Chapter 3

"Samantha, Is that your cousin?" Nathalie asked hesitating as she and Samantha are not on good terms.

Samantha's blood will always boil when she sees her and Nathalie respects her and treats her as a big sister and she is Andrew's cousin.

She did not tell Andrew about it because she wants a peaceful life.

"Yeah, she's been here for our business," he answered shortly.

And suddenly end their video call!

"Say goodbye to mommy kids," Andrew said.

"I want to talk to Mommy. No goodbye!" Oh, her sweet little Kevin.

She misses them.

"Say goodbye baby, it's time to sleep," Andrew explains.

"Bye Mommy, Kevin loves you," he said sweetly.

But Kenneth will always be Kenneth. He just says goodbye.

"Goodbye, Mom." That's all he said.

She loves both of the twins.

They are adorable and very cute!

"Bye babies, See you soon!" she answered tearfully.

"Are you still at the office?" Andrew asks worriedly.

"Yeah, I have some urgent papers that need to be finished as long as possible," Nathalie answered with a smile.

"Take care, I love you," Andrew said.

But Nathalie could not answer Andrew. Since then and until now she felt sorry for him!

I'm sorry Andrew... She whispers in her mind.

Andrew just waved his hand together with the twins and ended the video call.

After talking to the twins and Andrew, there's a deafening silence all over the office.

No one wants to talk!

What should I say? I don't have any topic to discuss with.

Nathalie said to herself.

She feels awkward because Lance is just looking at her with furrowed eyebrows.

And she's wondering what kind of drama that he is portraying right now!

"Is your husband having an affair?" Lance asks seriously, breaking the silence.

And Nathalie is shocked upon hearing a hilarious question from Lance.

How could he ask like that?

"What are you saying?" she annoyingly asks.

"Do you love him?" he asks seriously.

"Of course," she answered hesitating and afraid to look at him.

"You don't love him, why stay with him?" Lance could see the lie in her eyes.

"Can we please proceed to business? It's getting late and please stop asking nonsense questions." She said.

"Do you love me?" he suddenly asks.

She was caught off guard. She can't answer the question!

"I've been waiting for you all these years... Just to know that you are already married with twins. But I decided to fight for you." Lance said with determination.

He is insane!

Nathalie shouted in her mind.

"Lance, there's nothing to fight. There will never be us! You are already engaged and I am happily married. Can't we work peacefully?" she is annoyed.

He is making their situation more complicated!

"Are you really happy? I will cancel my engagement, there's no problem with that. We are just engaged for business." he explained.

Why can't he understand the fact that they are both not free anymore?

"Don't you understand? I am legally married!" Nathalie shouted. She is getting angry.

"Then file a divorce and make me your Mistress," he answered seductively.

He is really out of his mind! Nathalie whispered in disbelief.

"Let's proceed to business, I want to go home and rest." She said tiredly.

There's no use in explaining everything to Lance if he won't listen at all!

Nathalie knows that the past will remain there.

Those sweet memories between the two of them will never go back.

A sweet mistake that changed her life...

Lance grabs her which makes her fall from his lap.

And hotness spread all over her body!

Her knees felt weak. She needs to fight this feeling.

Or else her beautiful family will be ruined.

I guess it will not be as long as Lance is here smiling sweetly!

"Aren't we making a business right now?" he asks seductively.

He's insane! Can't he stop?

"Give me the papers and let's proceed to something serious Mr. Vergara," I said.

I am losing my patience right now but I need to calm down.

"Sure, here it is..." he answered but didn't give me the papers.

He suddenly kisses me, making small bites on my neck that cause a strange sensation!
