Kidnapped

As I entered the house, I saw that the guards were all lying dead on the floor. I rushed inside . Things are scattered all over the floor. Many collectibles from across countries are all broken . Marcia will be so sad to see this.

What happened here ? How did Maria let this happen ?

Speaking of which, where is she? I looked around the house and no signs of her. Does she even know her house was ransacked?

I tried to contact her secretary to know her whereabouts as her mobile was switched off. But what she replied shook me to the core.

Marcia left the office almost two hours ago. It only takes 15 minutes for her to reach our home. I then walked towards her office room in our house.

I looked into every nook and corner carefully . I found her mobile near the flower pot of her desk. This means somebody kidnapped her. But how is it even possible?

She's an elementary wolf. It not easy to defeat her ,let alone take her. Tears rolled down my cheeks thinking about her. I wonder where they have taken her. Is she being tortured ?

The only person who loves me the most is now gone. What am I going to do? I need to find her .

She's my mom. With determination I called the werewolf council and told them about the situation . They arrived soon.

"No scent . But the place was thrashed. Marcia is definitely kidnapped by the vampires. They know how important she's for us." One of the council members said as he examined the entire house.

" I wonder what they want from her. After all these years ,why now?" I said as it didn't make any sense at all.

" They might have found about her being elemental wolf. " Another one injected. Maybe.

" aren't their king already knew this? Why wait till now to capture her?"The other one stated his opinion.

" I want my mom back. Tell me how we get her back?" I have had enough of these useless information.

" Erin, if it's vampire king who is involved in this, I am afraid we have to let go of Marcia. He is brutal and ruthless. Who knows he might have killed her by now." Another council member said , causing me to slam him into the nearby wall.

" How dare you?That's my mom . You're useless old pathetic werewolf. My mom did so much for our community and you don't even want to fight for her. Shame on you! I want her or else i myself kill all of you ." I yelled at them angrily.

" we will lodge a formal complaint at the Supernaturals council and see what can be done . We can negotiate with the vampires. " The elders said and then increased my security.

They left soon after leaving me alone. I then remembered Marcia telling me about some secret locker in my room. Maybe it has some valuable information about her kidnap.

I rushed to my room and then moved my cupboard.

I then removed the tile fixed below it. After clearing the cement, I found a tiny silver box below it.

I looked around and then took it with me. I walked out from my house to the coffee shop I worked. Luckily Zara was still there.

" Zara, can I stay with you for tonight?" I asked her as She was looking at me keenly.

" I found out about my boyfriend's cheating. He humiliated me and I made his family to go bankrupt. But it still hurts. " I said as a few tears rolled down my cheeks.

" So, finally you came back to your senses. He is not worth the tears you spill for him." She hugged me and rubbed my back gently." It's ok, Erin . Let it out. I am here. " She gently spoke in my ears causing me to broke down .

I cried again and again.

I cried for letting myself fooled by Josh.

I cried for my lost love.

My love is real even if his wasn't.

I cried for my mate. He left me without even asking for my explaination.

I cried for Marcia. My mom. My everything. She's my pillar of strength. She is gone too.

No , she was taken away from me. She will be expecting me and the werewolves community to come and save her.

How can these old cowards call themselves elders and pledged to protect the werewolves community when they can't even fight for the elemental wolf who did so much for them.

" Zara, I am not human like you! I am a half vampire and half werewolves." I said to Zara when we reached her apartment. I never told her about my real situation.

" I know. That's why I am not too worried when you dated that scumbag for I knew that you will find your mate one day and these feelings doesn't matter. " She replied not even shocked by my revelation. She knows already.

" But how?" I asked as we entered inside her apartment.

" I know because I am a hunter. I hunt rogue werewolves and Vampires who cause trouble in the neighbourhood. My father is a legendary hunter. Kyle Smith. I am his only daughter and I live alone as he never returned from his last mission. " She replied as she went inside to change.She returned with a pair of clothes and handed it to me.I took it and changed my dress .

" what was his mission?" I asked her as I was a bit curious.

" it was a decade ago when the war was going on. He was given the task to hunt both the vampires king Alfonso Mikhael and then alpha king Alexander Montana, your father.

After the peace treaty was signed , both your father and mine went missing. Never to be found again. When I grew up and of age ,I took over my father's job. I tried to find out about what happened to them. But sadly ,I couldn't.
