Chapter 4
The night was thick and dark. A black armored vehicle appeared on the streets of New York, moving forward steadily.
Inside the vehicle, Sophia was curled up on the seat, asleep under an oversized military coat.
Frank held a cigarette between his fingers, wisps of smoke rising from the burning tip.
"Lord, we're here," the Asura Warrior in the passenger seat spoke up.
Ahead, the Garcia Manor was brightly lit.
Tonight was the night when New York's top elite families, the Garcia family and the Miller family, were joining through marriage.
Frank pushed open the car door as the night wind caught the hem of his coat.
He stubbed out his cigarette in the car door ashtray and strode toward the manor gates.
"Who are you? Show us your invitation!" Two security guards reached out to stop him. Frank didn't even look at them.
The Asura Warrior behind him stepped forward with two heavy strikes, and both guards fell to the ground.
Frank pushed open the two heavy gold-plated doors of the banquet hall.
The sound of the doors opening drowned out the elegant classical music in the hall, and everyone turned to look toward the entrance.
In the center of the hall, Lisa, the Garcia family's daughter, stood there in a haute couture gown, her expression haughty.
Across from her, Wade Miller, the Miller family heir, held a wine glass with a smug look on his face.
Frank walked down the red carpet, step by step into the hall.
"Who are you? How did security let you in!" Zach Garcia, the Garcia family patriarch, frowned with displeasure.
Frank stopped ten paces from the main platform. He pulled out a card with gold-threaded edges and a dark red skull token from his pocket.
The black gold card and token immediately stuck firmly into the table on the main platform.
"The Starship Group, Supreme Black Gold Card!" A wealthy guest in the crowd cried out in shock.
Zach's pupils contracted sharply. He stared at the card and token, his breathing becoming rapid.
Wade let out a cold laugh and slammed his wine glass down on the table, "What kind of clown is this, daring to cause trouble at the Miller family and Garcia family's engagement party with a fake?"
"Would the heir of the Starship Group dress like such a poor loser? Security, throw him out and break all four of his limbs!"
More than a dozen burly security guards rushed out from all directions, charging at Frank.
Frank stood in place, one hand in his pocket.
The guard in front swung a heavy punch straight at Frank's face.
Frank raised his right hand, grabbed the man's wrist, and twisted it smoothly.
The guard screamed and fell to the ground. Frank moved swiftly through the crowd.
Each strike was accompanied by the sound of breaking bones. In less than ten seconds, all the guards were lying on the ground, wailing.
Wade's expression changed. He took a step back, his voice trembling with fear, "You dare touch me? My dad is the Miller family's..."
Before he could finish, Frank was already in front of him.
Frank reached out and grabbed Wade's right arm, "You talk too much."
Wade let out a scream. His entire right arm hung limply, and cold sweat soaked through his shirt.
"How dare you!"
An angry shout came from the second-floor viewing platform. Cade Miller, leaning on a cane, looked down at the hall with an extremely ugly expression, "You dare hurt my grandson Wade! Tyler, finish him!"
A middle-aged man in a suit leaped down from the second floor and landed steadily in front of Frank.
"It's Tyler, the underground boxing champion! The martial arts master recruited by the Miller family!" Someone in the crowd shouted.
Tyler cracked his neck, his joints making popping sounds, "Kid, you can fight pretty well, but in the face of absolute power, those fancy moves of yours..."
Before Tyler could finish, Frank moved.
He didn't take any fighting stance, just simply stepped forward and threw a right punch.
The punch made no sound cutting through the air, but it was incredibly fast.
Tyler's expression changed drastically as he crossed his arms in front of his chest to defend.
The fist struck Tyler's arms.
Tyler's proud defense instantly crumbled. Both arm bones shattered inch by inch. His entire body flew backward, knocking over three long tables in succession before slamming heavily into the wall, his fate unknown.
The entire venue fell silent.
The New York underground boxing champion, a martial arts master, knocked out with a single punch.
Cade's cane fell to the ground, his whole body trembling.
Zach swallowed hard, his gaze moving back and forth between Frank and the black gold card on the table. He suddenly hurried down from the main platform, a flattering smile spreading across his face, "A misunderstanding! This is all a misunderstanding!"
Zach rubbed his hands together, "You must be Mr. Carter's student, Mr. Moore?"
Frank looked at him coldly.
Zach wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and turned to shout at Lisa, "Lisa! Come over here and pay your respects to Mr. Moore. Years ago, I made this marriage agreement with Mr. Carter so you could marry Mr. Moore!"
He turned his head and explained in a low voice to the surrounding family members, "Years ago, our Garcia family was hunted by enemies. We only survived thanks to Mr. Carter's protection. This marriage agreement—we're the ones reaching above our station!"
The crowd immediately began whispering among themselves. The heir to the Starship Group—this identity was enough to make all of New York's elite families bow their heads.
Lisa stood in place, unmoving. Dressed in a white gown with exquisite makeup, she looked at Frank with arrogant eyes, sizing him up and down, a cold smile forming at the corner of her mouth.
"Grandfather, you want me to marry a brute who only knows how to fight?" Lisa's voice was cold, echoing through the hall. "He just got lucky becoming Mr. Carter's student. Without the Starship Group backing him, what is he?"
Zach's expression changed drastically, "Shut up! How dare you speak to Mr. Moore like that!"
Lisa's gaze was disdainful as she looked directly into Frank's eyes, "This is modern society. I don't accept arranged marriages. Even if you have the Starship Group's Supreme Black Gold Card, without your teacher Mr. Carter, you're just trash."
Lisa lifted her chin, "My husband must be a strong man who reached the top through his own abilities, not some waste who goes around showing off with his teacher's money and bank card."
Everyone waited for Frank's reaction. A hint of schadenfreude flashed in Cade's eyes.
Frank looked at Lisa.
He felt no emotional response whatsoever.
He walked to the main platform, pulled out the Supreme Black Gold Card and token, and put them back in his pocket. Then he took out a piece of parchment from his backpack.
"You think I came here today to marry you?" Frank's voice was calm.
Lisa frowned, watching as Frank gripped both edges of the marriage agreement and tore it directly in half.
"You..." Lisa's expression turned ugly. She had never imagined she would be publicly rejected.
"This marriage agreement is void." Frank turned around, his back to Lisa.
"You're right. You're not worthy." He walked toward the door.
