Episode 3: You Are Mine!

Back at the auction…
Time seemed to move painfully slowly.
When Luna looked into this man’s eyes and heard his voice, she suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of fear.
There was something dangerous in his gaze. His calm tone somehow made Luna feel threatened.
For the first time in her life, Luna did not dare hold his blue eyes for long, nor respond to his flat words.
‘I’m scared… Who is this man? Why does he feel so intimidating?’
The thought crossed Luna’s mind as she quickly lowered her head, not daring to meet his gaze again.
The silent atmosphere felt suffocating.
No one could have predicted that Matthias would do something completely beyond everyone’s expectations.
Without hesitation, Matthias contacted Frank and ordered him to release Luna and bring her with him.
Everything happened so quickly that Luna had no idea what would happen to her life next.
But Luna would not give up.
Now she was already aboard Matthias’s yacht.
Frank left Luna sitting in the luxurious cabin with Matthias.
At that moment, Matthias said nothing.
He sat calmly, his eyes fixed on the phone in his hand.
Luna looked at him carefully.
Matthias sat there as if nothing had happened.
‘I have to tell the truth. I can’t stay trapped here. I still need to investigate what happened to Grandma, and I must expose their crimes.’
Luna strengthened her resolve.
Even though she was still afraid, she took a step toward Matthias.
He seemed aware of her intention the moment she stood and approached him.
“Hm?”
Once again, the way he looked at her was sharp enough to freeze her in place.
Luna grew nervous.
But she had already made up her mind.
Clenching her hands tightly, she spoke with a trembling voice.
“I’m sorry, Sir… but I… I was framed.”
“Earlier, I was kidnapped after visiting my family’s graves. I don’t know what happened after that, but when I woke up, I was suddenly at that place.”
“Even now I still don’t understand what happened to me.”
“So please… let me go. I have to go back. There’s something I must do.”
“Please… have mercy on me.”
Luna explained everything.
She made it clear that being at that auction had never been her choice.
She had been kidnapped and set up.
Silence filled the room after she finished speaking.
The only sound left was her heavy breathing.
Matthias still said nothing.
But his eyes grew sharper as he looked at Luna’s beautiful face.
“Sir…?”
Confused by the lack of response, Luna slowly lifted her head and looked at him with pleading, sorrowful eyes.
Her nervousness and fear returned instantly, making her lower her head again as quickly as she could.
At that moment—
Matthias suddenly reached for Luna’s hand and arrogantly pulled her toward him.
“Ah!”
Luna cried out instinctively.
Her eyes widened in shock when she realized she had fallen directly onto Matthias’s lap.
Before she could react, Matthias lifted her chin with his strong, warm hand and forced her to face him.
Their eyes met again.
Luna could feel his breath against her face because the distance between them was far too close.
“I’m curious about something.”
“When I saw you, I felt something strange.”
“It’s like I can’t accept anyone else having you.”
“I don’t know what exactly is happening to me, but…”
“You cannot leave my side until I grow bored and decide to release you.”
“I paid a high price for you. So you don’t have the right to leave.”
Matthias’s voice sounded cold.
Luna felt chills run through her body, and her breath caught in her throat.
Her brows furrowed, and her heart pounded with tension and fear.
There was truly something strange about this man.
Just being near him made Luna feel intimidated.
‘What will happen to me?’
‘Why am I trapped with this terrifying man?’
Luna screamed inside her mind.
After finally leaving prison, who could have imagined that fate would lead her to meet Matthias?
And that her entire life would soon change.

Meanwhile, on Sean’s side…
While Luna was trapped with Matthias Grayson, Sean could not calm his mind.
Thoughts of Luna filled his head.
He and his wife were lying on the bed.
After their date earlier, they had returned home and gone straight to rest.
Diana was hugging him tightly and seemed fast asleep.
But Sean lay there with his eyes wide open, staring at the ceiling.
“She became so beautiful… Was she always that beautiful?”
“How could she become so stunning after leaving prison?”
“I almost regret leaving her for Diana.”
“Where is she now?”
“Is she okay…?”
“Maybe I should go look for her tomorrow.”
Sean could not calm down at all.
His face was flushed, his heart beating fast.
Luna was simply too beautiful.
He could not forget her.
Sean suddenly lost interest in his own wife.
He wanted to find Luna and figure out a way to be with her again.
Sean was certain that Luna still loved him and would be willing to return to him.

Meanwhile, on Luna’s side…
After hearing Matthias’s words, Luna knew that this man would not let her go easily.
With trembling, cold hands, Luna tried to pull away from Matthias and stand up so she would no longer be sitting on his lap.
Matthias did nothing to stop her.
He simply let her go.
“Heh. You look like a rabbit about to be eaten by a predator.”
“Relax. I won’t do anything bad as long as you obey.”
“But if you dare to defy or betray me…”
Matthias picked up his phone again, continuing to handle some work while speaking calmly.
“…then you should probably be careful.”
“Because I could erase you easily.”
“You already know someone like me can do whatever he wants.”
His voice sounded almost like a whisper, but it only made Luna shiver more.
Luna, now standing, swallowed hard.
Her eyes widened as she froze from the threat in his words.
‘What the hell… That’s terrifying.’
‘Who exactly is this man?’
‘He looks calm… but somehow that’s the most frightening thing about him.’
‘Like a calm sea that hides a deep, dark abyss.’
‘Oh God… I’m so scared.’
Luna quickly moved away and sat as far as possible from Matthias.
She turned her head and stared at the moon through the yacht’s glass window.
‘I’m scared… How did I end up here?’
‘Hic… Am I going to die meaninglessly at this man’s hands?’
‘Why does my life feel like a roller coaster?!’
Luna screamed inside her heart.
Her body still trembled with fear.
At the same time, she could do nothing.
It felt as though she had been chained.
Her freedom had been bought by that handsome yet terrifying man.

Some time later…
Because of fear and exhaustion—and the hunger gnawing at her stomach—Luna eventually fell asleep.
They had already arrived at Matthias Grayson’s grand residence.
Matthias quickly ordered the head servant to bring Luna to one of the rooms inside the mansion.
As for Matthias, he headed straight to his study.
He still had some work to finish before resting.
Frank followed him inside.
Earlier, Matthias had ordered Frank to investigate Luna’s background.
“She’s a former prisoner, Sir. Are you sure you want to keep her by your side?”
Frank sounded worried.
He had already obtained Luna Sharon’s entire background report in a remarkably short time.
Matthias remained unmoved.
He read the file on his desk before a faint smirk appeared on his lips.
“A former prisoner, huh? Hmm…”
“It seems fate has given me someone perfect.”
“The worse her background is, the more I want her by my side.”
“I can already imagine the look on my father’s face when I bring her home.”
“How embarrassed he’ll be… and how shattered his expectations will become.”
“Frank.”
Matthias set the file down.
Then he sat upright, his chin raised slightly. His sharp blue eyes made the room feel colder.
“Yes, Sir?”
Frank still didn’t understand what his master was planning.
But of course, he could never refuse Matthias’s orders.
“Prepare the marriage documents.”
“I will reject the arranged marriage my father planned by marrying her.”
“I will marry her to humiliate my father… and that woman.” Matthias’s command was firm.
A calculated plan had already formed in his mind.
And Luna would become the tool he used to humiliate his father—and the woman chosen to be his bride.
