Next Saturday There's No Escape
Nora's POV
The black dress pooled at my feet. Callum's gaze traveled over me with clinical detachment as I stood in my bra and underwear—plain cotton, still stained from earlier.
"Everything off," he said quietly. "Now."
Dr. Yuen and the nurses stood motionless. Reid and the security guards didn't look away.
"Sir, please—" My voice cracked. "Can't they turn around?"
"No. You need to learn your comfort isn't yours to decide anymore. There's nothing on you they haven't seen before. Strip."
My fingers fumbled with the bra clasp, tears blurring my vision as the fabric fell. I tried to cover myself, but Callum pulled my arms down, his grip firm.
"Don't hide from me," he murmured. "You signed the contract, Nora. This body belongs to me now. Every inch."
"The underwear too," he commanded. "Take it off and get on the table."
I slid the last barrier down my legs and climbed onto the examination table, the paper crinkling beneath my bare back. Callum positioned himself at my head, his hand settling possessively on my shoulder.
"Feet in the stirrups, Ms. Ellison," Dr. Yuen said.
I positioned my legs, the cold metal spreading me open under the too-bright lights. I could feel every gaze on my exposed flesh as shame burned through me.
Callum's hand moved to my forehead, stroking my hair even as his other hand pressed my collarbone, holding me down. "Look at me, Nora."
I met his silver eyes as Dr. Yuen's gloved fingers touched me, probing, examining. The speculum was cold, stretching me open.
"Breathe," Callum murmured. "Just breathe."
But I couldn't breathe. I could only lie there, legs spread, body invaded by strangers while Callum held me down with one hand and stroked my hair with the other, as if this violation were care.
Dr. Yuen worked methodically—swabs, pressure, uncomfortable stretching. Callum watched it all, occasionally aMercerg questions in a low voice.
"Everything looks normal," Dr. Yuen murmured. "No abnormalities, no infections."
"Good," Callum said. "Continue."
The examination lasted forever—blood draws, ultrasound, breast exam, all while I lay naked and exposed. When Dr. Yuen finally stepped back, I was shaking so hard the table rattled.
"Full results in forty-eight hours," Dr. Yuen said. "Preliminary bloodwork shows severe malnutrition and dehydration. I recommend immediate IV fluids."
"Prepare the IV," Callum ordered.
A nurse inserted the needle into my vein. Callum draped his jacket over my shoulders—not for modesty, I realized, but because the room was cold and he was protecting his investment.
Twenty minutes later, Dr. Yuen returned with a folder. Callum flipped through it, satisfaction flickering in his eyes.
"Clean," he announced. "No diseases, no pregnancy, no abnormalities. Exactly as expected."
He tossed the jacket at my face. "Get dressed. We're leaving."
When I emerged, Callum was waiting. "From now on, you maintain distance from other men. No unnecessary contact, no lingering conversations. You belong to me, Nora. I won't have you contaminated by another man's scent."
His possessiveness made my Mercer crawl, but I nodded.
"Good girl," he murmured, his hand on my back guiding me out. "Now, let's begin your real education."
The car ride was silent. When we pulled up to The Haven—the Dorianian mansion I'd seen in photographs—my stomach dropped.
"I'm not ready for this," I whispered.
"You don't need to be ready," Callum replied. "You just need to obey."
Inside, the elegant foyer opened to a main hall where thirty people mingled, some in evening wear, others in leather. Soft music played, but the equipment scattered throughout—crosses, benches, suspension frames—told the real story.
Callum guided me to seats near a raised platform. The lights dimmed as a woman was led onto the stage—mid-thirties, beautiful, wearing only a leather harness. A man followed, carrying a bag.
"Good evening," he addressed the crowd. "Tonight I'll demonstrate advanced impact play with my submissive, Serena. Our safe word is 'red.'"
Callum leaned close. "Watch carefully, Nora. This is what you've agreed to."
The scene began slowly—the Dom checking restraints, whispering to Serena. Then he pulled out a flogger, the leather gleaming under lights.
The first strike was gentle. Serena swayed, sighing softly. The Dom continued, building rhythm and intensity, painting red Owens across her back and thighs.
I couldn't look away. Serena's face showed pain and pleasure, surrender and strength. With each strike, she sank deeper, her breathing becoming rhythmic, meditative.
"She's in subspace," Callum murmured. "That altered state where pain transforms. It's what you'll learn."
The Dom switched to a cane. The strikes became sharper. Serena cried out but didn't use her safe word. She arched into the blows, seeking what her mind might reject.
Finally, the Dom gathered Serena in his arms, holding her as she trembled. He stroked her hair, wrapped a blanket around her. The tenderness after such violence was incomprehensible.
The crowd applauded as the couple left. Callum accepted champagne, handing me a glass.
"What did you think?" he asked.
"It looked like torture," I said.
"Yet she chose it. She could have stopped but didn't. Because that wasn't torture, Nora—it was trust. Complete, absolute trust."
He stood. "Come. It's my turn."
My heart stopped. "What?"
"I'm demonstrating. You'll watch from the front row. Part of your education."
He led me to a seat facing the stage, then climbed up himself. A woman appeared—younger, auburn-haired, wearing a collar.
"This is Petra ," Callum announced. "She's trained with me for six months. Tonight, we'll demonstrate sensory deprivation and orgasm control. Our safe word is 'dawn.'"
He began methodically—blindfolding Petra , securing her wrists to a suspension frame, attaching electrodes to her body. His movements were practiced, clinical.
Then he activated the remote. Petra gasped, her body jerking against restraints. Callum watched with focused intensity, adjusting settings, varying intensity, bringing her to climax's edge again and again without release.
Petra begged—sobbing, pleading, her voice breaking on Callum's name. But he was merciless, denying her for what felt like hours until she was incoherent with need.
Finally, he spoke one word: "Come."
Petra shattered, screaming as her body convulsed. Callum caught her, removing blindfold and electrodes with practiced care, holding her through aftershocks.
The crowd applauded, but Callum's attention shifted. He handed Petra to an assistant, stepped to the stage edge, and looked directly at me.
Our eyes met, and I saw something that made my blood freeze.
"Next Saturday night," he said, his voice carrying clearly, "the person on this stage will be you."
The room spun. I couldn't breathe. Couldn't move. Could only stare as Callum descended and walked toward me.
"Seven days, Nora," he murmured, cupping my jaw. "Seven days to prepare. Because when I put you on that stage, everyone here will see exactly what you've become."
He released me and turned to leave, Reid appearing at his side.
"Take her home," Callum instructed. "Make sure she understands—next Saturday, there's no escape."
