Two weeks later, the rain was coming down in sheets across the Cotswolds. 

It was the anniversary of my mother’s death. 

Sebastian’s black SUV rolled to a stop outside the cemetery gates. The second my driver opened the door, a figure lunged out from behind the stone pillars.
