Chapter 3 : They Are Dangerous

Chapter 3: They Are Dangerous

Sophie

“Excuse me?” The blond said in his deep and silky voice, almost musical but with a rough undertone to it. I fixed the glasses on my bottom nose, he was wearing glasses too but he looks better than I ever could. His face was a combination of hard lines like the two men on either side of him. He was tall and built and I knew who he was, who they were.

They were the Rizzo’s and they own the city. The dangerous triplets and they were the three men who had been tormenting me in my dream. How bad could today be?

“W..” I bit my lip, my cheeks heating up at my stutter. I opened my mouth to ask them what they would like to order but the man on the right saved me from any further embarrassment. His amusement had disappeared and replaced by something softer.

“Breath,” he ordered, his voice was rougher than the first man. Tattoo trailed up his neck, a flicker of them peeking out from behind his cuffs.

He looked like a man who you would expect to stab someone while smiling at them. He looked like an angel, he seemed like the devil and he was also intimidating like his brothers. I looked down and took a few deep breaths, trying to get myself together.

“That is it,” the oldest of the triplet said, his voice husky and deep. It was almost quiet but as attention grabbing as his brothers. I looked up at him through my lashes, he had his shoulder length hair up in a messy ponytail and a strand coming over his forehead. His nose was a little crooked, like his other two brothers. He looked like a businessman, a man you would expect would strike up a deal you can't refuse and process to take you down in the most ruthless, intelligent way possible. I bit my lip.

“W..what would you like to order?” I felt like an idiot. I was an idiot. I could have sworn their eyes went down before the second triplet, Lorenzo answered, amusement returning to his voice.

“Three Red Eyes.” I gulped, nodding before pressing their order on the screen. I knew their name but should I ask?

“Rizzo,” Angelo said, saving me. He gave me a smile which looked all wrong on his face as if he wasn't used to it.

“Just right Rizzo and we will wait.” I nodded, knowing I should have said thank you but I could already barely speak.

I had heard things about them, bad things. That they were in the mafia, one of the most dangerous mafias in the world in the country and they were friends with the Santoro, The Shadow Syndicate which had a ruthless reputation. They are gorgeous men and danger always comes well dressed.

Their order came, I called out to them. Adriano and Luciano walked up to me, I handed them the cups and my fingers brushing with theirs, and sent sparks all over my body. I bit my lip, feeling the tender skin and avoiding their piercing eyes on me . I tried my best to focus on the other customers, yet I could feel them watching my every movement. For some reason, it was sending heat down my pussy that I couldn't stop pressing my thighs together.

A week went by and I survived the cafe, much to Susan’s surprise. It was a challenge and my stutter was bad with new people, I could barely speak sometimes. Some people made fun of me, I cried it out on Sarah’s shoulder but I pushed through and tried to make my stutter less. I would lie if I said that I had expected Susan to throw me out because of my stutter but instead, she snapped at everyone who made fun of it. She was kind, as kind as she was mean which is powerful. The triplet never visited the cafe again and for some reason, that made me feel bad. I don't know why but something inside me wishes to see them again. They are dangerous men and no match but I wanted to feel the soft skin again. Stop drooling, Sophie. Stay away from them, they radiate danger.

I walked out of Anatomy class, dragging my feet as I read the text message Sarah had sent to me.

‘I am waiting.’ I sighed.

I was so tired. Working in the cafe was tiring and yesterday I got hit by inspiration in the middle of the freaking night and painted till five in the morning and then woke up at ten for my first class.

‘I am coming.’ I replied.

I promised to see her and I couldn't ditch her. I pocketed my phone and walked out of the building before I could get the heck off the campus, I heard someone call out my name. I looked over my shoulder to see professor Alinco approaching me. His hair styled in a perfection, his thin body covered in a black suit and his eyes fixed on me.

“Hello, Miss. Taylor.” I smiled at him.

“H..hello, professor.”

I cursed myself internally. I knew him, why was I stuttering? His intense gaze always makes me nervous, maybe it was his handsomeness. Everyone has a crush on him. He smiled back at me.

“I wanted to talk to you about the paper you submitted yesterday.” I frowned.

“D..did I do something wrong?” I asked, my fingers fiddling together. He shook his head.

“No, nothing is wrong. I..”

I felt an arm on my shoulders. Sarah smiled at me, her hair in a ponytail and body covered with a leather jacket.

“Let's go, Sophie.” She said, looking at the professor and I looked at him too.

“I actually have to…” he shook his head, cutting me off.

“Go,” he said, glaring at Sarah.

“We will talk some other time.” He walked away. We both walked out of the campus.

“Were do you want to go?” She asked as she stopped a taxi. I shrugged.

“Anywhere.”

We were laying in the central park beside each other.

“Life sucks.” She muttered.

“Hmm,” I knew it sucked. I rolled onto my stomach and opened my book.

“How was your job?” She asked. Sarah worked multiple jobs too.

“I want to murder everyone in the damn cafe.” I chuckled.

“Do it then.” We both laughed together.

It was late and I knew it. It was freaking late to me walking in the dark, I cursed myself for forgetting my phone at home. I always took a taxi, that was the only thing I used my mother's money for but I couldn't do that today. My black jacket was on my shoulders and I knew I would look like a target to anyone and I was a little scared. I pushed my glass back from the tip of my nose and I kept walking on the sidewalk. I lived in a small studio apartment. It was my second year in the University and life has been good so far

Just when I was about two blocks away from my apartment, I heard someone footsteps following me.
