Chapter 4

Evelyn immediately started struggling violently.

But the physical difference between men and women meant she had no way to break free from Benjamin's grip.

Just like that, under everyone's gaze, Evelyn was dragged out of the club by him.

The bumpy ride made her feel like throwing up several times.

Finally, she was brought to the underground parking garage.

The car door opened, and she was roughly thrown onto the back seat by Benjamin. Before the dizziness could fade, an aggressive body pressed down on her.

"I have sexual dysfunction?"

Benjamin's voice was low, carrying a hint of danger.

Evelyn pushed her hands against his chest, frowning as she scolded, "Benjamin, are you crazy!"

Her whole body was trapped in his embrace, his scent lingering at the tip of her nose, making her very uncomfortable.

Seeing the rejection on her face, a barely noticeable crack appeared on Benjamin's expression.

The next second, he undid his belt, tied Evelyn's wrists with it, raised them above her head, then leaned down, quickly closing the distance between them.

"I am a bit crazy."

Otherwise, how could he feel this urge to sleep with her under these circumstances?

Something seemed to be roaring wildly inside him, wanting to tear her apart and make her fulfill her wifely duties.

"Evelyn, don't forget, we're legally married. Whatever I do to you now is completely normal."

As his words fell, he freed one hand.

When the sound of a zipper being pulled rang out, Evelyn realized he wasn't joking and immediately said coldly, "Aren't you afraid your Amelia will be angry if you do this!"

Normally, whenever she mentioned Amelia's name, he would have stopped long ago.

But this time, he didn't.

His mind was full of Evelyn's disdainful look and that casual remark about "he has sexual dysfunction."

Maybe it was the atmosphere, or maybe it triggered some competitive instinct in him.

Either way, he didn't want to let go of Evelyn. His body's natural response was screaming that he wanted her.

But just then, a phone ringtone suddenly rang out.

Benjamin's movements came to an abrupt halt when he heard the ringtone.

A woman's sweet voice echoed through the car.

"Benjamin, answer the phone."

It was a custom ringtone recorded by Amelia.

His agitation seemed to be doused with cold water, disappearing without a trace in an instant.

Benjamin sat up, not forgetting to untie the belt binding Evelyn's wrists.

Evelyn also sat up and straightened her disheveled top. That piercing ringtone seemed to announce the joke that was her marriage.

In less than a minute, Benjamin was already fully dressed, showing no trace of his earlier state.

A self-mocking smile curved at the corner of Evelyn's mouth.

How could she describe this heartache?

Probably, the genuine feelings she'd spent three years cultivating, Amelia could get with just a casual wave of her hand.

"As expected," she suddenly spoke.

Benjamin paused while reaching for his phone and turned to look at her.

He saw Evelyn say sarcastically, "You really do have sexual dysfunction."

Her sharp words masked her heart, which was slowly beating with sadness because of him.

Benjamin's expression instantly darkened. "Shut up."

For a moment, it was unclear whether he was angry at Evelyn's remark or angry that she had interrupted him from answering Amelia's call.

Benjamin saw Evelyn just quietly watching him. He frowned and looked down to answer the phone.

Amelia's voice came through from the other end.

"Benjamin, where are you now? I want to come find you, okay?"

Her lively, spirited voice immediately softened the corners of Benjamin's eyes and brows.

Watching this scene, Evelyn's heart turned completely cold.

It wasn't that he couldn't learn to be gentle; it was just that this gentleness could never be shared with her, not even a little.

Benjamin's gaze and his response came simultaneously.

"Okay, come over. I'm at The Oasis Club's underground parking garage."

As his words fell, he hung up the phone.

Within ten minutes, Amelia appeared beside the car.

She wore a purple racing suit, but in a low-cut style. With just a slight lean forward, one could see her cleavage. The tight-fitting design perfectly showed off her great figure.

She seemed not to notice Evelyn at all, smiling as she linked her arm through Benjamin's, saying affectionately, "Benjamin, I want to practice racing, but the driver at home took the day off. Can you take me there?"

Her sweet tone and deliberately softened voice were enough to make any grown man unable to refuse.

Let alone Benjamin.

Evelyn was thinking this when she heard Benjamin's agreeing voice.

"Sure."

Of course, how could he refuse Amelia's request?

Evelyn smiled sarcastically. Outside the car window, Amelia was laughing happily, almost pressing her entire body against Benjamin, especially her chest tightly against his arm.

Benjamin's face remained impassive as he said gently, "Let's go, get in the car."

Amelia nodded and opened the passenger door to get in. After fastening her seatbelt, she turned to look at Benjamin in the driver's seat. Just as she was about to speak, her peripheral vision caught sight of Evelyn sitting in the back, and she couldn't help but cry out in surprise.

"Evelyn?" She seemed startled, taking a long time to recover from her shock. "What are you doing here?"

Evelyn quietly watched her, wanting to see how long she could keep up this act.

Clearly, when Amelia was outside the car earlier, her peripheral vision had been surveying the inside the whole time.

Moreover, from the phone call to Amelia's arrival was only ten minutes. If Amelia hadn't already known Benjamin's whereabouts, how could she have come so quickly?

Evelyn said mockingly, "I shouldn't be here, interrupting your romantic time together, right?"

After a pause, she continued earnestly, "But the person you were just holding onto is clearly my husband, your sister's husband."

Amelia was wearing such clothes, and saying she was going racing was just to get Benjamin's attention.

Amelia's true intentions had always been only for Benjamin.

How could she not see that?

After she finished speaking, the smile on Amelia's lips instantly froze.

And Benjamin, who had just fastened his seatbelt, frowned again. "Why are you saying these things?"

Evelyn laughed coldly. "Isn't it the truth?"

Benjamin's affair was already a done deal.

The one who should feel ashamed was never her.

Amelia also came to her senses at this moment. Her hands resting on her knees, clenched into fists, letting her long nails dig deep into her flesh, yet she seemed to feel no pain at all.

She raised her head again, her smile returning to its earlier sunny brightness. "Evelyn, you're overthinking. I'm looking for Benjamin for legitimate business."

Amelia changed the subject, sighing softly.

"I don't have your good fortune to marry Benjamin. You get to stay home every day, cook meals, and spend your free time getting beauty treatments and manicures, not having to worry about anything else. Not like me—I have to do everything myself."
