LILA'S POV

Trapped between Alec and Kael on the dance floor was making it difficult to breathe.

And so I take off as soon as I begin to feel overwhelmed.

Not only by their presence but by all the eyes on us.

I run out through the back door, stopping by the pool just outside to catch my breath.
