Chapter 2 2
Daisy sat curled up on the narrow bed, her knees pulled tightly against her chest as she stared at the lifeless stone walls surrounding her. She had lost count of how many days she had been trapped inside the room, but she knew it had been at least a week. Every morning looked exactly like the last.
The tiny window barely let in enough sunlight to brighten the room, and the cold air clung to the walls as if it had settled there years ago. There was nothing to do except think.
She let out a shaky sigh and hugged herself tighter, wishing for anything that would break the silence. She would have settled for a walk through the courtyard or even a few minutes outside to feel the warmth of the sun on her skin. Instead, she was left alone with memories that refused to leave her alone.
Every time she closed her eyes, she saw the same terrifying moment replaying over and over again.
Lorenzo had entered the room without saying a word, his heavy footsteps echoing across the stone floor until he stopped directly in front of her. His face had been unreadable, but his eyes… she had never seen eyes so cold. They looked empty, as though every ounce of kindness had been ripped out of him years ago.
She instinctively reached for the door behind her, hoping to put even the smallest amount of distance between them, but he caught her before she could move.
“You belong to me now,” he had said quietly. “Your father spent years stripping innocent people of their freedom. Now you’ll learn exactly what that feels like.”
The words still echoed in her mind. She had wanted to scream at him, slap him across the face, tell him he had no right to treat her this way. Instead, she swallowed every angry word because she knew it would only make her situation worse.
A shiver ran through her body as her fingers brushed against the leather around her neck. She had met cruel people before, but nothing compared to the hatred she had seen inside Lorenzo’s eyes.
The hardest part was knowing he had every reason to hate her family. She hadn’t been the one who started the war or ordered innocent people to suffer, but she couldn’t pretend she hadn’t benefited from it. Only a week ago, she had been Princess Daisy of Maldonia. Everywhere she went, servants rushed to open doors for her, nobles bowed their heads, and soldiers stood guard outside her chambers day and night. Her father adored her more than anything in the world. He rarely let her out of his sight and made sure everyone understood that anyone who dared disrespect his daughter would answer to him. Daisy had grown up believing that kind of protection was love. She had never questioned the fear her father’s name put into other people.
Now everything she had ever known had vanished. Her father was dead, the kingdom had fallen, and the palace that had once been her home belonged to another king. The servants who used to greet her with smiles now avoided looking at her altogether. The expensive gowns, sparkling jewels, and royal titles no longer mattered. None of them could unlock the door that kept her trapped inside this freezing room. As she wrapped her arms around herself once more, Daisy realized that the life she had always taken for granted was gone forever, and the man who now ruled the kingdom intended to make sure she never forgot it.
The sound of footsteps and clanking chains drew Daisy’s attention to the cell door. It opened, and a bodyguard entered, carrying a tray of food. Daisy’s stomach growled; hunger pangs reminded her that this was her first meal since morning, and it now suspiciously seemed like evening.
“Here’s your food, your majesty.” The guard said in disgust. Everyone here hated her; Daisy knew it. She raised her chin defiantly, remaining silent. “The king will arrive in a few hours. Be ready to receive him,” he announced before departing.
I can’t help rewrite or strengthen scenes that eroticize or intensify sexual abuse or coercive sexual violence.
If your goal is simply to remove plagiarism while keeping the same pacing, I can absolutely rewrite it by shifting the focus to psychological intimidation instead of sexual assault. Here’s a version that preserves the flow and power dynamic without the explicit abusive sexual content.
Fear settled heavily in Daisy’s chest. She had spent the last week hoping he would never return, but deep down she knew that was impossible. Sooner or later, the man who had taken everything from her would walk through that door again. She just wasn’t ready to face him.
Nearly two hours later, as the last rays of sunlight faded beyond the narrow window, the silence outside her room finally broke. Heavy footsteps echoed down the corridor, followed by a voice announcing, “Your Majesty has arr—”
“Don’t call me that, Chevon.”
The interruption came sharp and emotionless, the familiar voice sending a chill racing down Daisy’s spine. It wasn’t loud, but it carried enough authority to silence the hallway instantly.
“My apologies,” Chevon answered at once. “It won’t happen again.”
The rattle of chains echoed through the corridor before the lock turned. A second later, the heavy wooden door swung open. Only one man stepped inside. Whoever had escorted him remained outside as the door shut with a heavy thud, sealing them alone together once more.
The room suddenly felt much smaller.
Daisy slowly lifted her head until her gaze met his. Hatred burned in her eyes, but it was nothing compared to the emptiness staring back at her. Lorenzo stood motionless, broad-shouldered and imposing, carrying himself with the confidence of a man who expected the world to move at his command. She knew he was thirty-five, yet there was something timeless about him. Even when her father had reduced him to a prisoner years ago, he had never looked defeated. No matter how many times he had been humiliated, there had always been something undeniably regal in the way he carried himself.
Neither of them spoke.
The silence stretched between them like a drawn blade. Daisy searched his face for the slightest trace of humanity, but found none. A jagged scar crossed one side of his face, making his already intimidating features even harsher. His expression remained unreadable, yet his eyes told another story. They weren’t simply angry. They carried years of resentment that had hardened into something much darker.
Without warning, he closed the distance between them. He reached out, letting his fingers brush through her pale blond hair before wrapping his hand around it. Pain shot across her scalp as he pulled her head back, forcing her to meet his gaze. Daisy bit back a cry, refusing to give him the satisfaction of seeing her break.
“When I enter this room,” he said quietly, “you will stand, and you will acknowledge me. You will not sit there staring at me as though we’re equals.”
His grip tightened just enough to make her wince.
“If you choose to ignore that,” he continued, “I’ll remind you.”
Daisy swallowed the lump in her throat and gave a small nod.
“Yes…” she whispered, her voice barely audible.
His eyes narrowed.
“Yes… what?”
She clenched her jaw, every word tasting like poison.
“Yes, Master.”
For a long moment, he simply watched her, as though weighing whether she truly meant it. Then he released her hair. Daisy stumbled back a step, rubbing the back of her neck while trying to hide the tears threatening to spill. She hated the title. She hated the humiliation. Most of all, she hated that she had spoken the word at all.
Lorenzo looked at her with the same icy detachment as before. “Good,” he said. “You’re beginning to understand that the rules have changed.”
Daisy said nothing. She only stared back, silently promising herself that no matter what he took from her, she would never let him take the last piece of who she was.
He released her almost immediately and stepped back, his face expressionless. Rising, he tore her flimsy top apart, exposing her naked breasts to his cold, unfeeling eyes.
Tears of humiliation choked Daisy’s throat. She grasped her tattered skirt, fighting the urge to cover herself with him.
His eyes remained fixed on her body. No flash of lust. Nothing. Instead, he knelt and palmed one breast—the one with the throbbing, red, abused nipple—and caressed about it. “Stand.”
She stood on unsteady legs, her eyes blurry as they stared at the ground.
“Chevon!” He barked.
She froze, attempting to distance herself to cover her state of undress, but the hand that held her breast tightened, preventing her movement—unless she wanted to risk more pain.
“Your Highness?” The large man entered, staring at his king.
“Take a good look at this whore, Chevon. Do you like what you see?”
Chevon’s eyes lingered on her body, and Daisy wished the ground would open and swallow her. But she stood defiantly, staring Chevon straight in the face.
Lust clouded Chevon’s eyes as he looked at her hungrily. “Can I touch?” He asked eagerly. Chevon glanced at the king again before leaving, and Daisy noticed a particular look in the man's eyes when he gazed at his king—not hate, no, not hate. But she couldn’t identify it.
“Guards!” The king called, but he didn’t raise his voice.
Two guards appeared. “Yes, Your Highness.”
His cold eyes never left Daisy. “Instruct the servants to bathe my whore once I’m finished here. Clean her and have her in my chambers in three hours.”
“Yes, Your Highness.” The guards were reluctant to leave because Daisy’s nudity captivated them.
Daisy focused on the king with anger and hate reflected in her teary eyes, defiance in her stance.
He finally released her breast. “I will harm you in ways that you will live with and crave pain. I will do everything you and your father did to me and my people, and more. I will share you with as many as I want, and I will train you to be the most obedient of dogs.”
The taste of fear was tangible on Daisy’s tongue, but she did not let it show on her face. She knew this would happen before he arrived.
His lips twitched, highlighting his scarred cheek. “I will fuck the shit out of you, Daisy. Break every confidence you have.”
“You can never break me, you devil!” The words tore from Daisy’s lips.
Her eyes widened because she was talking back to him. Slaves do not talk back to their masters or there would be punishment.
He was not disappointed. The king grabbed the chain of Daisy’s collar and yanked it forcefully, causing Daisy to cry out.
His eyes flashed. He tilted her chin up, his grip strong. “I love seeing so much fire in you because I am going to love dimming all of it. You have no idea what I will do to you; or maybe you do. After all, once upon a time you trained slaves.”
“My father trained slaves!” She almost screamed at him.
Pure hatred dripped from the king’s bitter words. “Your training begins tonight. You will be in my room and on my bed. Ass up, face down.”
