Chapter 3 Episode 3
The rain was still falling, though not as heavily as before. However, the atmosphere between them was far more tense.
Alexa Ken stared at Emeli in silence. His gaze was so deep, as if he were trying to dig something out of the face of the woman in front of him.
“She… really doesn’t remember me?” Ken said inwardly.
Ken’s jaw tightened slightly. Slowly, his hand lifted.
His two cold fingers touched Emeli’s chin, lifting her face slightly by force so that she would look straight at him.
Emeli was startled. Her body tensed reflexively.
“Sir…” her breath hitched, “what are you doing…?”
Ken did not answer.
His eyes traced that face once again. Sure enough, this woman was truly her. Ken could not be mistaken.
“Spend the night with me.”
The sentence came out just like that. Ken’s voice sounded soft, yet it struck hard enough.
“What did you say?!” Emeli’s eyes widened instantly.
Juna, who was standing near the car, immediately stiffened.
“Sir—” Before he could finish his sentence, he saw Ken pull Emeli’s body closer.
His movement was very strong and fast. And the next second, his lips immediately crushed against Emeli’s lips. He kissed her forcefully. The kiss was very deep and demanding. He gave no space for Emeli to refuse.
Emeli’s eyes widened immediately. Her body froze completely. She tried to push Ken’s chest, but the strength in her body seemed to disappear. Her body was cold, trembling, exhausted… and unconsciously, the warmth from the man in front of her felt like the only thing keeping her from collapsing.
“Mm—!”
Her breath caught. Her heart beat irregularly. The kiss was truly deep and demanding, as if trying to claim something.
Juna immediately turned his face away, even turning his body completely. He knew… this was not something he should see.
Emeli tried to resist. Her hands briefly pushed against Ken’s shoulders. But slowly, her movements weakened. Her breath mixed with his.
And without realizing it, she returned Ken’s kiss little by little, there was hesitation that she felt.
But it was enough to make Ken press deeper.
The sound of the rain, and the cold atmosphere along with fear, all blended into one feeling that made her mind chaotic.
Ken finally pulled away. Their breaths were both heavy.
But Ken’s eyes remained cold… though slightly darker than before.
He looked at Emeli’s reddened lips. There was a brief pause. As if he wanted to continue.
But he held himself back.
“Juna,” his voice returned flat, “to the hotel.”
Juna immediately snapped back. “Yes, Sir.”
Inside the car, the atmosphere was far quieter. But not calm.
Emeli sat in the back seat, her body still trembling. Her hands gripped the edge of her wet dress. She had not fully processed what had just happened.
Ken sat beside her. Without saying anything, his hand pulled Emeli again. And this time, his kiss fell again, but felt very gentle.
“Sir—”
Her words disappeared as those lips covered hers again.
Ken said nothing. He only kissed her. As if that was his way of calming something inside himself. Or perhaps… marking.
His hand moved up, touching Emeli’s neck. And when his lips moved down there, Emeli flinched. Her breath caught.
That touch made her body tremble. Not only because of fear. But also because of something she could not understand.
Ken paused for a moment, looking at the reddish mark that began to appear on the woman’s neck.
His gaze was satisfied. “Now… you are mine.” Ken whispered, making Emeli’s eyes widen and her heart beat even faster than before.
06:00 in the morning. Sunlight began to enter through the gaps in the curtains of the luxurious hotel. Emeli slowly woke up. Her body felt heavy. Her head felt dizzy.
And when she moved her body slightly, she winced softly.
“Ah…” Her hand touched the sheet. And when her eyes looked down, she froze.
She was stunned when she saw the red stain. Tears immediately welled up in her eyes. She bit her lip, holding back her voice.
“No! Why was I so foolish!” Emeli clenched both her hands tightly, she remembered what happened last night, she had truly lost control and could not refuse.
Emeli tightly closed her eyes, trying to hold back the memories that suddenly surged without permission.
But the image was too clear.
She remembered how her body was gently pushed onto the soft bed. Her hand had tried to hold Ken’s chest, but the strength in her body seemed to disappear. The man’s gaze was so deep, pressing her without needing force.
“Still a virgin?” Ken had whispered at that time, his voice low, almost inaudible, yet clear in her ears.
Emeli did not know why… but she nodded.
Maybe because she was tired. Maybe because of the cold. Or maybe because she had truly lost control.
Her trembling hand moved first instead. Her fingers gripped Ken’s tie, pulling him closer. And before she could think, she kissed the man first.
Her breath hitched as she remembered it.
“No…” she whispered softly, her face reddening.
She opened her eyes, her breathing uneven.
A sense of shame hit her so hard that her chest felt tight. She could not believe what she had done.
Her hands covered her face.
She had truly… lost control that night.
Her hands trembled as she pulled the blanket slightly. She saw Ken still sleeping beside her.
The man’s face looked calm. There was no trace of last night’s cruelty.
As if all of it… meant nothing to him. Emeli’s tears fell. But she quickly wiped them away.
“I must not cry, Emeli!” She wiped her tears. She must not cry here. She must not let Ken wake up.
With slow movements, she got out of bed. Her body felt weak, but she forced herself.
She put her clothes back on.
Her clothes were still slightly wet. And she felt very cold. But she did not care.
She glanced once more toward Ken.
That gaze was empty.
Then she hurriedly left.
The hotel corridor was still quiet. Emeli’s steps were unsteady. Every step felt heavy. Her head began to throb. Her vision slightly spun.
“I… have to leave as soon as possible…”
She walked faster. But her body grew weaker. The world around her felt like it was spinning. Her legs wavered. And when her body was about to fall—
Suddenly, someone caught her. A strong hand held her shoulder.
“Hey—”
Emeli was startled. Her half-closed eyes opened immediately. And when she saw the face of the man in front of her, she froze instantly.
Her pupils widened.
“You…?” her voice was almost inaudible.
That face. She recognized it. Very well. But… im
possible.
The man also fell silent. Looking at her with an expression that was hard to read. And with the breath she had left, Emeli whispered, “You…”
