9. So Beautiful (Cassius POV)

Cassius POV

I watched her, she was flawless. Her skin reminded me of caramel the way it had a light shine on the dark tan color. Not to mention she smelt divine, fuck I hated this. I hated her for clouding my mind. I had even tried to distract myself and for the first time in my life I couldn’t get it up. This she wolf had cock blocked me and she hadn’t even spoken to me.

It was clear she knew she was being watched, but she didn’t know who, or if she did, she thought I was human and didn’t particularly care. Sol was playing too loose with her life. I could have killed her so many times while she had been at school, she would need to learn to take out every threat before they had a chance to do it first.

Was I seriously now considering teaching her to protect herself from strangers who would harm her. Strangers like me, I laughed at myself. She could fight, that is what I was told at least. I was being stupid, wanting to have her learn to protect herself, she knew how, obviously not enough to instigate things. I watched as she drove away. I knew where she was going, I had found her cabin, if you could call it that, it was far to grand like a lodge really.

She would be there no doubt; I waited half an hour before I mounted my motorcycle and went to her lodge. I parked a mile away and walked the rest, remaining hidden by the vegetation of the woods. Upon getting close I heard music blaring. Her cousin clearly was not here, from what I observed his schedule was not the same as hers. I peered into one of the first-floor windows, I knew I needed to remain hidden, but I was curious.

She was dancing? What the fuck? She was dancing and then I noticed the wine bottle in her hand. She was getting drunk in the middle of the day and dancing. My cock twitched watching her hips sway. I heard a noise and ran for cover, what was happening? I peeked out behind my hiding place when I saw an unknown car pulling up, then the front door burst open. “Quienten your home!” Sol exclaimed.

I looked to see Quienten smirking at his cousin. “And you darling are drunk?” She laughed. Darling? My jaw clenched. Wasn’t Quienten her cousin why is he calling her darling? “Bad days call for dancing and wine.” Sol squealed. Quienten chuckled and the car pulled out and drove away, was it an Uber? It had to be they only had one car I had found that out already. “So, what happened?” Quienten asked and Sol responded, “Lawyer called and” The door shut behind them and with the music in the house I couldn’t hear what else she said.

I went back to the window after a few minutes to get a good look and both had their own bottle of wine, and the dancing continued. A moment later the music was turned up even higher and I watched. The kept drinking and dancing for hours, eventually I watched as Sol practically face planted onto one of her couches soon her cousin followed. They had drunk and danced until they literally dropped.

As Quienten fell onto the couch, I had an idea. Maybe I could go in there and investigate. I had not had the opportunity to yet, and here both Sol and her cousin Quienten were plastered face down passed out. I smirked. Yes, this would be the perfect opportunity to look around. I straightened up and walked to the front door. I stood there for five minutes before I checked the front door and found it unlocked.

How could neither of them lock the door? How could they both be so stupid? I crossed the threshold. The now blasting music pierced my ears. What crap taste in music? I thought though secretly I was amused by their choice of 80’s pop. I stood still waiting for either of them to wake up from the sudden intruder in their house. Neither moved. I dared to enter further.

This place was nice; I stood over Sol who was breathing steadily. Her scent of vanilla and citrus making my head felt cloudy, intoxicating really if I had to define the sensation. I wanted to touch her hair just to see if it was as soft as I imagined. My hand reached out of its own accord and then I realized what I was doing and jerked it back. Nope, I refused to bend for my baser feelings and instead backed up and began to look through the lodge.

It was way too big for the two of them. There was four bedrooms and a library as well as office and even a cellar, which I found held lots of booze. Did she or her cousin have a drinking problem? I doubted it, I had only seen her drunk once since I had been watching her. An alcoholic would drink every day, and she didn’t. I went back to the room I knew was hers.

I had been told about the dens and how people felt about them, about the crazy reactions that would occur. But this looked nothing like what I was told. Not to mention if she viewed this as her den she wouldn’t know I was in here I had been protected by my sister and her anti smell thing she did. I looked at the picture of her and her parents, she looked happy in it. Not the look she wore these days. I had been stalking her and not once had I seen her even come close to the excitement and joy she felt in that picture.

I wondered what had made her smile like that? I checked her drawers and when I saw her panties I couldn’t physically restrain my body when they reached in and took hold of the dark red lace panties. I liked how the material felt but what was worse was when I saw her hamper and a bright pink thong was on top. I brought them to my nose. Her scent was overpowering, I knew I was being fucking creepy, but I also couldn’t not do it. I stuffed them into my jeans. She would never get them back.

I continued my stalking around the lounge until I knew the layout perfectly. The music was still blaring. I went back out to where she was passed out and before I could stop myself, like with her panty drawer and hamper, I finally touched her. Her black straight hair was even softer than I imagined. I heard her let out a small moan, fucking hell. My cock strained, I knew I had to get out of here. She had fucking moaned, and my gums ached. They wanted to lock onto her neck and mark her, dam this fucking mate bond. I removed my hand; I needed to leave before I did something stupid.
