Erin's POV:

Zara took a pack of beers and then ordered  us some chicken from KFC. After setting  it all down on the table in her bedroom,  we both sat on the bed and took a beer can each.

" Marcia. My mom. She's gone too." I sobbed again after telling her about how this one day changed my entire life.

" These stupid  elders aren't  willing to take any step against  that Alfonso. They're  scared out of their minds. " I said as I took a sip .

" and to make this day even worse,  I actually  met my mate." I said slurring a bit.

" oh, at last something good." She quipped.

" No, he was the worst among them all. He insulted  me and said I  didn't even bother  to wait for him." I added angrily  as I  finished my beer and took another can.

" I  am still a Virgin,  you know." I cried as i I  remembered how he spoke .

" it was him who never showed up for any gathering or party the elders  organized over these years. Now he dare to accuse me. You know what , I am  done with love and men. I hate everything and everyone  at the moment. " I  said and gulped  seeing Zara's eyebrows.

" not you. Not Marcia. It's them." I said as I took another can. She just shook her head.

" I am confused now,Erin. As far as I know, Alpha Nick is a kind , good person who always helps others. He was cold but not bad. He cares for his people, you know.  I wonder why he hates you and then vanishedthe next moment.  If he actually hate your existence,  why did he save you and didn't reject you? " She said causing me to look at her in shock.

" You know him?"

" Ofcourse , I know him. I fact, He is one of my very good friend. I helped him in hunting a lot of rogue werewolves as he can't follow the elders and their dumb laws. I am quite an important person in this city. People actually respect me. I even met your mom twice ." She boosted herself.

" Ok. Miss Powerful,  Do you by any chance know where Vampire king lives in?" I asked her.

" I know but  I am not telling you. It's like walking into your own death. " She said as she sat next to me with her hand around me.

" I know how you're feeling right now. But still don't make any harsh decision. You're very rare and in demand. They will tear you apart. "

" I am aware of the danger I might be in as a hybrid for a long time . But this time,  I have to go. I can mask my scent and I feel more powerful after I got in touch with my wolf . So it won't be a problem to sneak into the Vampire king's mansion. My wolf Essence will help me. All I am asking you is to help me. Please for our friendship sake. " I asked her while having hard time controlling my tears.

You're more powerful then you think . I am not an ordinary wolf. Marcia  is fine. They won't kill her until they get what they looking for. Elixir of immortality.

Essence said.

I couldn't control my tears knowing that Marcia is in danger and with every passing time, the danger increases. I don't know how they torture her.

" I rather die then live without her. She's the integral part of me. If I was kidnapped, she would've come." I said as I stood up.

" Ok. I will take you there tomorrow. Now , go and try to sleep a little." Zara told and left me in the guest room. I don't know when sleep took over me.I woke up the next morning only to see Zara all dressed up.

" Once you get ready, we will leave ." She said and went to the living room. I got ready myself in a record time and We started from her apartment to go to the vampire king Alfonso's mansion.

Alfonso is the most powerful and feared ruthless vampire in the whole World. His hatred towards werewolves is a well known one.It's still a miracle that he haven't attacked werewolves again and is respecting the peace agreement.Soon we reached the territory of the vampires.

" Here , always wear this chain. It has GPS. I can track you down and help you in case of emergency. I can't accompany you as they will suspect if we two go together." Zara handed me a simple chain with crescent moon shaped pendant. I took it and wore it around my neck and made my way to the huge mansion situated in seven miles. I got down and ran fast with my vampiric speed. Within no time, I was in front of the mansion shocking myself. I didn't feel exhausted like before.

Third Person's POV:

Nicholas Knight , otherwise known as Alpha king Nick in the supernatural community is a force to reckon with. He is the most powerful werewolf alive as his lineage is of royal werewolves. He is the alpha of the moonlight pack.

" Alpha , Erin just stepped inside the territory of vampires. Her mother got kidnapped by Vampire king Alfonso yesterday. She followed her there ." A spy said.

Nick appears to be least interested in this information but his heart was pounding hard at the thought of his mate in danger. But he couldn't do anything.It's best if she hates him and stay away from him.

He knows she's innocent and her boyfriend cheates on her. But still he doesn't want her. His wolf is yearning for their mate for a long time given their immortality.

Nick said to his whimpering wolf.

" Keep an eye on that girl . Let me know if she does something crazy ." Nick said to his most trusted spy Liam. Though he can't be with her, he sworn that he will always be there for her.

" Alpha, if you don't mind me asking why are we spying her? Is she a threat? " He asked his alpha.

" Just do what I say." He said coldly and walked away. His mobile rang. He attended the call.

" I gave her the pendant you gave me." Nick immediately put on his AI glasses and was frozen in shock.
