Chapter Four

Torrential rain poured down from the dilapidated rooftops.

Sophia maintained her arrogant demeanor, believing she controlled everything. In her mind, Fenrir, the Alpha White Wolf who had undergone a night of "Red Dust Storm" baptism and completed its initial mutation, was now an absolute god in this slum.

Fenrir seemed to sense its master's arrogance; it lowered its forequarters, a threatening rumble emanating from its throat, its eerie green eyes fixed on me, unleashing the bloodthirsty aura of a high-level mutated beast. It couldn't wait to tear me apart, to proclaim its power to the world.

"Laugh? You actually dare to laugh?" Sophia's smugness turned into a contorted expression of offense when she saw the curve of my lips. "Raine, haven't you come to terms with reality yet? Your low-down survival tricks of throwing poison gas canisters are a joke in the face of pure violence! Let Fenrir tear you apart like tearing a piece of paper!"

"Pure violence?"

I casually shoved the blood-stained military knife back into my tactical thigh strap, looking at the master and servant who were arrogant because of their ignorance, a deep pity in my eyes. "Sophia, your greatest folly is mistaking a puddle of mud at the bottom of a well for a vast ocean."

The moment my words fell, two extremely dazzling dark golden lightning bolts suddenly lit up in the thick darkness in front of me.

Those were the violent eyes of a Titan.

"Roar—Boom!!"

Without me even needing to give the order, Terra, who had long been impatient with the lowly white wolf's provocation, suddenly stepped out of the shadows! With a wild roar that could shatter human eardrums, like an ancient storm, its terrifying body, twice the size of a grown bull, was completely exposed to the light of lightning.

Ghastly white saber-toothed fangs, dark golden heavy armor, and deadly high-voltage arcs leaping wildly between the bone spurs on its back!

The instant Terra roared, the pure, outrageous pressure of the superior bloodline belonging to the SSS-class Thunder Titan Saber-toothed Tiger slammed into the white wolf opposite it like a tangible mountain.

Fenrir, who had just been so arrogant and poised to pounce, felt as if its spine had been broken by an invisible giant hammer. Its proud high-level mutation crumbled in an instant!

"Ugh—!" A shrill, desperate howl escaped the white wolf's throat. Its four legs convulsed violently under the mythical pressure, then it collapsed to the ground in the mud with a "thud." It didn't even have the courage to lift its head, incontinent, its whole body trembling violently like a sieve.

It was an extreme fear, a fear that came from the very depths of one's genes, a fear that came from the very bottom of the food chain, a fear that yearned for the pinnacle!

"This...this is impossible...what is this thing?!" Sophia's face turned deathly pale in an instant. Her hand, holding the gun, trembled uncontrollably, and she staggered backward. "Fenrir! Get up! Tear it apart, get up, you piece of trash!"

No matter how much she screamed, the once arrogant Alpha White Wolf now only dared to bury its head in the ground, begging for forgiveness.

I strode forward, stepping over the pieces of flesh on the ground, and walked step by step to Sophia.

"Don't come any closer! I'll shoot!" Her mind completely collapsed under extreme fear, and she frantically tried to pull the trigger.

"Too slow."

My left hand shot out like a vise, gripping her right wrist holding the gun tightly, and with a slight pull, "crack," her hand dislocated, and the Magnum pistol fell slumped into the puddle.

"You stole my life in your past life, and in this life you try to steal my power. Since that's the case, it wouldn't be right not to leave you a 'gift'." I looked down at her tear-streaked face, my voice like a chilling wind from hell.

My right thumb flicked open a glass tube no bigger than my little finger. Inside was a drop of my freshly purified, undiluted biochemical acid.

In Sophia's terrified pupils

, the drop of ghastly green liquid landed precisely on the back of her proud right hand.

"Sizzle—

"

"Aa ...

For this self-proclaimed ruler of the wasteland, letting her die here is too easy. I want her and that good-for-nothing white wolf to witness how I ascend to the supreme throne, and then, in my most desperate moment, crush them and that ridiculous throne together.

That's the ultimate purpose of the long-term "biological death trap" I placed inside her and the white wolf.

"Get out," I coldly uttered a single word.

Suppressing the excruciating pain and fear, Sophia dragged her completely useless right arm and scrambled into the depths of the slums. Fenrir, the white wolf whose legs had gone limp from Terra's terror, also tucked its tail between its legs and whimpered as it fled into the red rain.

The farce was over. The slums could no longer provide the high-purity radiation resources for Terra's second evolution.

I turned and mounted a heavy combat motorcycle I'd seized from the thugs, patting the sidecar: "Let's go, buddy, to a bigger hunting ground."

Terra let out a low growl and leaped into the sidecar. The engine roared through the red rain, the motorcycle transforming into a black lightning bolt, heading straight for the infamous "Iron Cavalry Expeditionary Force" base, a hundred kilometers outside the city. There lay the most advanced biochemical purification equipment and weaponry.

A few hours later, the rain subsided slightly.

My motorcycle finally came to a stop before the massive Sethon city wall, a steel behemoth stretching across the high ground.

But just as I was about to approach the outer gate,

"Whoosh—swish!"

In the darkness, a dozen infrared laser beams, carrying a chilling killing intent, like the gaze of death itself, densely intertwined, locking onto my brow, heart, and major arteries.

Above the massive city wall, a row of heavy exoskeletons, capable of tearing apart light tanks, slowly emerged from the shadows. A cold megaphone vibrated through the air:

"Those who transgress, lay down your weapons and sever the war beast's neurons. Otherwise, execute them on the spot!"
