Chapter 1 Husband Cheating with My Best Friend?

"I'm pregnant, and the baby is Theodore Baker's."

Chloe Green stroked her belly, looking at Sienna with a challenging gaze.

Sienna Nelson's hand holding the coffee paused for a moment. After a brief silence, she forced out a smile: "Chloe, that's not a funny joke."

Theodore was her husband, the man she'd loved for seven years.

Chloe was the daughter of their family's housekeeper, her childhood best friend.

Chloe had even been her bridesmaid at her wedding.

She couldn't believe that the two people closest to her had betrayed her.

"Sienna, you don't need to look like that. Theo should have been mine in the first place."

"What are you saying?"

"Before you met Theo, we'd already been secretly dating for a year. The Nelson family all knew about it." Chloe's eyes filled with hatred. "If you hadn't stolen him from me and climbed into his bed, I would be Mrs. Baker right now!"

Sienna's fingers trembled slightly.

So her parents had known all along about Chloe and Theodore being together. She was the only one kept in the dark.

Three years ago, she and Theodore both attended a party. They both drank too much and ended up sleeping together in a drunken haze.

The Nelson and Baker families were both prominent figures in high society, and the incident quickly became the talk of the town.

Under pressure, Theodore proposed marriage to her, and she, having secretly loved Theodore for years, agreed without much thought.

"Sienna, since that night, Theo hasn't touched you again, has he?" Chloe looked at her with a smug smile. "He said he doesn't love you at all. Marrying you was just to give both families an explanation."

Sienna felt like her heart had been struck by a blunt object, the pain making it hard to breathe.

"Chloe, you're my best friend. How could you..."

"What best friend? You don't deserve that!" Chloe cut her off. "If you really saw me as a friend, you shouldn't have stolen my man!"

She was bitter. Why should they both be daughters of the Nelson family, yet Sienna could openly appear before everyone as the Nelson family's young lady, while she could only identify herself as the housekeeper's daughter?

Even though their father had always favored her, giving her the same treatment as Sienna, even better than Sienna, Chloe still felt it was unfair.

So everything Sienna had, she wanted to take away.

Seeing Sienna's clueless, confused look made her feel satisfied.

"Sienna, if you know what's good for you, divorce Theo soon. Don't wait until the baby's born and become the laughingstock of high society."

As soon as she finished speaking, a cup of coffee was splashed in her face.

"Sienna! Are you crazy?" Chloe screamed, glaring at Sienna in embarrassment and anger.

Sienna put down the coffee cup with a mocking expression: "Being a mistress and getting pregnant before marriage—you're the one who should become the laughingstock of high society."

"Sienna, you better apologize to me, or when Theo finds out you threw coffee at me, he definitely won't let you off!"

Sienna picked up her bag from her seat and stood up: "Fine, go ahead and tell him. I'd like to see how he won't let me off."

With that, she turned and left.

As soon as she left the café, Sienna felt all the strength drain from her body, slumping weakly against the wall.

Since childhood, whenever Sienna got into trouble and was scolded by her parents, Chloe would be the first to stand up for her.

Sienna's father already disliked her, and her mother, comparing Sienna's troublemaking with Chloe's obedience, gradually favored Chloe and always took her side.

Fortunately, Chloe was good to her, generously sharing the treats their parents gave her with Sienna.

Sienna saw her as her best friend and never blamed her, even though she wasn't loved by her parents.

She couldn't understand how Theodore and Chloe had developed feelings for each other.

Although after marriage, Theodore never touched her and treated her more with politeness than anything else, she had never suspected anything, wholeheartedly devoted to this family, even giving up her opportunity to study abroad.

But now...

The more Sienna thought about it, the more her heart ached.

When Theodore was sleeping with Chloe, did he really not care about her feelings at all?

Sienna didn't know how she got back to the villa.

It wasn't until midnight that Theodore came home.

Sienna heard his footsteps getting closer, then that familiar deep voice: "Why aren't the lights on?"

Sienna slowly looked up at the man standing in the doorway.

Theodore wore a dark gray suit, tall and straight, with deep-set eyes, his whole being radiating an innate sense of distance.

He was New York's youngest CEO, young and accomplished, handsome and charming, the Prince Charming in the hearts of countless wealthy young ladies.

Sienna looked at this face she'd loved for seven years and said softly: "Chloe came to see me today. She said she's pregnant with your child."

The living room instantly fell silent.

Theodore looked at her, his eyes showing no unease or guilt: "So you're here to accuse me?"

Sienna's heart completely shattered, her last bit of hope vanishing.

"Why would you do this to me?"

Theodore's thin lips curved slightly, his expression somewhat mocking: "Sienna, the moment you used dirty tricks to climb into my bed, you should have known this day would come."

Sienna's face turned pale, her tone somewhat agitated: "I told you, what happened that night had nothing to do with me..."

"Stop making excuses!" Theodore's eyes showed disgust. "I checked the surveillance. You deliberately walked into my room that night."

Sienna opened her mouth but found herself unable to speak.

That night, she had also drunk too much and took the room key the waiter had prepared for her, but unknowingly walked into Theodore's room. She had no idea.

No matter how she tried to explain afterward, Theodore refused to believe her.

"Theo..." Sienna's voice trembled slightly. "Even if you resent what happened back then, these three years I've done my best to be your wife. I've given up everything for you..."
