The howling wind swept through the fallen leaves, while thunder rumbled deafeningly. Lightning bolts split the pitch-black sky, casting Leo Harrison’s face into flickering shadows, making it appear especially grotesque. He laughed loudly, his voice harsh against the backdrop of wind and thunder: “The storm is coming! Ethan Moore, today is the day of your death!”

As soon as he finished speaking, Leo Harrison swung his arms violently and shouted loudly, “Wind and clouds converge, thunder rumbles! Let wind and thunder unite—and transform!”

In an instant, a pitch-black beam erupted from his body and took shape above his head—a massive skeleton, several feet tall. It emitted a terrifyingly sinister aura. The armor plating on its body was clearly visible, emitting a cold glint. In its hand was a pitch-black scythe, whose razor-sharp tip gleamed with a deadly light.

“Kill!” Leo Harrison shouted loudly. The skeleton swung its scythe with destructive force, aiming straight at Ethan Moore. The scythe sliced through the air, producing a harsh whistling sound.

Ethan Moore felt a chill run through his body. He instantly sensed a deadly danger and couldn’t afford to be careless. He immediately activated the Moore family’s secret technique, transforming into a blur as he dodged to the side. But the skeleton was too fast. He was too slow by one step. The sleeve on his shoulder was slashed by the scythe, leaving a deep wound. Blood gushed out, staining his clothes red.

The intense pain caused Ethan Moore’s expression to change dramatically. A drop of blood appeared on his fingertips. He quickly formed seals with his hands and recited incantations related to yin and yang. In an instant, the talismans in his hands transformed into a giant snake five or six meters long. The snake was completely black, with scales that glowed with a cold light. Its mouth revealed rows of deadly fangs, which emitted a poisonous glow. Under Ethan’s control, the snake writhed forward and lunged at Leo Harrison.

“Die!” Ethan Moore shouted angrily. The giant snake accelerated dramatically, reaching Leo Harrison in an instant. It bit him in the chest, then its entire body slipped inside Leo Harrison’s body.

“Ah—!”

Leo Harrison let out a shrill scream. He collapsed to the ground, his face as pale as paper. Veins on his forehead bulged, and his body convulsed uncontrollably. A black mist seeped from his mouth, instantly enveloping his entire body. His body continued to spasm, and black smoke billowed from him. He appeared to be in extreme pain.

Ethan Moore stared at Leo Harrison, who was collapsed on the ground. A cruel smile appeared on his face as he felt triumphant. “Leo Harrison, you wretched piece of trash dare to oppose me? You’re simply asking for death! Today, I’ll send you to the afterlife!”

He reached out his hand, ready to strike Leo Harrison on the head and end his life once and for all. But just then, something unexpected happened!

“Roar—!”

A thunderous roar echoed through the heavens and earth. A dark figure suddenly appeared beside Ethan Moore. A fierce demonic aura burst forth instantly. Ethan Moore felt as though his entire body had frozen, unable to move. That icy, bone-chilling aura filled him with utter fear.

Ethan Moore’s pupils constricted sharply as he turned his head with difficulty. What greeted his eyes was a monstrously shaped creature—it resembled a mirror in appearance, with pitch-black mist emanating from its body. Its red-glowing eyes stared fixedly at him. It was none other than the Mirror Monster raised by Leo Harrison!

The mirror demon opened its mouth wide and spat out clouds of black mist at Ethan Moore. The black mist grew larger and denser by the moment. In the blink of an eye, it completely enveloped Ethan Moore. Inside the black mist, countless skull heads floated around. These skull heads emitted a red glow, were covered with eerie runes, and radiated a strong sense of evilness.

Ethan Moore was horrified. He desperately tried to beat the black fog with his hands, trying to break free from its grasp. But the black fog was as hard as iron. No matter how hard he tried, it was useless. The black fog continued to shrink, pressing against his body. Severe pain spread throughout his body, as if his bones were about to be crushed.

“Boom!”

Inside the black fog, a loud explosion suddenly occurred. Ethan Moore felt as though his head had been struck by a heavy hammer. The pain was unbearable, but his mind became clear instantly. He understood that he couldn’t just sit there and do nothing. If things continued like this, he would eventually be consumed by the black fog and die a horrible death.

“Ah—!” Ethan Moore let out a furious roar. Using all his strength, he activated the power of the Yin-Yang Pearl within him. Leo Harrison stood by, laughing smugly as he watched Ethan Moore struggle in pain. His eyes were filled with mockery: “Ethan Moore, weren’t you so mighty? What now? You’re scared, aren’t you? I’ll make you suffer every kind of pain imaginable. You’ll wish you were dead!”

“I refuse to accept this!” Ethan Moore roared, his teeth gnashing with anger. “Leo Harrison, you madman! Even if I die, I won’t let you succeed!”

Leo Harrison snorted coldly. He formed seals with his hands again and muttered, “Since you’re so stubborn, let me show you just how powerful I am!”

As soon as the words were spoken, two skeletons identical to Leo Harrison emerged from the dark mist. Standing several meters tall and wielding scythes, they let out thunderous roars filled with endless murderous intent as they charged at Ethan Moore.

At this critical moment of life and death, Ethan Moore hesitated no longer. He bit his index finger and dropped his blood onto the Yin-Yang pearl symbol on his chest. In an instant, a red light burst forth. A tremendous force erupted from his body, instantly breaking free from the constraints of the dark mist.

He clasped his palms together and quickly recited the Yin-Yang incantation in a firm and powerful voice, carrying an undeniable authority: “The Ancient Yin-Yang Life-Death Talisman!”

With Ethan Moore’s shout, he swung his hands violently. Two golden beams shot out from his hands, transforming into two golden spheres in mid-air. Inside these spheres, two talismans rotated continuously, eventually forming two tiny Tai Chi patterns—one yin and one yang. They intertwined with each other, emitting powerful spiritual energy waves.

Leo Harrison stared wide-eyed, unable to believe what he was seeing. His body trembled uncontrollably. “No… that can’t be! How do you know the Ancient Yin-Yang Life and Death Symbol? Only those who possess the Yin-Yang Pearl can use it. You… you really stole the Yin-Yang Pearl!”

He had only been guessing at first. But now, as he watched Ethan Moore use the Yin-Yang Life and Death Talisman, his suspicions were immediately confirmed. Jealousy and anger surged within him, yet his face showed a smug smile. “Good! Very good! Since the Yin-Yang Pearl is indeed with you, things will be much easier now!”

As he spoke, Leo Harrison took a signal gun from his pocket, aimed it at the sky, and pulled the trigger.

“Whoosh—Boom!”

A flare shot straight into the sky, exploding in the night sky with a loud noise. A brilliant spark erupted, illuminating the entire night sky with its dazzling light. Leo Harrison smiled coldly, waved his arm, and the mirror demon surrounding Ethan Moore vanished instantly.

Just as Ethan Moore was about to counterattack, a flurry of footsteps was heard. The clan leaders who had fled earlier returned, surrounding him completely. Each of them had a serious expression on their faces, their eyes filled with both caution and greed.

“Lord Harrison, what’s happened?” Zhao’s family head asked urgently, his gaze resting on Ethan Moore with a hint of confusion.

Leo Harrison pointed at Ethan Moore, his tone icy: “Gentlemen, just now, Ethan Moore used the Ancient Yin-Yang Life-and-Death Talisman to attack me. He’s carrying the Yin-Yang Pearl we’ve been searching for!”

“What? The Taigu Yin-Yang Life-and-Death Talisman?!” The clan leaders were all shocked, their faces filled with horror. “The Yin-Yang Pearl is on him?”

“Not bad!” Leo Harrison nodded, looking at Ethan Moore with a tempting tone in his voice. “Ethan Moore, if you hand over the Yin-Yang Pearl, I’ll spare your life and drop all charges of poisoning us.”

Ethan Moore stared at Leo Harrison’s hypocritical face and suddenly burst into laughter, his voice filled with arrogance and disdain. “Spare my life? Leo Harrison, you’re too naive. The Yin-Yang Pearl has already been integrated into my body. Unless I die, no one else will ever get it!”
