Chapter 5. Meeting Again
"Auntie, I want to stay here with him." Sienna's voice was very low and her eyes were so dull that it made people's heart ache. "If we are all gone, he will be lonely."
After saying this, Sienna silently hugged her knees and sat in front of the tombstone. She quietly cried.
Leon's parents sighed and left.
Sienna just sat there, not moving at all.
The next morning, the workers at the cemetery found Sienna, who had been sitting in the cemetery for a whole day and night, had passed out.
When Sienna woke up again, it was already afternoon.
She opened her eyes and found herself in the hospital.
Wasn't she in the cemetery? Why did she appear in the hospital?
As expected, she was still unable to hold on. Had she fainted?
She was indeed still very useless.
Two lines of clear tears gently slid down from her eyes, instantly seeping into her temple and disappearing.
The nurse saw that Sienna had woken up and came over to check her body temperature. She said with satisfaction, "You have been unconscious for three days and your body temperature has dropped. Fortunately, you were sent over in time. Otherwise, even heavens could not save her."
Sienna did not say anything. She just looked at the ceiling above her head in a daze.
The nurse took another look at her when she was adjusting the IV drip. It was said that she was sent over from the cemetery. Was she so sad because her family had passed away?
"Thank you. Please help me with the discharge procedure." Sienna pursed her lips. Her lips were dry and pale. Saying a single word would cause pain.
The nurse was stunned. "But you haven't fully recovered yet."
"It doesn't matter. I don't have enough money." Sienna said with a trembling voice.
The nurse looked at Sienna for a while and then turned around to help her get out of the hospital.
Sienna took out all the money she had and paid for it. The rest of the money was only enough for the journey home.
Sienna bought the cheapest train ticket and leaned against the corridor of the carriage. Finally, she returned to her hometown.
The exit entrance was bustling with people. Sienna left the noise behind and stumbled forward.
Her whole body was boiling hot. It seemed that she had a fever again.
She smiled bitterly and her vision became blurry again.
Sienna tried her best to distinguish the direction but when she turned around, a familiar feeling of dizziness hit her again.
In the next second, there was a sharp screeching sound of brakes behind her.
Sienna turned around and was about to apologize. Before she could say anything, she fell to the ground.
Before she fell to the ground, she vaguely saw a familiar figure.
Ezekiel stepped on the brakes hard. He did not expect to meet that woman here again.
Ezekiel got out of the car. He walked to the front of the car and squatted down to take a look. This woman's face was red. He reached out and touched her. Her body was as hot as charcoal.
Was this woman crazy?
She was running around with a high fever.
Ezekiel frowned immediately.
He looked up and saw that there were people surrounding him. Some of them were holding their phones in surprise and wanted to secretly take pictures. There was a trace of displeasure in his eyes.
Ezekiel immediately picked Sienna up and placed her on the passenger seat. He fastened his seatbelt and coldly swept his gaze over the people who had secretly taken photos.
The hands of the people who were taking photos couldn't help shaking. They quickly put down their phones.
What a scary man.
Ezekiel immediately drove the car away and headed straight back to Goldlace Manor.
When Ezekiel was on the road, he had already informed his family doctor.
By the time he arrived, Reynolds family doctor was already waiting for him with the nurse.
When the doctor saw Ezekiel walking over with a woman in his arms, the doctor and the nurse immediately went forward and said, "Mr. Reynolds, leave her to us."
Ezekiel hesitated for a moment and said, "Forget it, I'll send her in."
After they entered the room, the doctor quickly gave Sienna an IV according to Sienna's medical case.
"Mr. Reynolds, she just had a cold and a high fever. As long as she has a good rest, her fever will be gone." The doctor reported to Ezekiel, "Do you need a nurse?"
"No need," Ezekiel nodded politely and said, "Sorry to trouble you."
The doctor nodded. He left after leaving enough medicine.
Ezekiel looked at Sienna who was in a coma. She seemed to have dreamed something. Her eyelashes were covered with tears. She cried like an injured child.
He looked at the crying Sienna and remembered the birthmark in the middle of her collarbone.
Ezekiel could not hold it in for a while. He reached out and gently unbuttoned Sienna's shirt.
He wanted to touch the flaming birthmark when Sienna suddenly grabbed his hand and pressed it against her face.
Ezekiel frowned, but he found that she was still sleeping.
This was just her subconscious action.
Her face was very hot, so hot that Ezekiel also felt that he had become restless.
Her skin was very good. She had never been tortured by cosmetics and maintenance products. Her face was fresh and tender, and it could be blown away by blowing. The good feeling made Ezekiel not want to pull it away from her face.
"Leon." A whisper came out of her mouth.
Ezekiel's fingers froze.
He was angry.
She was calling someone else's name in her sleep?
Ezekiel was stunned. He pulled out his finger and turned to leave.
Sienna, who was sleeping, felt her finger pull away. Her tears became more and more turbulent. Her whispers turned into sobs and she said, "You left just like that. What am I going to do if you leave me alone?"
Ezekiel's back stiffened. He could not help but turn back to look at Sienna who was crying like a child in her sleep. He sighed and left.
Sienna opened her eyes again. She found herself in another place.
These few days, she had been in a trance. Every time she came back to her senses, she seemed to have gone to different places.
Sienna turned her head to look at the drip on her arm. She sat up straight and pulled out the needle. She reached out to touch her forehead and found that her fever had subsided.
She could not spend money anymore. She was penniless now.
She staggered and pushed the door open, but she did not know where she was.
In front of her was an extremely exquisite and beautiful villa, a crystal chandelier that cost tens of millions of dollars, beautiful wallpaper, priceless oil paintings, a carpet made purely by hand with a strong visual impact, the Black Swan pattern.
Every detail showed how noble and luxurious master was here.
Sienna immediately panicked. She subconsciously turned around and wanted to escape.
