Chapter 11
Adrian pummeled Susan or Shelly or was it Sophie hard from behind. Her loud bogus moans were unnecessary and it irritated him. He couldn't wait to get it over with.
A release was all he needed.
He grabbed her hips tighter and pounded faster. He hoped the condom wouldn't burst due to the force he was using.
Eventuality came, and he rolled over to the side of the bed. He removed the rubber on him and cleaned up.
The lady whose name started with an S tried to cuddle up next to him, but he brushed her off. She was introduced to him at a fundraiser event which took place in the lobby of a hotel outside town. She ended up in his penthouse an hour later.
She was just a mindless coition.
Miss S offered to dispose of his protection and he gave her a stink eye.
She got dressed and left him alone. Who gets in a mood after sex, she thought and left the room.
He leaned over to the bedside table and poured himself a drink. He took a large gulp and leaned back into the bed.
Sharon.
She came to his mind again for the umpteenth time that day. His eyes had sought for her in the gathering downstairs, even though he knew she wasn't there.
He needed to find a way to get her out of his mind. Hence, Miss S.
Her scent lingered still in his breath as her thoughts on his mind.
Deep within his heart, his yearning for her grew, and he was desperate to have her. What he couldn't understand was why she had such an effect on him. She was just an ordinary, beautiful, soft, vulnerable, enchanting…
Stop.
Don't stop.
She was glued to his thoughts and there was nothing he could do about it.
As he reflected on her, a wave of unfamiliar emotions engulfed him, setting his heart ablaze with a fiery passion he had never quite experienced before.
The touch of her hand ignited sparks, and the softness of her voice became a melody he craved to hear again and again.
He closed his eyes briefly, and he could swear that he heard her cum moans from that night.
His hand nervously ran through his hair, the strands becoming a chaotic mess between his fingers. With furrowed brows and a puzzled expression, he tried to make sense of the swirling thoughts in his mind, but the more he grasped for clarity, the more tangled his emotions seemed to become. The gesture of his hand on his head mirrored the inner turmoil he felt.
He needed just her.
He wanted her to truly want him with clarity of mind.
He would do anything to make her melt under his touch and moan out his name.
A woman named Sharon, divorced from a man named Bob, was not too hard for him to find.
If she lived among the Shona of Zimbabwe, he would find her.
He knew where she lived, her livelihood, what she looked like on a normal day…
He even knew what she had for lunch with her neighbor on Tuesday afternoon at the mall.
He will see her soon.
It was just a matter of time.
Adrian went straight to his parents' house when he got back to town. His mother, was the only reason he went.
The magnificent six-bedroom house stood nestled within the embrace of a secure and luxurious gated community.
The house was a sight to behold, a masterpiece of architectural design. Its majestic facade was adorned with stately columns that reached towards the sky, The walls, painted in a soothing cream hue, were accented with intricate moldings that added a touch of sophistication.
A cobblestone driveway led up to the house, the sound of water gently trickling from a charming fountain at the center, completing the enchanting scene.
A wrought iron gate, standing tall and proud, guarded the entrance to the gated community, ensuring the residents' privacy and security. Beyond the gate, a winding tree-lined avenue led to this beautiful mansion, secluded from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.
Stepping into the house was like entering a realm of refined luxury. The walls were adorned with timeless artworks and ornate mirrors, reflecting the abundant natural light that streamed in through large windows.
The elegant living room was spacious and featured plush velvet sofas, a grand fireplace, and towering bookshelves filled with leather-bound tomes.
His mother had moved from the master bedroom upstairs which she shared with her husband to one of the rooms downstairs.
There, she will be eased of the stress of climbing stairs to her room, because her health had left her.
It was just a matter of months.
Cervical cancer won.
As much as she fought, as much money was spent, even on private research, it was a lost battle.
There was always a nurse with her.
"My baby's here!" his mother exclaimed as soon as she saw him, her smile lightening up the room.
