School bully
Chapter one

Anna nudged my back, her knees bumping into the back of my knees. “You'll go!” she snapped. “I need you to sign me in for class today. If you don't, I'll make sure you regret it.”
“What if I get caught?” I asked, tremulous in my voice as I whirled around to face her.
“Who cares?” She yelled, shoving me. “Trust me you don't want me to tell mum about your dirty secret.”
My heart beat faintly as Anna’s dark eyes glowered at me, with a sinister grin dancing at the corner of her lips.
I dragged in a deep breath, swallowing a nonexistent lump down my throat before I trudged forth.
“Go loser!” my sister’s jeer rumbled in my ears but I only gave a faint smile.
No way am I going to get into a fight with her. We both know who will be blamed.
Scanning around the entire classroom I noticed that everywhere was mostly filled up except for a spot beside a dude with blonde hair whose head was lowered to the desk.
As I headed there I noticed a girl sneering at me, “Who goes to school dressed in an oversized pajama in this 21st century? Hmp!” and laughter cackled through the air.
I bit on my lower lip and ignored their taunt.
Gossip doesn't freak me out.
“Don't even dare!” A deep voice rumbled in my ears as I was about to sit beside him, heat emanating from his body.
I stared around, all attention was already fixed on me, their mouth slightly parted.
I stammered. “Don’t even dare what?”
My eyes scanned him properly this time and I could see a tattoo curve along his neck, and a mole on his cheek.
I rolled my eyes and slid into the space beside him. My heart thumped under my chest as I felt the heat from his and the other's gaze.
‘Okay,’ I mumbled under my breath, unable to withstand the hateful glare anymore.
I rose, licking my bottom lip before I yelled into the air. “Why is everyone staring at me?”
I glowered in each of their direction before I settled in my space.
“Because this is the first time someone will ever be sitting beside him. You'd better get out now before you get on his blacklist.” a girl said.
I turned to look at the boy beside me, and my heart froze for a while.
He was a dazzled star. Green appealing pairs of eyes, love-shaped pink lips, a mole on his cheek, thick eyebrows, curly blonde hair, a glinting earring in his ears, and… a violent gleam flickered in his eyes, and I instinctively tensed.
It whispered danger.
An inexplicable dark aura also emitted from him. A small voice in the back of my mind whispered for me to run.
My attention darted towards the class. “But I need a seat. You're not expecting me to sit on the floor while I can sit here, right?”
“Stand up while he's still being nice,” another girl spoke. “He hates girls.”
Before I could react, his hands brushed too close to my thighs. I jolted upright, but he gripped my wrist. “You heard her,” he growled, “Get out of my sight!”
My mouth parted, but before I could speak, a lady walked in, dressed in a sky-blue suit.
Her presence seemed to command attention as everyone faced front, head buried in their desk as they brought out their textbook.
“And you?” a deep voice that doesn't suit her profile resonated in the air. “Why are you standing there looking like Annabelle?”
Laughter crackled in the air at her words and heat blanketed my face.
How could a lady be this sassy?
“Don't you understand me? No one stands in my class.”
“There is no seat ma, he won't let me sit,” I said quietly and a gasp rippled through the air, everyone turned to stare at me as if I had grown four heads.
I noticed the hesitation in the woman’s speech before she snapped. “Find somewhere to sit or you get out of my class!”
So I sat, ignoring the deadly stare from him.
He was quiet, and when I checked him out from the corner of my eyes, I noticed him touching himself.
Our gaze gets honed and I hurried to look at my front, my fingers running through my hair and pulling nonexistent strands behind my ears.
Shit!
This dude is crazy.
“Like I said you'll be having a test this morning.” The teacher said, then clapped her hands. “Bring out your exercise book and open to page seven. I taught you all about journal entries, right?”
“Yes,” their answers came in a muffled tone.
Oh, that is her? Professor Becky.
Anna had told me about her. She said Professor Becky is a sassy bitch who doesn't care to teach properly, yet would set her test questions like a PHD exam.
I chuckled, but quickly pursed my lips the moment I realized everyone was looking at me.
“And you? Are you a new student?” she asked, and my heart twitched.
‘Don't shake. Be bold. Just say no.’ a small voice said in the back of my mind.
I gulped and smiled. “No ma.”
Her brows creased, “I've never seen you around in my class.” she waved her hands dismissively. “Whatever. Sit.”
I obliged, picking up my pen and I was about to write when the nigga beside me pulled my book away from me, and slid his towards me.
“Answer it correctly.”
I gritted and glared at him. “I won't.”
But his attention was on Anna’s exercise book.
“You'd better do it, or kiss your book goodbye.” his voice was low and dangerous.
“If you don't give me my book I'm going to tell her you seized my exercise book and were going to coerce me into an examination malpractice.”
“And?” he arched his brows.
I swallowed taking my gaze off him. I don't know, but when I stared at him I always felt some movement in the pit of my tummy.
“And what?” I snapped.
“Will you also tell her about your secret? Or you want me to?”
I flinched and a coy smile tugged at the top of his lips. “Don’t panic!” he slammed Anna’s book on the desk. “If you tell on me, I’ll also tell on you. Now get to business and ensure I scored everything else, the principal might learn of this… impersonation.” he grinned, lowering his head, pretending to be writing while he's doing nothing but playing with his pen.
Seeing that I was defeated. I swallowed every bike that rose to my throat and answered his questions.
“Ten minutes left.” Professor Becky’s voice cut through the air and I slid his books towards him.
He held onto Anna’s book refusing to give me even when Professor Becky announced that it was only eight minutes left for the test to be over.
“Six minutes left.”
My heart shattered. If I ever fail this test, Anna will spill my secret to my mummy and... I wept unable to bear the thoughts of what my mother would do to me.
In a strangled whisper, I said. “What do you think you're doing?” he smirked. “I completed my end of the bargain why won’t you let me write my test?”
“Because a trespasser like you deserves to fail!”
“Four minutes left!” Professor Becky said.
My hands trembled. Four minutes left.
I could barely breathe every second was a scream in my head.
With a grin, he pushed the book towards me.
He picked up his exercise book, perused the content, rose to his feet, and headed to the front to submit.
“Really.” I heard Professor Becky's voice. “Someone tells me I’m dreaming. Is this him? Class, is this the real Ryan?”
I didn't even look up to watch anything. The time was against me. If I ever fail this test.
Hell is sure an understatement for the treatment I’d be getting in the next week to come.
“Time up!”
No!
Oh no!
I rose walking to the front, but still writing the answers in the booklet. I flinched when someone grabbed my book. I looked to see him scanning through my work and he gave me a cocky smirk.
He submitted on my behalf.
Even when I’m still answering?
I shot him a deadly glare and he smiled. “My pleasure.”
Stepping out of the classroom, Anna was the first to drag my hands as she trudged towards a corner.
“You answered all the questions correctly, right?”
I nodded weakly, my fingers still trembling.
“Good,” her lips curved into a smirk. “Because you're going back there tomorrow.”
My heart sank.
And when I turned, Ryan was standing by the door, watching us.
Was it possible he could've eavesdropped?
