The ballroom doors burst open once more. This time, it wasn't the local cops on Damien's payroll—it was a fully armed State Police Major Crimes Unit, led in by Allen.

The lead detective's face was granite-hard, a thick stack of arrest warrants in his hand.

"Damien Win...
