly looked down, my face burning with embarrassment.

What the hell was happening to me?

In the following days, I started to recover. The pain in my arm lessened, and I began to feel like myself again. Well, almost.

I still didn't know much about Andrew. He was kind, generous, and incredibly handsome. He made me laugh, he made me feel safe, and he made my heart race every time he looked at me.

And that was the problem.

I was starting to have a crush on him. A big one. It was a completely foreign feeling, unlike anything I'd ever experienced with women. Was I not a lesbian anymore?

"Nah," I muttered to myself one morning, staring at my reflection in the mirror. "It's just… different. All the women I've been with have hurt me. Andrew saved my life."

After breakfast, he stood up to leave. I watched him, my heart aching.

"Where are you going?" I blurted out before I could stop myself.

He smiled. "Just to work," he said. "I have a company to run."

"Oh," I said, feeling stupid. I was too shy to ask what kind of company.

He ruffled my hair. "I'll be back later," he said. "Just relax and take care of yourself."

And then he was gone, leaving me alone in the mansion.

I knew I couldn't stay there forever. I needed to find a job, a place to live. But where would I go? What if I asked Andrew to hire me? He seemed like a CEO, and he was definitely rich. This place was bigger and more luxurious than my father's mansion.

But as the days passed, I began to notice strange changes in my body. My senses were sharper. I could hear the wind rustling through the trees outside, I could smell the faintest hint of rain in the air. My strength increased. I could lift things I never could before.

And then there was the heat. An unusual, burning heat that stirred inside me whenever Andrew was near. It was intoxicating, frightening, and utterly confusing.

"What's happening to me?" I whispered to myself, clutching my chest.

Five days after the wolf bite, the full moon arrived. I felt restless, agitated. The heat inside me intensified, growing hotter and hotter until I thought I would explode.

I knew something was wrong. Terribly wrong.

"This is insane," I muttered, splashing more cold water on my face. I tried everything to cool down. I took a freezing bath, shivering until my teeth chattered. "It's not working!"

I drank ice water, chewed on ice cubes until my teeth ached, but the heat just kept building, like a fire raging inside me.

"God, what's happening?" I whispered, clutching at my chest.

I even tried to take care of things myself. I paid attention to my clit, even fingered my pussy, but it was no use. The heat just intensified, and the longing for something… more… grew stronger.

"It's not working, it's not working!" I repeated, frustrated and desperate. "I need something… someone…"

And then, the thought hit me. A man. Not just any man, but him.

"No," I whispered, shaking my head. "I can't. I'm a lesbian."

But the heat was overwhelming, the need was too strong to ignore. I couldn't think straight.

"Screw it," I muttered, making a decision. "I'm going crazy."

Impulsively, I left my room and walked down the hall to Andrew's. I didn't even knock, I just stood there, hesitating, my heart pounding in my chest.

"What am I doing?" I whispered to myself. "This is insane."

But then, the door opened. And there he was. Andrew. He was wearing nothing but a towel, wrapped low around his waist, his chest bare and glistening with water droplets. He looked like a god.

My breath caught in my throat. I couldn't speak. I couldn't think. All I could do was feel.

Without a word, I stepped inside and kissed him.
