Kieran sat down on the couch, holding that tiny bottle of pills in his hand.

He had taken them for a while after getting out of prison. But with his bipolar disorder, they eventually switched him to lithium.

Just as he was deep in thought, his phone buzzed.

Caller ID: Ava.

He picked up.
