Chapter 5
"Duff Klein, who was outside, heard Andre Winston's agonized scream from inside and immediately rushed in. Seeing the distressed Andre Winston, he was instantly overjoyed.
""Ha ha!! Alan Yegel, you're finished!! Do you even know who he is?! The eldest son of the Winston family!! You're finished!!""
Yet the smile on his face lasted only a moment before vanishing; his face turned pale, and he jumped up as if his tail had been trampled.
""Damn Alan Yager!! Are you going to kill the entire Klein family!!""
How could Alan Yegel care about the Klein family's feelings? He merely cast a cold glance at them and walked out the door with Bethel Klein still closed her eyes.
At that moment, the security personnel from Alberta Real Estate arrived. Seeing the aggressive demeanor of Alan Yeger, they couldn't help but take a step back.
""A bunch of garbage!!""
Duff Klein was shocked that none of the security guards dared stop Alan Yager; he cursed harshly and then pointed at Andre Winston lying on the ground, saying,
""Call 120 immediately!""
""Alan Yager, can I open my eyes?""
Leaving Alberta Real Estate Company, Belice Klein held Alan Yegel's clothes tightly and asked with trembling eyelashes.
Alright.
Seeing her frightened expression, Alan Yegel found it somewhat amusing.
Belleth Klein opened her eyes and saw that she had already emerged; she let out a sigh of relief, then her expression turned serious as she asked cautiously.
""Did you hit Andre Winston?""
""Well, I've broken both of his legs.""
Alan Yegel nodded and said.
“ you ……”
Despite all the speculation, Beth Klein never expected Alan Yager to go to such extreme lengths! Was this really the same timid man he usually was?!
But her initial surprise and curiosity quickly gave way to panic. She grabbed Alan Yeger's hand and exclaimed urgently, ""What now? If this happens, the Klein family's business will surely collapse, and I'll be driven out of it too!""
Do you care very much about the Klein family?
Alan Yegel asked.
Belleth Klein paused for a moment, then said angrily.
Alan Yager, what do you mean by that?! I don't care whether the Klein family can compete with the Reinsiger family; but without the money they provide, how will my father's medical expenses be covered?!
Don't worry; I've already assured you that my father is fine. Let's go to the hospital right away to pay for the surgery.
Alan Yegel, are you crazy?? Where did we get the money?! That's over one million dollars in surgical fees!!
When Bethel Klein heard what Alan Yegel said, she was both shocked and furious.
Seeing her in that state, Alan Yegel didn't intend to say anything more; he simply hailed a taxi and took her inside.
""Master, Seattle Hospital.""
Alan Yegel spoke a few words; the taxi driver responded and, within about ten minutes, brought the two people to safety.
""Hey, Ms.Klein, here you go again?""
As soon as the two entered the hospital, they encountered a greasy middle-aged male doctor who looked at Bethel Klein in surprise and said.
Hello, Dr. Müller; I have come to see my father.
Belleth Klein gave an awkward smile to her father's attending physician and said,
""Oh, your father's condition has stabilized; however, he must undergo surgery as soon as possible, otherwise...""
Dr. Muller said this, then glanced at Bethel Klein—indeed, her expression had changed, and a glimmer of joy flashed in her eyes.
Dr. Müller, you really need to come up with a solution!!
""Belleth Klein,"" she said urgently.
""Well, Ms.Klein, didn't I already suggest a solution?""
Dr. Müller cleared his throat and said with an ambiguous tone.
Belleth Klein's expression changed immediately.
Alan Yegel gave the doctor a cold glance and asked.
Where should I pay the fee? Please bring the bottom route.
Who are you?
Dr. Müller frowned.
""I am her husband.""
Before Beth Klein could even speak, Alan Yegel had already spoken.
""Oh!! I've long heard of your great reputation!""
Dr. Muller was taken aback for a moment, then wore an enlightened expression and couldn't help but laugh. He had done extensive research into Bethel Klein's background and had certainly heard of his son-in-law Alan Yeger's name.
I asked Mr.Alan Yager, ""After being a homemaker for so long, do you really speak without thinking?? Did the Klein family allocate funds to you? No way—how come someone from the Klein family even went to the hospital to arrange your discharge just the other day?""
If you ask me to show the way, I'll do so—why all the unnecessary talk?!
""Alan Yegel simply didn't respond at all,"" he said coldly.
“ you ……”
Dr. Müller's expression changed; he then let out a cold snort and turned away.
Follow me!! Over a million dollars... I'll see how you plan to pay it!
Upon arriving at the payment counter, Dr. Müller explained the situation to everyone. Only after the charges were calculated did he turn around and give Alan Yegel a mocking look.
Please, Mr.Xu.
Alan Yegel glanced at him and was about to step forward to pay the bill when Bethel Klein grabbed his clothes.
Alan Yager...
Don't worry, I really have the money.
Alan Yegel gently patted the back of her hand before she finally released it.
Dr. Muller watched this scene with an overwhelming sense of indignation. How could such a worthless man marry such a beautiful and delicate woman, while he, as the attending physician, was forced to deal solely with that elderly woman?! Hmph—if I can't provide financial support, let me see what you have to say!!
Scan the card.
Before the nurse could even speak, Alan Yegel immediately pulled out his card. The nurse accepted it with skepticism, swiped it, and then stood there wide-eyed in shock.
""Haha... Is it really this gentleman who's been boasting too much?""
Seeing the nurse's expression, Dr. Müller assumed she hadn't successfully swiped her card and couldn't help but laugh mockingly.
Have you finished swiping? Give me your card after you're done.
Alan Yegel ignored him and instead asked the nurse a question.
Scanned... Your card is scanned.
When the nurse came to her senses, she couldn't help but swallow hard, then respectfully handed the bank card to Alan Yeger.
“ what ?!?”
At this news, Dr. Müller's eyes widened dramatically as he shouted at the nurse.
What are you doing?! You're not being meticulous in your work. Believe me, I suggest the hospital dismiss you!
Dr. Müller, I've really finished reading it all.
The nurse, terrified by Dr. Mueller's expression, quickly showed him the POS machine. When Dr. Mueller took off his glasses and examined it closely, he was so shocked that he dropped them on the floor.
""Alan Yager, are they telling the truth?!
Beside her, Belissa Klein was also utterly stunned.
""Of course it's true—I told you that our dad would be fine.""
Alan Yegel said with a smile, then ignored Beth Klein who was standing there and turned his attention to the nurse.
Please inform your dean and request that the surgery be scheduled as soon as possible. For this, I will pay an additional 30% of the cost. Oh, by the way, the attending physician should not be the same person.
Alan Yegel pointed at Dr. Müller, whose face was pale as a sheet of iron, and said.
""Good... good.""
The nurse was utterly stunned by Alan Yeger's words and felt dizzy: ""Increase it by thirty percent! That amounts to several hundred thousand!""
Unfortunately, they all already have wives—and yet their wives are still so beautiful.
The nurse thought about it, turned to go tell the hospital director, but was stopped by Alan Yeger.
Additionally, I recommend that the hospital investigate Dr. Müller's case to determine whether there are any instances of corruption or bribery.
Alan Yegel, please stop making such offensive remarks!!
Dr. Müller's face turned pale, and he quickly said,
“ come on 。”
Alan Yegel gave Dr. Müller a casual glance, then left with Bethel Klein; afterward, he spent some time observing his future father-in-law during this lifetime alongside her before returning home.
""Alan Yager, where did you get all that money?""
Upon arriving home, Bethel Klein finally recovered from her shock and immediately pulled Alan Yager aside to ask him questions.
Actually, I bought a lottery ticket before and won a pretty good amount of money.
After some thought, Alan Yegel had no choice but to come up with this excuse—after all, they'd been living together all along, so it was really hard to invent any other reason.
""Is... that really the case?""
When she heard Alan Yager's explanation—both utterly absurd and yet completely plausible—Belleth Klein was at a loss for words.
Clang-clang-clang!!
At that very moment, a loud, forceful knock was heard outside the door.
Alan Yegel pressed Bethel Klein to his side as she stood up, a cold gleam flashing in his eyes. ""You came quite quickly,"" he said.
After saying that, he went over and opened the door.
""Are you Alan Yager?""
As soon as I opened the door, a man in a white suit stood there—his features strikingly similar to those of Andre Winston. He gave Alan Yager a sinister look and said something.
Behind him stood more than ten men armed with various weapons!!"
