Chapter 2 humiliation and suffering

Amelia’s P.O.V. (Continued)

“I, Alpha Bernard Shaw, rejected you, a pathetic omega, Amelia Roberts, as my luna and my mate, and banishes her from the Blood Moon Pack.”

He announced loudly, his voice filled with venom, hatred, and disgust.

My chest almost burst out as soon as the last word escaped from his lips.

I spat a mouthful of blood immediately. Clutching my chest because of the intensity of pain, I fell to the ground, curling up my whole body in a fetus position.

My wolf howled aloud when both the pack bond and the mate bond started breaking up.

“Accept the rejection and your fate as a rogue, Amelia. Don’t let me repeat myself.” He commanded me, using his alpha authority.

Omegas were never meant to be taken care of properly in this pack. So, like others, I was also malnourished and weak.

I was eighteen years old, but I looked not more than sixteen years old because of their treatment of omega maids. We were never given three meals a day.

With the process of my first shift, I was already weak, and now with his rejection and this force of his authority to accept the rejection, I felt like dying because of the pain in every fiber of my body.

My wolf howled in pain and collapsed on the floor because rejection was weakening her more, and her already weak body started convulsing at the back of my mind.

I felt all my internal organs bursting because of the rejection and banishment.

The blood was now dripping out of my mouth, making my already pathetic appearance more pathetic.

He growled, his claws already extended to strike me at any time.

My wolf howled aloud, submitting to him, and the words escaped out of my mouth.

“I, Amelia Roberts, accept your, Alpha Bernard Shaw’s, rejection and banishment from the Blue Moon Pack.”

I coughed blood again after the last word escaped my lips while screaming in pain.

The door of the storeroom opened and closed very silently, but my body was now on fire.

My body wanted to shift, but my wolf was now denying the shift because of the rejection pain.

I could feel her presence slipping away.

I screamed in pain when something like a needle was thrust at the back of my neck.

My wolf howled in pain one more time, and then everything inside me became silent.

I looked up at him through my teary eyes and saw him smiling sinisterly.

“My pack fed you and sheltered you for eighteen years, and you destroyed my chance to find a fated mate. So, now, you will pay the price with your body.” He said to me, and my already shattered heart stopped beating in fear.

A foreboding feeling filled my heart. I was now breathing shallowly.

My wolf was now completely missing, making me feel worse than I had ever felt.

“Take her there and make sure that she won’t escape.” He commanded, moving his back towards me.

They injected me with wolfsbane, stopping the process of shifting, but it also paralyzed my body.

They didn’t show mercy with the amount either.

My blood was now boiling inside my veins, and the explosions in my head were giving me a severe headache. The churning in my lower abdomen was so intense that I vomited blood again and again.

The pain in my chest was making me dizzy because I couldn’t breathe now.

“Clean her up and put her in his room.” My whole body trembled in fear when I heard Beta Aster's voice, filled with anger and venom.

My senses were completely dull by now, and I barely registered my surroundings. All I knew was that they were dragging my body somewhere.

I screamed in pain when Aster suddenly grabbed my hair at the back of my head and pulled it harshly.

“You dare to steal my sister’s chance of being a Luna. I will make you pay for that before throwing you out of the pack, s**t. Wish that you won’t survive the night, wh*re, or else tomorrow will be worse than tonight.” He spat on my face and threw my head harshly.

My head hit the ground, but I didn’t feel the pain.

I couldn’t understand the reason for their hatred towards me.

I didn’t ask the Moon Goddess to make Bernard Shaw my mate.

Heck, I don’t want anyone, not even a regular wolf from this pack, to be my mate, let alone a high ranker.

Like a sack of potatoes, they dragged me harshly onto the floor.

I couldn’t see or hear whatever was going on around me.

My mind was completely blank, and all my senses were completely dead.

They threw me somewhere, and then there was silence around me.

Why did this happen to me?

What did I do wrong?

Gloria said that my parents were killed by rogues in an attack when I was only six months old.

No family in the pack agreed to take me in. So, Luna took me in and assigned me to the kitchen staff to raise me to be a maid in the future.

I never got a penny as wages because the Luna always said that my lodging, food, and clothes covered my wages.

I was never sent to school because being a maid was my destiny, and I believed whatever they said to me.

I never complained about anything, not even to the Moon Goddess whenever I felt wrong, hurt, or sad for any reason.

I felt something cold against my face, which choked me, but my paralyzed body stopped me from showing any protest.

I didn’t know where I was. All I could hear was their sinister laughter, filled with mockery and disgust. They called me names, loathed me for being so weak, and dreamed about something above my station and rank, but this was never my intention.

They kicked me a few times, but no one said where I was.

Then I was left again.

But this silence seemed to me like the calmness before the storm.

And this storm was about to turn my whole life upside down. I felt it in the air around me.

It was suffocating, and I wanted to escape this.

I was desperate, but my body betrayed me.

Suddenly, a rough hand grabbed me by the hair, and before I could even make sense of anything, I was thrown again on my stomach this time.

My face hit the floor again, and I felt something flowing out of my mouth and nose again.

The person still had gripped my hair. I felt cold air brushing against my skin again.

Fear filled my heart when I understood th… that I was now naked.

“You know what? He will pay for this.” A rough voice burst my eardrums, and a very suppressive aura made me breathless.

I screamed at the top of my lungs, but no voice came out of my mouth when something very big, bulky, and hard entered my body through my core, making me faint because of the pain.

And I almost fainted.
