Forgetting her dignity and self-respect Thalina kneeled on the floor and held the hand of the man she devoted three years of her life with.

Tears stream down her face but it doesn't seem to faze his husband who looks determined with the decision he made.

"I will do everything, Magnus. I will consult all the doctors in town and ask for advice to get pregnant. I will do everything Magnus just don't do this to me," she pleaded like a desperate woman refusing to let go of the man she poured all of her love.

Thalina was willing to go lower just to keep Magnus on her side but Magnus looked at her as if he was looking at trash he wanted to get rid of.

He brushed off Thalina's hold making Thalina fall on the floor and her head ended up hitting the door but Magnus did not even regret what he did because for him the woman was nothing but a useless she-wolf he wanted to throw away.

For three years of their marriage, Thalina had been a good wife to him following his every word but Thalina's effort to become a good wife and Luna in Magnus's pack was put to waste because of her incapability to bear a child.

Thalina's misery wasn't enough for Magnus and to make her suffer even more he bent down and held her chin to make her poor wife look at her.

"You will do everything for me Thalina?" he asked looking at Thalina straight in the eyes. A mocking smile grace on his lips while staring at his wife's face stained with dark mascara. "You can't even give me a child. You are a useless she-wolf and I regret marrying you,"

His words felt like a knife cutting deeper and deeper until her heart was cut in half but Magnus' insulting words weren't the end of everything because instead of receiving help from her sister, Selene kicked her making her fall on the floor again.

"Just leave Thalina, seeing you disgusts me," she said before turning her head to Magnus. "Make her leave babe. I feel like I am gonna puke looking at her," she added and acted like she was about to throw up.

Magnus took a deep breath and coldly looked at his wife.

"Guards!" he called and in just a minute two men came running. "I want this woman out of my sight. Make sure she can never set foot on my mansion again," he ordered.

Without any questions asked the guards bowed their heads and held Thalina's arms tightly.

"I am still your mate Magnus! You cannot do this to me! I am still mated to you!" Thalina shouted refusing to be dragged out of the mansion.

Completely losing his patience Magnus held Thalina's face not minding if his claws were already digging in her skin.

"I, Alpha Mangus of Ravenclaw, cut off my bond with you Thalina Serafine. You will no longer be the Luna of my pack and will no longer be recognized as my wife," he ruthlessly uttered not minding if his words felt like a sharp knife cutting Thalina into pieces.

Thalina desperately shook her head while tears pooled in her eyes. "You can't cut off the bond Magnus. Only death can separate us,"

A smile grace on Magnus' lips. He lowered his head to make their faces on the same level.

"Then die, Thalina," he coldly uttered before turning around and letting his guards drag Thalina out of his mansion.

Thalina kept on removing the guards' hold but no matter how hard she tried she was too weak for them.

The moment they reached the mansion's gate they mercilessly threw her on the ground. Her knees ended up bleeding from the impact but none of them dared to help her stand instead they closed the huge gate and she was left sitting on the cold ground with tears streaming down her face and blood dripping on her knees.

Despite the pain, Thalina refuses to leave. Using her remaining strength she walks towards the wall limping. She leaned her back against it and slowly sat on the ground then hugged her knees tight trying to comfort herself hoping that it would suffice the pain but it didn't work.

Filled with exhaustion Thalina closed her eyes but her few hours of sleep were disturbed when she heard voices talking. Upon opening her eyes confusion filled her when the gate's mansion was finally opened and Magnus' pack was getting in.

On normal days pack members can't easily get in but now the gate is widely open and this only happens whenever Magnus holds a celebration. Filled with confusion Thalina stood up and was about to enter the gate but suddenly stopped when three women walking towards the gate caught her attention.

"Have you heard? Tonight under the bloody full moon, Alpha Magnus will ask King Thaddeus' blessing to make Selene his new Luna,"

"So that's the reason why he gathered the pack. I thought it was just a rumor that Thalina will be thrown out,"

"Well, what do you expect? Do you think Alpha Magnus will still keep her when she can't even bear a child? She's a useless Luna. She-wolf like her doesn't deserve to be a Luna. I'm glad Alpha Magnus threw her out,"

"But do you think King Thaddeus will give them his blessing?"

The woman with long blonde hair nodded confidently. "Of course he will. They are step-brothers after all. Besides I'm sure King Thaddeus will understand Alpha Magnus' reason. You can't keep a Luna that can't give you an heir after all,"

They were completely unaware that the woman they were talking about was a few steps away from them and the moment they saw Thalina their eyes widened and immediately looked away. They hurriedly went inside the mansion while Thalina was left outside dumbfounded.

She felt an acid burning her heart as those words repeated inside her head.

Magnus will ask King Thaddeus' blessing to make Selene his new Luna.

How can he decide that easily?

With tears streaming down her face and her heart breaking into pieces she walked towards the gate ready to enter but two guards blocked her way.

"You can't enter Thalina. Alpha Magnus prohibited you from entering the mansion,"

The guard who once respected her no longer treats her the same. She still felt like dreaming wondering if this is her reality. How did her life flip in one day?

"I am still Magnus' wife. I still have the right to enter the mansion. I need to talk to him, please. Let me talk to my husband," she pleaded slowly kneeling on the ground not minding how hard it feels against her skin.

She held the guard's hand while begging not minding if she looked desperate.

"Please let me talk to my husband. I need to talk to him," she continued pleading but instead of showing her mercy the guard brushed off her hold with so much force making her face almost hit the ground.

"You have to leave Thalina before Alpha Magnus sees you. We are sparing your life because you were once our Luna but if you keep on insisting on going inside we have no choice but to kill you-"

"I am still your Luna!" she shouted filled with pain and rage.

Despite her bleeding knees she used all her strength to stand and looked at the guard directly in the eyes.

"I am still your Alpha's wife. I am still above you so tell your Alpha that I want to talk to him or I won't leave,"

Before the guards could even respond the commanding voice made them freeze.

"What's happening here?" the man asked looking at the commotion that was happening in front of his eyes.

The guards abruptly kneeled on the ground bowing their heads while Thalina was filled with confusion. The moment she turned around a man wearing royal clothing welcomed her eyes.

His eyebrows were furrowed and his deep red eyes were like a deep ocean that was drowning to look at. His jaw was sharp as if touching it would end up cutting Thalina's delicate fingers. And his skin was perfectly kissed by the sun making him look more manly.

"It was a pleasure to meet you, King Thaddeus," the guard greeted but the King's eyes weren't on them but on the woman's face stained with tears and looking at him with eyes widening.

"What are you doing here King Thaddeus? Are you here to give them your blessing?" she politely asked after a few seconds of silence.

Pain was evident in her voice but it was gentle sounding like a lullaby in King Thaddeus' ears.

Her face looks like a mess with mascara around her eyes and cheeks. Her lips were dry and chapped. Her hair was messy like she was out from a fight but King Thaddeus sees her in a different light.

Completely hypnotized by the Thalina's beauty King Thaddeus failed to utter a word instead he held her chin to have a good look on her face. As if their distance wasn't enough he moved his face closer almost closing the gap between them.

Her scent infiltrated his nose and he could feel his wolf going crazy. He wanted to claim the woman but instead of giving in to his wolf desire a smile grace on his lips before breaking the deafening silence between them.

"I am here to claim what's mine. I am here to take you...my mate,"
