Luna’s stomach growled loudly.
Luna stretched on the soft, warm bed. Hunger woke her quickly.
“Ah, I’m so hungry!” she complained softly before sitting up and stretching her body.
“I wonder what Aunt Jil cooked today?” Luna thought she had returned home and wanted to eat Aunt Jil’s cooking right away.
But when she opened her eyes and paused for a moment to gather her senses, her eyes widened as she looked around the room.
“Oh my God! I was kicked out of my house!”
“And… and I’m with that terrifying man. Did I …” Luna quickly pulled the blanket away and checked her clothes. They were still neat.
That meant the frightening man had not done anything bad to her while she was asleep.
“Hah… thank goodness! No matter what happens, I have to protect my purity!” Luna clenched her fists. At that moment, her stomach growled again.
“Ah, I’m starving! I want to figure out a way to escape, but how can I run away when I’m this hungry?”
“There’s no way I’m asking him for food. Ugh, my stomach… it wouldn’t be funny if I survived prison only to die of hunger, right?” Luna held her stomach.
She was too hungry, and right now she couldn’t even plan her escape.
Knock… knock…
“Miss, Sir asks that you come downstairs to see him.” A servant’s voice came from outside the door.
Luna was startled and instantly stood up straight, she swallowed hard and clenched her fists tightly.
“Si… Sir? Does he mean that terrifying man?”
“Why does he want to see me? Ahhh… I’m already half-dead with fear before even meeting him.” Luna felt nervous just hearing that the man wanted to see her.
But she had no choice, she had to survive and take revenge on the people who framed her, so Luna had no option but to obey for now.
Her steps felt weak, she was extremely hungry.
The house was enormous and magnificent, almost like a castle. Servants were everywhere, whispering when they saw Luna walking past them.
But Luna had no time to care about that, the only thing she could focus on now was her growling stomach.
After walking for a while, they finally arrived at a magnificent dining room.
From there, a vast garden could be seen through the large windows at the far end.
“Sir…”
The servant who had been sent to call Luna lowered his head and quietly stepped aside to stand with the other servants.
He left Luna standing there with her head lowered in front of Matthias, who was already dressed neatly in a suit and looked ready to leave for his company.
“I don’t want to waste time talking. I’m very busy and need to leave for my company soon.”
“The reason I asked you to come here is to warn you. Don’t even think about escaping or running away, because I will find you easily.”
“If you dare disobey my orders, I will truly erase you.” Matthias spoke firmly.
He placed several documents on the dining table and then stood up.
The moment he stood, Luna instinctively flinched in shock and stepped back several steps.
Matthias frowned when he saw Luna’s reaction.
Her behavior didn’t seem fake at all, she clearly did not want to be anywhere near him.
But Matthias had no interest in thinking about trivial matters like that, he was about to leave, but before he did, he said a few more things.
“Eat and sign the documents on that table.”
“Remember this... You cannot refuse, and you must sign them.”
“Tonight, I’ve already ordered people to prepare you to meet my father.”
After saying that, Matthias simply walked away.
He left Luna standing there frozen, holding her breath the entire time.
“Hah!”
Once Matthias left, Luna finally breathed in relief, but there was something that confused her.
Why did she have to meet Matthias’s father?
And what were those documents she had to sign?
All that confusion quickly disappeared when Luna saw the delicious food on the table.
“AH! ALL OF THIS IS MAKING MY HEAD SPIN AND MAKING ME EVEN HUNGRIER!”
“First things first—eat! Hmm!” Luna ignored all the questions in her mind and immediately sat down at the dining table.
She began eating quickly and eagerly.

“Nom… nom… nom!”
Luna ate enthusiastically, her cheeks puffing as she chewed.
The food prepared by the chef in Matthias’s house was incredibly delicious, and it instantly improved her mood.
After eating until she was full, Luna let out a long sigh and held her stomach.
“Finally, I’m full. Who would have thought I’d get to eat something this delicious in a stranger’s house?”
“Hmmm… earlier he said I had to sign some documents, right? What kind of documents are these?” Luna reached for the file on the table.
Her expression immediately changed when she read what was inside... “WHAT?!”
“WHAT IS THIS?!” Luna shouted.
The contents of the document she was supposed to sign were outrageous and completely shocking.
“Why is my life like this? Why are there always shocking surprises waiting for me?”
“At this rate I might die young!” Luna complained angrily to herself.
She didn’t know what else she could do, the document was a marriage agreement.
Yes... Shockingly, Luna—who had just been released from prison—was about to be married to a stranger she didn’t even know.
And the worst part was that she seemed to have no chance to refuse, but Luna also could not bring herself to sign it.
Marriage was one of the most important decisions in a woman’s life, she could not just marry someone carelessly. It would ruin her future.
“I can’t do this! I have to talk to him again.”
“How can he suddenly decide on marriage like this? I can’t accept it!” Luna still believed she could talk to him.
She didn’t know Matthias at all, especially not his personality.
Matthias was not the kind of man who would change his decisions simply because someone asked him to, and of course, Luna’s effort would only end in failure.

Meanwhile, on Matthias’s side…
He sat inside the car, busy handling several matters on his iPad, but suddenly his hand stopped.
A faint smile appeared on his lips.
“So beautiful…” he whispered softly, remembering the sight of Luna earlier.
Matthias had to admit it.
The woman he found last night was truly beautiful and somehow, his life might become more interesting if that woman stayed by his side.

“Darling, don’t forget to call me during your break, okay? I love you.” Diana adjusted her husband’s tie as he prepared to leave for work.
Diana loved Sean deeply and would do anything for him.
“Alright, darling. I’m leaving now.” Sean replied before heading out with the driver waiting for him.
Sean worked as a manager in a prestigious company... A powerful corporation that made him proud whenever he talked about it in front of his friends.

Sean worked at Grayson Company, the company owned by Matthias Grayson.
While sitting inside the car, Sean immediately called someone, he wanted to find Luna’s whereabouts as quickly as possible.
Sean had no idea that the woman he was searching for was already inside his boss’s house.
