Hannah's POV

A muscle in Nathan’s jaw ticked violently.

He let out a cold laugh, pulled out his phone, dialed HR Manager Sarah, and threw it on speaker to prove me wrong.

"Sarah, what is this nonsense Hannah’s spewing about quitting? Why wasn't I informed?"

A second of dead silence on the line.
