Chapter 16

Before long, the drinks were served. After playing rock-paper-scissors for a while, several girls suggested going to the dance floor to dance.

Dancing in a bar is essentially a way for women to freely showcase their graceful figures, inviting a group of hormone-driven men to seek out potential partners for the evening.

Yet in the unique setting of a bar, no one even thought this was wrong.

Since the girls in my class have already given in completely, how could the boys not follow suit?

Even Alan Yager was drawn into the dance floor by the vibrant presence of Gail Lanley and began moving along with her.

After about half an hour, the atmosphere at Night Color Bar gradually grew lively.

While Ron Porter and his companions were still immersed in the dance moves accompanied by alcoholic riddles, they suddenly heard a loud clapping sound coming from the corner of the bar.

Following that came a male voice filled with vulgar remarks.

You stinking bitch! I asked you to keep me company at the drinking party out of respect for you. And yet you still dare not show me any courtesy!

Believe it or not, I stripped you naked in front of everyone!

In specific venues like nightclubs, incidents of bullying and domination are all too common.

However, the likelihood of encountering such a situation on occasion is quite low.

So Ron Potter and the others, who had just been dancing in the dance floor, rushed toward the scene as if they were merely spectators.

Alan Yegel followed suit, but not merely to spectate—he was actively addressing the matter.

After all, he is the person in charge of Night Color Bar himself.

Now someone is causing trouble at their own venue—if not handled properly, things could escalate. Gail Lanley is right there nearby; who knows if she might go and spread malicious rumors about Lauren Lanley.

At first, everyone only heard his voice but did not see him.

Only when he approached the scene did Alan Yegel realize that the troublemaker at the bar was actually a bald, burly man.

The seat he occupied was that of a regular singer at the Nighttime Bar.

The innocent girl sitting in the standing section, head bowed and covering her delicate face, is undoubtedly the victim of this incident.

Seeing so many people gathered around him, the bald man didn't show any sign of displeasure; instead, he felt like he'd gained quite a few new fans.

The arrogance of a man disguised as a woman is even more blatant.

Immediately, he saw him grab an empty wine bottle from the seat in front of him; with a loud thud, it shattered halfway at the corner of the table.

Then, as if wielding a sharp sword, it pointed directly at the innocent woman.

Now I'm giving you two choices: stay with me for one night, or I'll take drastic action!

Faced with the bald man's threat, the innocent girl could no longer contain herself; she lowered her delicate hands and shouted at him in anger for his stubbornness.

Even if I die, I won't be with a scum like you!

The moment the innocent girl let go of her hand, Alan Yegel finally understood why the bald man had caused such a commotion and insisted on having her stay with him for the night.

The woman had a flawless appearance, with lustrous black hair as smooth as black silk.

Her bright eyes still glistened with faint tears, giving her an utterly pitiful appearance.

Even so, the bald man still couldn't tolerate her publicly refuting him in public.

You stupid woman... I think you're just asking for death!

With a sharp, mocking laugh, the bald man raised the half-filled bottle in his hand and was about to strike the other person's delicate face.

Just as the sharp edge of that name was about to cut across the face of the innocent girl...

Only then did the bald man realize his arm was only half raised in the air, making it impossible to strike anything.

To his surprise, a powerful hand suddenly appeared on his wrist. Like iron clamps, it left him completely unable to move forward or backward.

Love between men and women is inherently a matter of mutual consent! Forcing it would likely be inappropriate.

When he saw Alan Yeger suddenly standing in front of the woman, the bald man was initially taken aback. Then, as if discovering something intriguing, he gave a cruel grin.

You wretch—you can't even deny that you're a real troublemaker! But someone is willing to risk their life as your personal protector.

You little brat, I'm telling you to let go right away. Otherwise, I'll kill you!

To the bald man, Alan Yager was nothing more than a reckless young man driven solely by sheer determination. There were ten thousand ways to kill him.

Just as the two were locked in confrontation, another utterly arrogant voice emerged from the dance floor.

My friend, this man named Alan Yager is someone I brought along! If you dare harm him in the slightest, don't blame me for being unfriendly.

As soon as those words were spoken, everyone's attention turned toward Ron Potter.

None of his old classmates, including Gale Lanley, understood.

Why has Ron Porter, who previously stood in opposition to Alan Yager, now stepped forward to help him out?

In fact, for Ron Porter, the idea was particularly simple.

Helping Alan Yager now not only demonstrates your generosity, but also gives you the perfect opportunity to show off a bit.

After all, I've already mentioned that he knows the person in charge of the Night Color Bar.

The entire series of actions served a single purpose: to make a grand impression on Gail Lanley.

No woman can resist a strong man. Ron Porter was convinced that once he achieved this, Gail Lanley would undoubtedly fall into his arms.

By this point, the bald man's wrist was already in severe pain from being gripped by Alan Yager's fingers—each as rigid as five steel bars.

It was sheer agony to hear another blindfoted individual suddenly appear, trying to show off by stepping on me—my reaction was immediate: I exploded in anger.

What the hell are you, some kind of idiot, trying to get me to give you any respect?

Upon hearing this, Ron Potter smiled gently.

You may not give me any respect, but you absolutely cannot fail to honor Brother Meng at this Night Bar!

Let me tell you, I have a bond of life and death with Brother Meng.

"Those who don't want to die, just get out!"

Upon hearing Ron Porter's words, the bald man was momentarily stunned, then, ignoring the pain in his wrist, burst into a wild "hahaha" laugh.

"Brother Meng, it's William Evans."

Alright, I'll check out William Evans—what can he do to me?

The situation now appears to be evolving into something akin to the conflict between Ron Potter and The Bald Man.

Since someone was determined to stand out, Alan Yager naturally wouldn't stop them.

As soon as he let go, he saw the bald man taking out his phone with a mocking expression on his face.

"Hey, William Evans! I'm right here in your place now, and I heard someone's trying to get you to teach me a lesson!"

As soon as the bald man finished speaking, Alan Yegel heard William Evans's familiar voice coming from the other end of the phone.

"My place?" Oh, you mean the Night Color Bar.

"What's wrong, Baldie? You caused a scene at the venue, and yet no one else came to confront you?"

When William Evans first received the call, he was momentarily stunned. Only later did he realize that no one along the entire pedestrian street knew the person in charge of the Nighttime Bar wasn't himself anymore.

The "other person" he mentioned was none other than Alan Yager.

hearing William Evans's question, the bald man replied without hesitation.

I've run into a little problem—someone's actually asking your brother to deal with me!

To be fair, the blame lies with the bald man for failing to clarify his position. Based on the context, William Evans concluded that Alan Yager was not present at the venue.
