Chapter 12: Go, Screw Him Up
Though Charles was fuming inside, considering Ethan's status, he could only forcibly suppress his displeasure and politely arrange for someone to take him to a guest room to change clothes.
Meanwhile, Victoria left home in her pink car.
Halfway there, feeling hungry, she remembered she hadn't eaten dinner yet. She parked by the roadside, planning to grab a bite at a nearby restaurant.
Just as she reached the restaurant entrance, a decent-looking but unsteady man suddenly blocked her path.
The man's gaze was frivolous, brazenly roaming over Victoria's attractive curves, a sleazy smile on his lips. "Miss, alone? You look kind of familiar. Haven't we met at some nightclub?"
Victoria frowned and said coldly, "Don't know you."
She tried to step aside and walk past him, but the man persistently reached out to grab her arm, his tone flippant. "Don't rush off! I like you. Name your price—how much for a night with me?"
Victoria forcefully swung his hand away, her eyes cold as knives. "Get out of my way. Take your dirty money and get lost. If you harass me again, I'm calling the police!"
The man was momentarily shocked by her fierce demeanor, and since his body was already hollowed out by alcohol and women, he wasn't prepared and actually staggered back half a step before steadying himself.
Watching Victoria's graceful figure walk into the restaurant, the man put one hand in his pocket and let out a disgusting cold laugh. "Playing hard to get with me? Acting all virtuous? There's no woman in all of Silverstone City I can't sleep with. I'll make you cry and beg me in bed!"
In a sports car not far away, Kyle, who had just finished dinner with friends, happened to witness this scene.
Recalling how William had lost his temper over Victoria at the mall earlier that day, Kyle immediately sensed some juicy gossip.
He pulled out his phone and sent William a voice message:
[William, that lady you stood up for seems to be in trouble.]
[At the Crimson Rose Café entrance, Jerry's got his eye on her. Want to come play the hero?]
On the other end of the phone.
Seeing the name "Jerry," William, who had been lounging lazily against the leather sofa, suddenly sat bolt upright. A terrifying frost instantly formed in his deep eyes.
How could he not know who Jerry was?
That day at the coffee shop, Jerry was supposed to be Victoria's blind date. But she mistook him for someone else, and by some twist of fate, ended up getting a marriage certificate with William instead.
Now Jerry not only had no self-awareness, but dared to set his filthy sights on William's legal wife?
He was asking for death!
After sending the message, Kyle thought William would ignore it as usual. After all, with his proud nature, he would never lift a finger twice for the same woman.
But to his surprise, within five seconds, William's reply came back:
[Stay there and keep watch. I'm on my way.]
Kyle stared at the words on his screen, his jaw nearly dropping.
What the hell! Had William really changed? What was Victoria's deal that she could make William care this much?
Despite his confusion, Kyle didn't dare slack off. He obediently sat in his car, keeping his eyes on Jerry.
Jerry was notorious among the rich kids in Silverstone City for being shameless. Not only did he sleep around, but he especially loved using dirty tricks. At sixteen, he had raped a female student, and the Nelson family had to spend a fortune to cover it up.
Women he set his sights on never had good endings.
Half an hour later, Victoria finished dinner and left the restaurant, heading to the parking lot.
Just as she reached her pink car, Jerry suddenly lunged out from the shadows. Without a word, he grabbed Victoria's arm and roughly dragged her toward his black SUV!
"What are you doing! Let go of me! Help!" Victoria struggled desperately. Her bag fell to the ground, its contents scattering everywhere.
But against an adult man's absolute physical strength, her resistance was futile.
Jerry wore a lecherous grin, his tone utterly vile. "Scream all you want—it just turns me on more! Tonight, I guarantee I'll show you a real thrill!"
Watching from his car, Kyle frantically typed on his phone:
[William! Where are you! Jerry's about to take her by force!]
[If she falls into his hands tonight, she'll wish she were dead!]
