Chapter 8: Go to Hell
"Jason, George doesn't want me anymore."
Jennifer threw herself into Jason's arms, crying.
Jason's body stiffened for a moment before he asked gently, "What happened?"
Jennifer didn't answer, just cried harder.
Jason's eyes darkened as he held her and walked into the room, closing the door with his foot.
After placing Jennifer on the sofa, Jason asked again, "Did George bully you?"
Jennifer immediately shook her head.
She kept her head down and said in a hoarse voice, "No, George married Charlotte. It's my fault for being foolish, for thinking he still had feelings for me."
"Charlotte again!"
Jason frowned deeply, his eyes filled with disgust at the mention of Charlotte.
He looked up and comforted Jennifer earnestly, "Don't worry, I'll help you get rid of Charlotte."
Jennifer's eyes lit up instantly.
But they quickly dimmed again.
"Better not. If George finds out, he'll definitely be angry."
"You're just too kind."
Jason looked at her fondly, "Don't worry, I'll handle it."
With that, Jason stood up and strode away.
Watching Jason's retreating figure, Jennifer smiled wickedly.
Charlotte, you're the one who won't leave us alone. You can't blame me.
The next day.
After waking up and wandering around the beach for a while, Charlotte returned to the villa and didn't see Sarah. She asked Jack, "Where's Sarah?"
Jack was stunned, "Didn't she go out with you?"
"No." Charlotte immediately denied it.
Realizing something was wrong, she quickly took out her phone and called Sarah.
Several calls in a row went unanswered.
Until the last attempt, someone finally picked up.
"I'm at the diving area. Come here."
It was Jennifer's voice.
Charlotte gripped her phone and warned in a low voice, "Jennifer, our grudge shouldn't involve innocent people."
"Innocent?" Jennifer laughed coldly, "Cut the crap. Either get your ass over here now, or I'll kill Sarah."
"Wait for me!"
Charlotte agreed through gritted teeth.
Jack looked at her uneasily, "Jennifer clearly isn't a good person. Don't go."
"I have to go." Her tone was firm.
She absolutely couldn't let Sarah get hurt because of her.
"Then I'll go with you."
"Don't come." Charlotte interrupted him, "Go get my yacht ready."
After instructing Jack, Charlotte headed to the diving area.
When she saw Sarah tied up, Charlotte couldn't suppress her anger and slapped Jennifer across the face.
The sound of the slap was especially loud in the quiet diving area.
"Jennifer, why are you dragging other people into our business?"
Charlotte stared at her intently, the fury in her eyes making Jennifer's body tremble involuntarily.
She covered her face, her eyes turning vicious.
"You dare to hit me?"
Charlotte sneered, "Do I need to file an application to hit you?"
Hearing Charlotte's cutting words, Jennifer's eyes grew redder and redder.
She wanted to kill this bitch right now!
"Charlotte, run! I heard this bitch Jennifer and some man saying they're going to kill you." Sarah suddenly spoke up.
"Shut up!" Jennifer yelled at Sarah.
She walked toward Sarah with hatred in her eyes.
Charlotte immediately grabbed her arm.
"You should know George and I are getting divorced. If you're in such a hurry to marry him, you should convince him to sign the divorce papers with me right away."
Jennifer let out another cold laugh.
She looked at Charlotte coldly, "Are you showing off to me how much George doesn't want to divorce you?"
Was Jennifer's brain damaged?
Charlotte pressed her throbbing temples, trying hard to control her temper.
"Jennifer, since I'm willing to divorce George, it means I have no feelings for him anymore. Understand?"
"No."
Jennifer was truly impossible to communicate with.
Charlotte looked at Sarah and asked with concern, "Are you hurt anywhere?"
Seeing Charlotte still had the mind to care about her, Sarah urged again, "Are you stupid? Run! They really want to kill you!"
Charlotte acted as if she hadn't heard and walked straight toward Sarah.
Just as she was about to untie Sarah, Jennifer suddenly stopped her.
"Go live in another city right now, or Sarah and you will both die here."
Hearing Jennifer's warning, Charlotte laughed.
Jennifer's peripheral vision caught sight of George rushing over, and she suddenly smiled meaningfully.
She mouthed silently: You're done for.
Before Charlotte could react, Jennifer suddenly grabbed Charlotte's arm and forcefully hit herself with it.
"Charlotte, don't hit me, please."
Crazy!
Charlotte tried to pull Jennifer away, but Jennifer stuck to her like glue.
To George, this scene looked like Charlotte was continuously hitting Jennifer.
"Charlotte, let go of Jennifer!" George's angry roar came.
Hearing George's voice, Charlotte instinctively turned to look.
George, why was he here?
Before she could figure it out, Jennifer suddenly grabbed Charlotte's hand and started crying loudly.
"Charlotte, I just love George too much. I'm sorry, please, can you leave George?"
Seeing her grab at her again, Charlotte immediately shook her off in disgust.
Jennifer suddenly let out a scream.
The next second, Charlotte was pulled into the sea by Jennifer.
This was the diving area where the water was deeper than elsewhere. After falling in, Jennifer pushed her underwater, and Charlotte's calf hit a reef.
Sharp pain shot through her calf, and Charlotte's strength to struggle grew weaker.
She could feel that Jennifer really wanted to kill her.
Her mind became clearer.
Perhaps kidnapping Sarah was just a ploy. Jennifer wanted to lure her here, then kill her in the water.
All that nonsense earlier was just to buy time, deliberately waiting for George to arrive.
What a vicious mind Jennifer had!
"Jennifer!" George ran to the shore.
Jennifer struggled while shouting to George, "George, come save me, I'm so scared."
"Don't be afraid, I'm coming to save you right now."
As soon as he finished speaking, George jumped into the water.
But the next second, George was dumbfounded too.
Not far away, a gray fin cut through the water's surface, gleaming coldly in the sunlight.
Sharks!
More than one! Their dorsal fins were like flags of death, breaking through the waves at a terrifying speed.
On the shore, the tied-up Sarah was the first to scream.
"Sharks! There are sharks! Charlotte, get out of the water!"
She struggled desperately to stand up, but she was still tied up and could only watch helplessly as the sharks closed in on Charlotte.
Several other tourists in the diving area also noticed.
"Oh my God! What is that?"
"Sharks! It's sharks! Run!"
A young man with binoculars was so scared he collapsed to the ground.
"Three, at least three! And they're speeding up!"
