Chapter 1

The Torrential Rain Apocalypse: I Saved the Whole Village on a Cruise Ship

The villagers were grateful to me.

But someone spread rumors, saying I had a warehouse full of food but wouldn't let them eat their fill.

The villagers started complaining and blaming me.

I had no choice but to open the warehouse to show them—there wasn't much food left at all, but they still didn't believe me.

"Kevin Taylor! You must have hidden all the food!"

"Right! He never really wanted to save us!"

They beat me up and cursed at me.

Just then, a gang of thugs seized the ship.

The whole village became slaves under the thugs' threats, young women became playthings, and the children had it even worse.

I wanted to lead the villagers in fighting back, but someone betrayed us to those thugs, just for a full meal.

In the end, I was beaten to death and thrown into the sea to feed the fish.

When I opened my eyes again, time had gone back to three days before the apocalypse. I immediately packed my things, ready to get away from these ungrateful people.

But the villagers blocked my door, demanding I hand over the cruise ship keys.

Turns out I wasn't the only one reborn—the whole village had been reborn too.

I obediently handed over the keys.

After all, the system said this time it's a zombie apocalypse. What good is a ship anyway?

Chapter 1

"Watch out! They're coming to your house."

A random text message suddenly popped up on my phone.

I didn't have time to deal with it. I quickly gathered my things, getting ready to leave this place.

But just then, someone kicked my door open.

My uncle Philip Taylor led the villagers streaming in, all looking hostile, holding hoes and shovels, surrounding me completely.

"Kevin! Hand over the cruise ship keys!"

I looked coldly at these terrible people around me.

In my last life, they were the ones who got me killed.

I suppressed the murderous look in my eyes and put on a confused face.

"Uncle Philip, why do you want my cruise ship keys?"

"Stop playing dumb!"

My cousin Jasper Taylor stepped forward with a cold laugh.

"It's about to rain hard. Hand over the cruise ship keys now!"

"I'm telling you, the whole village has been reborn! Even Ronald, who died in the tsunami in our past life, is alive again!"

My heart skipped a beat.

The whole village reborn?

These scumbags were all reborn too?

"Kevin, your cruise ship has been taken over by the village!"

"Hand over the keys right now. For the sake of family, I'll still give you a lower deck cabin!"

"And I won't hold it against you for hiding food and not feeding us properly in the last life."

Philip's face looked friendly, but his hand was weighing a wooden stick.

The other villagers behind him chimed in,

"Hand it over! Or we'll kill you today!"

"Right! That ship belongs to the whole village, not just you!"

Looking at their entitled faces, I actually laughed.

In my past life, the only reason I saved them was because I was bound to a "Savior System."

To complete that damn ultimate mission, I had no choice but to save these ungrateful people.

But thank God.

When I opened my eyes in this life, the system had upgraded.

The "Savior System" became the "Apocalypse Terminator System."

In this life, I will never spare these ungrateful people another glance!

Seeing me laugh, Jasper thought I was being defiant and raised his iron rod to hit me.

"You don't know what's good for you!"

"Stop!"

An angry shout came from the back of the crowd.
