“This is getting ridiculous.”  

Roberto watched her. Not reacting.  

Just observing, like he was trying to understand what she was doing to herself.  

She turned her head toward him.  

“You were going to say it.”  

Roberto’s jaw tightened.“That doesn’t matter now...
