Albert Arthur’s expression froze, his face showing extreme complexity.

Jeremy Arthur couldn’t hold back any longer. He immediately interjected, “Look, you need to stop going too far. Since you’ve proven your innocence, isn’t that enough? What more do you want?”

Hearing this, Simone Milton couldn’t help but laugh. She sized Jeremy Arthur up and down, as if looking at something truly novel.

“That’s truly strange! You’ve wronged me. Not only do you refuse to apologize, but you also have the nerve to ask what I want to do? I’d rather ask you: what do you want to do?” said Simone Milton.

“You!” When Jeremy Arthur heard Simone Milton say that, he became furious. If Alberta Arthur hadn’t acted quickly to stop her, who knows what trouble she might have caused by rushing forward!

“Never mind, Miss Milton. Why be so aggressive? If you really want that apology, then I’ll apologize to you on Jeremy’s behalf. Is that acceptable?” Katie Adams stepped forward once again, acting as the good Samaritan, trying to resolve the conflict.

“I’m damn…” Simone Milton almost swore when she heard Alberta Arthur say that.
