Chapter 7 CHAPTER 6
After I finished talking to Elsie, I put on some lipstick and a little blush. Then I wore short shorts and a crop top.
“I’m ready.” I left my room and went to the kitchen to get some fruit to bring to Aeros’s room.
I gently knocked on his door. A moment later, he opened it.
I froze because Aeros wasn’t wearing any clothes, and even though his body was covered in bruises, his figure was still beautiful.
“Ma’am Lilith, why are you here?” he asked.
I walked into his room. “I brought some fruit for you.”
“Thank you. You may leave now.”
I stepped closer and looked at him. “Are you avoiding your girlfriend?”
He looked away. “Ma’am Lilith, whatever bad thing you’re planning, please don’t do it.”
“I’m not planning anything bad.” I touched his wounded lips. “I have effective medicine for that.”
I saw Aeros swallow. “T-The doctor already gave me medicine.”
I held his face so our eyes met. My heart was pounding fast.
“I know, but I have another remedy.”
“What is it?”
I stared at his lips, then slowly pressed mine against his. Aeros didn’t pull away, so our lips met. At first, he didn’t respond, but after a few seconds he kissed me back until our kisses became passionate. His hand slipped inside my clothes, and I didn’t stop him. A strange heat spread through me, so I let him. Suddenly, Aeros stopped.
“Ma’am Lilith, please leave while I can still control what I’m feeling.”
I held his cheek. “Just tell me you like me too.”
“M-Ma’am Lilith…”
“I like you, Aeros. Say you like me too.”
He stared at me, then kissed me again.
I won.
I secretly celebrated because, in such a short time, I managed to win Aeros over. We kept kissing until Aeros lifted my top.
“Ma’am Lilith…”
“I love you, Aeros,” I said.
Aeros swallowed. “Is what you’re saying true?”
I nodded. “I love you, and I’m willing to give myself to you.”
I was about to unhook my bra when he stopped me. “Don’t!”
“Huh? Why?”
He took a deep breath and stood up. “Ma’am Lilith, please leave.” He walked toward the bathroom.
“Aeros, don’t you want to?”
“Please leave.” He shut the bathroom door.
I sighed. “You’re the one playing hard to get,” I whispered.
I left his room feeling happy. It was better that nothing happened. I didn’t really want to sleep with him anyway. I only wanted to tempt him to see if he liked me.
“Next time, I need to record everything you say so I have proof.”
I returned to my room and took a bath before doing my assignment.
I expected Aeros wouldn’t drive me to school because of the beating he took yesterday. But when I stepped out of my room, Daddy greeted me.
“Daddy, are you taking me to school?”
“No. Aeros will.”
“Can he still drive?”
“I told him not to, but he insisted. He said he could handle it.”
I smiled. “Goodbye, Dad.”
“Good luck at school.”
Outside, I saw Aeros. He still had bruises on his face, but he managed to smile.
“Good morning, Ma’am Lilith.”
“Good morning.” I got into the car.
He got in and we left. When we were already far from the mansion, I kissed his cheek.
“I love you.”
He didn’t answer, so I put my earpods on. I still didn’t know if he had agreed to be my boyfriend. After a few minutes, we arrived at school.
“Don’t pick me up later,” I said while removing my seatbelt.
“Ma’am Lilith, wait.” He grabbed my hand.
“Why?”
He suddenly pulled me closer and kissed me on the lips.
“Good luck.”
My face turned red and my heart raced. I wasn’t prepared for it.
“T-Thank you.”
I felt dazed as I walked to the classroom. My heart was still pounding.
“Hey, Lilith,” Elsie called.
“Huh?”
“What’s wrong with you?”
“Why?”
“You’ve been touching your lips and staring into space.”
“I’m just thinking about something.”
“What are you thinking about?”
“I want to buy lipstick, but I can’t afford it yet.”
“Your dad still hasn’t returned your ATM and credit cards?”
“He’ll only give them back if I pass the final exams.”
“You need to win our bet so you can buy branded lipstick.”
“If I do, will you give me one million?”
“Yes, but you have to be in a relationship for three months. If not, you return the money.”
“Alright. I accept the bet.”
“You need to show evidence that you’re really a couple.”
I nodded. “Don’t worry. I already gave proof that Aeros and I are together.”
Elsie smiled. “Good.”
I tried to listen to my professor, but I couldn’t stop thinking about Aeros. I was already excited to go home and see him.
“Bye, Elsie.”
I hurried to the parking lot where Aeros was supposed to be waiting.
“Lilith, wait,” Elsie called.
“Why?”
“Why are you in such a hurry?”
“My driver is waiting.”
She smiled mischievously. “You’re really serious about that lipstick.”
I laughed. “For the lipstick and a branded bag.”
She tapped my shoulder. “Good luck.”
“Thank you.”
I smiled when I saw my car, already imagining Aeros kissing me inside.
“I won’t be surprised if he kisses me,” I whispered.
But when I reached the car, the door opened and Mang Oscar, my former driver, stepped out.
“Good afternoon, Ma’am Lilith.”
My smile faded. “Where’s Aeros?”
“I don’t know if he left or went on vacation. I just arrived from the province.”
I nodded and got in.
“Ma’am Lilith, I brought your favorite pili nuts.”
I forced a smile. “Thank you, Mang Oscar.”
“Why didn’t you tell me that Aeros went on vacation?” I asked irritably as I called Daddy.
“Didn’t you say you preferred Mang Oscar as your driver? Why are you looking for Aeros now?” he replied.
I bit my lip. Good thing he wasn’t here, because he would surely notice how my cheeks were burning red.
“I like Mang Oscar, but why was it so sudden? He didn’t even say goodbye to me,” I said firmly.
“I’m Aeros’s boss, so he informed me.”
“Dad, why didn’t you tell me?”
“Lilith, Aeros just went on vacation. He’ll be back. For now, Mang Oscar will be the one to drive you around.”
“Okay, Dad. Take care on your trip,” I said softly before ending the call.
I let out a deep breath and leaned back on my seat.
“So annoying… I won’t be able to start my plan,” I whispered to myself.
It’s not that I dislike Mang Oscar. I just prefer Aeros as my driver, especially since Elsie and I have a bet.
