Chapter 5 5
Damiano “Reaper” Giovanni.
‘This is ridiculous.’ I thought to myself as I found myself standing in the middle of the VIP restroom, waiting for the girl in the stall to finish up her business.
How did I go from threatening this little girl to waiting on her in the fucking bathroom?
“Cazzo.” I hissed under my breath, massaging my temple with my thumb and index finger.
Flushing sounds came, and a second later, the stall door was pushed open, and she stepped out meekly. She had only met my gaze for a split second before she looked down, and then she carefully waddled her way towards the faucet beside me, her shoulders tensed and her body quivering.
I gave her a proper once over for the first time that night. She was short, barely reaching my shoulder even with those black straps heels she had on, and had on a tight strapless black shimmery dress that stopped inches above her knees. Given how tight it was, it accentuated her curves, and she had them all in the right places.
Curly black hair rested on her back in waves as she moves, and her tanned skin seems to glow under the warm orange bathroom lights. Even with blood stains on her body and outfit, she looked like a mess, but a tempting mess.
From the round, slightly chubby face and full rose tinted cheeks, small pouty lips that becomes more prominent each time she puckers them, and that button nose that sits perfectly on her face. Her brows were slightly bushy, but it somehow complimented her.
Something in me stirred for the nth time that night since laying my eyes on her. I knew what it was. Attraction at its finest. But she is just another one of the many women I am attracted to, and what more, she is not someone I want to be attracted to.
So, I swallowed down a harsh lump and tamped the ridiculous, passing lust away, my gaze refocusing on her without those thoughts clouding my judgement. She was washing her hand, scrubbing it with so much intent as if wanting to tear her skin just to get rid of the blood on her, and I found myself wondering if she really was telling the truth earlier. That she did accidentally stumble in.
But could there really be a concidnece with her?
Finding her shaky body as she tried to rid herself of the blood increasingly irritating, I huffed out a breath, and I did not miss the way she stilled.
She stopped the faucet, seemingly giving up on her attempt, then slowly turned to face me. She tilted her head up, and those almond shaped eyes held too much innocence I craved to ruin.
“I am done.” She announced, her voice small, and delicate.
My tone was dry. “I can tell.” I pushed myself to stand straight, facing her completely. “Your little wasted friend at the bar. Bree Sanchez, is it?”
Her eyes widened, and I could see the one emotion I had seen in her face the most that night make an appearance. Fear. “How…how did you—“
“Sasha Castillo.” The name rolled off my lips, and her breath got caught up in her throat. Tilting my head to the side, I parted my lips once more. “If you are going to ask how I know, do not bother. I know you more than you think I do.”
She swallowed a lump. “What are you going to do to me then?” Her voice cracked. “Will you kill me now?”
My lips almost curled upwards. Almost. She was almost cute.
“Believe me I would love nothing more.” And I meant it. A breath escaped my lips however, my shoulders slumping. “But count your luck tonight, I am not in the mood.”
Her eyes had almost narrowed. I had seen that earlier look in her eyes, the spark of fire she was trying hard to hide. She knew better than to do so though or run her mouth, so, she zipped it.
My expression hardened, my tone turning serious. “I will let you go tonight. But, if I hear a word of what happened today, in any way or manner, and believe me I would know.” I took a step closer to her, and she took a step back. I closed her in her space with my arms going around her, holding the basin behind her and trapping her between it and I.
Her lips parted, a shaky breath escaping.
My gaze dropped to those pink, luscious inviting lips, and I felt blood rush down there. I swallowed a lump, restraining my emotions, and the painfully tore my eyes back to hers.
“I would find you.” I promised. “And when I do,” my voice dropped huskier, and lower. I leaned down further, running my nose down the curve of her neck, and her hands went to grab my shoulder. She watched with baited breath and I inhaled the faint scent of vanilla lingering on her skin.
My eyes flicked close, nearly coming undone under the scent. Cazzo! It’s addicting.
My knuckles turned white as I gripped the basin tighter. “You will be begging me then.” My lips brushed her neck, biting down on her soft spot, and a breathy moan escaped her lips. I sucked on it, drawing out a longer mosn before pulling away.
Her lips parted even more if possible, and her breathing turned heavy.
That was a promise, in more ways than her little, innocent mind could fathom.
But those eyes widened with curiosity as my eyes found hers, and I could see the desire in it, matching my own despite the fear she still felt clearly. That fire though, it was there, and her grip on my shoulders remained.
I smirked. I guess I am not the only one affected then.
Not wanting to let her leave without getting some payback for stirring this emotion in me, I leaned my face down, and very softly, very faint, almost as if it was not there in the first place, I brushed my lips against hers. She leaned forward to deepen it, but I pulled away, detaching myself from her completely, putting a distance between us.
“Leave now before I change my mind.” I gritted harshly, feeling my body hot. When I realized she was still staring at me, looking all ruffled up and tempting as fuck, my eye narrowed. “Now.”
That seemed to have snapped her back to her senses, because she quickly recovered, and in a matter of seconds, she was rushing out like her life depended on it.
I heaved out a breath once she was gone, running a hand down my face before I walked out as well, instantly met with the man waiting for me there.
“Capo.” Sergio my right handed man was by my side as I settled down. “Miss Castillo, should I bring her back?”
“Do not bother. She cannot escape from me even if she wants to.” I waved him off, sinking back into the sofa, throwing my head back as I took in a deep inhale, realizing her scent lingered on it from her passing out earlier. I cursed in my head, realizing she was starting to haunt my thoughts. “What’s the situation on Royce’s side? Got any hint who his backer is?”
Sergio’s lips curled downwards as he shook his head. “Negative, Sir. Whoever it is, they are laying low. They have realized he has been eliminated however so we would keep eyes on port tonight till tomorrow. Certainly the would make a move if the goods arrive.”
“Handle it tonight.” I breathed out calmly, pulling out a new cigar and lighting it up. “You need to be on time tomorrow so we can’t be occupied then. There’s another task to handle.”
“Noted, Capo.”
I waved him off, dismissing him. However, before he could leave, my voice came once more. “Send in some of the girls here.”
He nodded. “Right away.”
As he left, I could only take a snag of my cigar waiting for the girls that came flooded in almost immediately. But deep down, I knew I was doing all this just to get rid of a certain black haired little girl from my head.
The feel of her soft skin beneath my lips, the damn addicting vanilla scent —I had always hated vanilla— and her soft moans underneath me. I adjusted my sitting position, my muscles tense as I tried to push away the image of her sprawled over me earlier after she had passed out. The way I could feel all the curves of her body.
Cazzo! I need to get my mind off this girl.
Because I am a man of principles. And fucking hell there are some lines that should not be crossed.
