Aris kicked him again, his voice icy:

"You are threatening my boss. I'm calling the police."

Vincent coughed in pain. Dust and tears smeared his face. He looked pathetic beyond words.

I said coldly, "Whoever I am with has nothing to do with you. Forgive you? Not unless you die."
