Miriam pulled out her phone as she sat next to Alpha Kevin. She quietly texted my sister as Alpha Kevin mind linked his pack members and the security team of the new development.

Miriam: Hey! Sis, you will never believe what just happened to me while I was watching this game.

Tamar: What?

Miriam: I just had my first kiss and it was fire!

Tamar: What? Explain now.

Miriam:Sis! This is bananas, but I think I just met my fate mate, Alpha Kevin Richards of the Misty Mountain Pack. He grabbed me and kissed me. He announced I was his mate a few minutes ago here at the game. He told me to text you. He'll bring me home after pizza so we can all talk. Everyone is still planning to go eat pizza after the game.

Tamar: What the ****? That's crazy! Do you feel anything?

Miriam: Nothing like what you described when you first met Landon, but he is hella fine. So far, he has been nice to me. But, Sis! I want to stay with you and see where this goes till I do feel the sparks. I want those sparks. I want to discover for myself. I don't want to be robbed of that experience, Sis. Do I sound crazy?

Tamar: No! Absolutely not! Don't worry! I got you! It'll be okay! It's okay to not want to go with him until you can feel them yourself. He will have to court you until you do feel a bond.

They ended the text.

Quickly, Tamar mind links her mate, Beta Landon," Where are you?"

"Walking into the dining hall with Alpha River so we can have dinner here tonight to meet our twice-a-week requirement. Why? What's up? Is everything okay, Love? " probed Beta Landon nervously.

"Everything is okay, but we have a new development to discuss. I'm going to have your mom and your father watch the twins, and I'm on my way. Tell Alpha River, I'm coming to dinner too!" answered Tamar excitedly. She knew her husband was going to freak out. He took his job as big brother seriously concerning her little sister.

"OK! Now, I'm curious! See you soon." Landon responded, ending the mindlink.

"What's up old friend?" asked Alpha River.

"My mate is on the way. She wants to talk to us." informed Landon giving that I am not sure what about look.

"I hope it's good news." voiced Alpha River, nodding his head.

"I know right, just remember Amanda and Jeannie will be gone by Monday of next week. Then, peace and quiet." conveyed Landon in a reassuring tone to his best friend.

They had been throwing fits ever since they were informed they were leaving for boarding school. As they walked into the dining hall, they caught Amanda kissing a male guard by the name of Marcus. They quickly separated from each other and went in different directions.

Once Alpha River was at the table sitting down to eat, he asked his sister in front of Beta Landon and the whole Gamma family.

"Amanda is Warrior Marcus your mate?" demanded Alpha River.

After looking around a little frustrated, she finally said "No!"

"I could have sworn I said to stay the **** away from anybody that isn't your mate until you're 18 years old, was I not clear?" growled Alpha River in anger and frustration with his little sister.

"I will dry up and die if I do that! I like dick! River, stop acting like me, liking it is a crime or a death sentence. This is 2024, not the 1800's for Goddess' sake." countered Amanda.

"You will not run around like a whore or a slut on my watch?" declared Alpha River as Beta Tamar greeted everyone and sat at the table.

"Well, everyone can't be perfect, like Miriam the walking virgin nun and resident nerd. Who can do no wrong?" proclaimed Amanda, filled with hostility.

"I'm glad my sister's nonexistent sex life is interesting to you. Maybe you will pay attention enough to learn to keep your damn legs closed and stop embarrassing your family and your pack little girl." voiced Tamar.

"Go to hell!" shouted Amanda.

"Make me, cumbucket! You feeling groggy leap! I promise you shit is real different over here. You don't want these problems, cumbucket." shouted Tamar, standing up ready to fight.

"Stop! Calm down! Have a seat! Don't argue with her, My Love. What did you want to talk about sweetheart? Just ignore her. Is Miriam having fun at the game?" asked Beta Landon, trying to change the subject. He knew anything to do with her sister would do the trick. Miriam was always a safe topic and drama-free. Hopefully, he prayed that Amanda would drop it.

Tamar took a few minutes to compose herself. Because she really wanted to fuck, Amanda up, who was sitting across the table from her and punched her lights out.

However, instead she sweetly smiled at her husband and said," Yes! She is having a ball with her new friends. However, it seems Miriam caught the eye of Alpha Kevin Richards. While at the game, a few minutes ago. He grabbed her and kissed her and announced she was his mate. He asked her to text me. He plans to bring her home after the pizza so we can all talk." conveyed Tamar excitedly.

"What the **** ? You are joking, right?" screamed Amanda.

"Not that I was talking to, but I'm quite serious!" stated Tamar, rolling her eyes at her.

"She can't **** have him. I want him!" shouted Amanda about to have a full-on temper tantrum at the top of her lungs.

"Calm down! Be quiet! You're 15 years old, not 18 years old. You don't even have your own wolf, yet." declared Alpha River.

"So I don't care! I want him!" countered Amanda.

Everyone in the dining hall was now quiet and totally fixated on their conversation.

You could hear a pen drop as everyone focused on them to see how this would unfold.

"Miriam just turned 16 years old. She can't even tell yet. If he is indeed her mate. Did she say if she felt anything for him?" inquired Landon nervously.

"Miriam said she doesn't feel anything. Therefore, she would like to remain with us until she turns eighteen. She wants to feel the matebond for herself and not be robbed of discovering it for herself." conveyed Tamar.

"Now, that's some stupid shit! She has got a fine-ass-rich Alpha that wants her, but she wants to stay here in order to feel some damn tingles on her own. That's the stupidest **** I have ever heard. I thought she was supposed to be the smart one." yelled Amanda.

"I really think she was dropped on her damn head as a baby, Alpha River. You really need to get Amanda a complete check-up from the pack's doctor. She can't be this way naturally-"

"Go To Hell! Go To Hell!" shouted Amanda, cutting Tamar off.

"Make me, Bitch! If you feeling froggy, leap. I bet you won't keep talking to me like I'm not an adult, and you're a child. I swear for the Goddess! I am going to punch you dead in your throat and make you have some respect for your Elders. Keep talking to me like I am your peer and I promise you, your ancestors are going to feel this ass whipping." growled Tamar as she fought for control with her wolf.

"Stop it! Both of you ladies! I look forward to meeting with Alpha Kevin at your home later. I think Miriam's waiting is a great idea. Plus, I heard a rumor that he was engaged. So we must remember to ask about that as well." voiced Alpha River, hoping he wouldn't have to sedate his Beta-female again. Tamar was stronger than him. Alpha River was a Beta by Blood. He had only become Alpha because the previous Alpha died before he had any pups.
