Chapter 6 Zara’s POV
Zara's POV
The next morning, a messenger approached my room in the servant quarters.
I frowned and turned to Ivy who was still recovering from her injuries. “Are you expecting anyone?” I asked.
She shook her head painfully. “No, I'm not.”
I stood up and walked to the door then opened it. Outside was a scrawny looking boy from Bloodmoon pack.
He handed me a letter without saying a word. I looked at him suspiciously for a minute before taking the letter.
I read it with a frown;
You have been moved to the elite dorm. This move is effective immediately.
The letter carried information of the new room I was to move to along with the stamp of the Academy authority.
“Hell no.” I snapped. “I'm not moving anywhere.”
The twins appeared directly behind the messenger.
“Oh yes, you are.” They said at the same time.
I looked up, surprised to find them standing in front of me because I didn't know when they came in.
“So you're behind this?”
“Oh yes we are.” Dante answered with a smirk. “We told you that we own this school, didn't we?”
I rolled my eyes. I already know that. But stubbornness refused to let me give into the whims of two little boys who suddenly took interest in me after seeing just a tip of my powers.
“Back off. I'm okay where I am.” I said and returned back to my sister's side, helping her nurse her wounds.
Cassian clapped his hands and a lot of students strolled into my room like it belonged to them.
“Hey… what are you doing?” I said but they didn't say a word to me.
They just moved like robots that has already been preprogrammed and started lifting up what little things we had and taking them to wherever they'd been asked to.
“I’m okay in my room.” I protested by Cassien only picked me up and threw me on his shoulders while Dante picked up my sister.
For what it's worth, they were very strong for their looks.
I hit his shoulder in protests. “I said leave me alone. I'm fine in the servant quarters.” I whined but they didn't stop.
They just carried me through the line of students who stopped whatever they were doing completely to stare at the twin brothers who ruled the school carrying two injured girls.
My face went red in embarrassment. Why can't this boy respect my opinions?
“Leave me alone. Drop me down I can walk.” I yapped all the way to the elite dorm but I wasn't dropped to the ground until I was inside my new room.
Meanwhile outside, the moment we passed the whispers got wild.
“Wait. Did Cassien just…”
“Oh my God, I cannot believe my eyes.”
“Just wait until Isabelle finds out.”
I rolled my eyes. “You could have just saved us both the embarrassment and stayed away from me.”
Dante shook his head. “We're only helping to enforce the law. We didn't make it.”
Yeah right. I'm quite aware that your word is law in this academy.
Ivy snickered from behind, trying so hard not to burst into laughter and I turned and glared at her. ‘you traitor.’
Dante took one step closer to me and I took a step back. “You know you look cute when fisty.”
I shot him daggers. “Get out of my room.”
Cassien chuckled. “We'll leave you to it then. Get used to royalty and see you in class.”
I raised my chin. See you in class? I wish. I had specifically chosen the less popular classes to take. The ones that involved only the nerdy and unpopular students so there was no way I was seeing him in class.
I watched as they left and collapsed on the big soft mattress when they were gone.
Since I reincarnated in this body I had never felt anything like this. The bed was soft, the room was clean and everything was well arranged and put together like indeed someone important stayed her.
“Ivy how could you betray me like that in the presence of those boys?”
Ivy laughed. “You looked very funny while trying to fight them off.”
I almost hit her playfully but I stopped myself because of her injuries. “You should take my side often from now on.”
She smiled. “Yes sis. Got you.”
My stomach rumbled. I haven't gotten anything solid to it for days. I looked at her.
“Are you hungry?”
Her face changed. Her smile disappeared replaced by a small sad look. “I'm hungry. But I'm already used to hunger by now. And I'm sure you are to.”
I nodded painfully. “I guess.”
But that didn't mean I would stand by and do nothing when I knew that she clearly needed something to eat to regain her strength.
“I'll go get us something to it.” I said and stood up. But a knock on the door stopped me.
I frowned. Who is that again.
I opened the door and a private chef appeared in my doorway with a paper bag.
My eyes widened in shock. “Are you lost?”
“No.” She answered with a wide smile. “The twins sent me.”
Of course they did.
“I'm not hungry.” I said and closed the door to her face but one hand stopped the door from closing completely.
“You are. The growling in your stomach signifies that.”
I sighed and looked at my sister. “Fine. Come in.”
There was a dining table and four chairs in my room. The chef walked over without a word and arranged a full platter of meal on the table with the quiet efficiency of someone who knew what they were doing.
My mouth watered. “All these for us?”
The chef frowned. “Not enough?”
I looked at her like she was being ridiculous. “Don't be ridiculous.” I snapped and helped my sister to the table.
My sister's eyes widened. “Woah… all these for us?”
“You got it.” I smiled and she dug in.
The joy I got from watching my sister eat alone was enough to make me forget that I had those arrogant twins to than for this arrangement.
Then I lifted up a plate and a paper fell off. “Hope you're enjoying your meal?”
My whole body went still. “Can he not do that?”
