Chapter 2:Happiness And Mistakes

The three of us change into our wolf forms and growl. They look behind them then the man helps her up handing her a towel, as she wraps around herself he takes a towel and wraps it around himself. To add to our anger he embraces her, kisses her forehead, and pulls her behind him. As we growl again, to the man's surprise she stands in front of as to protect him from us.

"Change back"! she demands.

We change back and our clothes on.

"What is the meaning of this I growl at them"!

"Don't get mad, he's my Mate". She states calmly.

"Hey, why don't we talk like adults here. My name is Kristoff Blystone, I am twenty-five and the future Alpha of the Blue Lake Pack".

"I'm Axel Livingston, these are my brothers Brandon twenty-three, Royce twenty-one, and I'm twenty-five. She is our sister Emerald and is eighteen".

"But you already know her"! Brandon says with an agitated voice".

"Know you want to tell me why the four of you are running"? Kristoff asks.

Axel answers. "We're from The Moonlit Pack and our pack house was attacked last night".

"We think it's to do with Alpha’s son being obsessed with Emerald and wants her for his mate, but obviously he's not". Royce says.

"Obviously"! He growls back at them. "I'll bring you guys back with me, it's a given that since your sister is my mate she will be welcomed into the pack as their future Luna. I do not see any problems with you three being able to join since you are my mate's brothers. Is that all right with you guys"?

"Yes, of course". Axel answered.

"Honey, let's get dressed then we'll go".

"Okay".

Kristoff takes his towel off and holds it in front of while she dresses, when she has done he gets dressed. "Ready? Let us go".

"How far is it to your house"? Brandon asks.

"Not far, we just go back the way she came from".

He takes his mate's hand and starts walking, just before the clearing that Emerald was last night Kristoff takes a left turn, then walks straight for about a mile, until they reached the most beautiful stretch of land that either of has ever seen. They go into the house and just as their walking through the common room to the Alpha's office, a male voice calls out. "Emmi"! All of a sudden she is snatched away from Kristoff's grasp and is being picked up and swung around while being given a small peck on the lips. After her shock and surprise wears off she screams "Derrick"! Just as she is being placed back down they hear a very vicious growl behind them, and she is tugged away from the other guy. "Hey, what's going on"? the guy asks.

"She's my Mate. How do you know each other"?

"She's my best friend". Meanwhile A female in the crowd starts to push her way over and asks "Mate? Who's Mate"?

"Mine"! Kristoff claims.

"You're wrong"! she yells. "I'm your Mate and future Luna"!

"We talked about this Louise, stop spreading these rumors because it'll just get you kicked out or worse killed"! He growls at her baring his fangs. The five of them leave her standing there as they make their way down the hall and to the Alpha's office door. "KNOCK, KNOCK" Kristoff knocks on the door. "Come in". A voice behind the door says., “Kristoff proceeds to open the door and ushers everyone inside and grabs Emerald's hand. He waits for the man behind the desk to look up and once he does he starts talking.

"Dad this is Emerald and her three brothers Axel, Brandon and Royce. Long story short she is my mate, I found her and the boys this morning on my run".

"That's great son I'm happy for you. But are you also introducing me to her brothers"?

Kristoff motions for Axel the oldest out of the four siblings to answer. "Sir if I may"? Axel starts. The Alpha nodded his head to let him know to go ahead. "The four of us are from The Moonlit Pack, last night our pack house in which we live in got attacked by a rival pack called The Darkstone Pack. Our parents told me to take my brothers and sister and run to survive, we are the only surviving members. My brothers and I are sure that the attack has something to do with Alpha’s son's obsession with my sister and wanting to mate her becoming the future Luna of their pack. They also may know our family's secret which I am going to tell you, my family just happen to be the last of the White Royal Wolves". The Alpha sat there for a while with his fingers rubbing his chin, then after he has done his thinking he walks over to the bookcase, pulling out a blue fabric covered book and walks back to his desk flipping through the pages he sits down. They wait for what feels like hours until the Alpha declares. "Found it". As he takes the blue cloth off the book revealing a gorgeous white bond book. He starts to read. "A white royal wolf born on Hallows Eve will receive magical gifts from the moon goddess on midnight of their eighteenth birthday. Has this happened to either one of you"?

They look at each other until Emerald finally speaks. "I was standing on a cliff like clearing last night admiring the beauty of the moon, when all of a sudden a beam comes out of the moon and goes through me sending a power like feeling throughout my body. Today is my birthday and I turned eighteen".

"Ok, well tonight I would like to have an initiation ceremony for the four of you, followed by a party with all the members. This will give a chance to mingle and get to know the rest of the members". "Kristoff, show them to their rooms and I want to see you and Derrick for a meeting".

"Yes, dad". They both chimed.

"If you four will follow me I'll show you to your rooms".

"Sure". They responded. While following Kristoff up the stairs. Once they get to the top of the stairs Kristoff turns to Axel.

"In front is the to my room, that's Derricks and the room next to it is Axel's. When you're done looking at it meet in the hallway in front of my door and I'll take you to Max and Leanna, they can take you shopping for clothes. If my mother isn't busy I'll ask her to take Emerald".

"Sounds like a plan".

"Now down here will be your guys rooms, Brandon yours is on the left and Royce yours is on the right just across from his. I thought that Axel would want to be closer to Emerald and down here you guys will have privacy".

"Yeah you're right, Axel's going to be all father mode since our parents ate now deceased". Stated Brandon with a chuckle.

"Ok when you guys get all settled in front of my room".

"Ok". they say.

"Now to our room". He says while pulling her along by the hand."And here we are". He says opening the door to his room.Emerald walks in her eyes wide in delight.

"Wow, it's breathtaking".
