Chapter 3 3

Chapter 3

At that moment, Anastasya was unaware that someone so powerful was watching her as she crossed the street toward the hotel in front of her.

“It's strange, my heart is beating so fast!” she whispered softly, trying to calm herself down.

“What surprise has Damian prepared for me?” Anastasya smiled sweetly. With her life being so bleak and miserable, Anastasya was very grateful to have Damian by her side.

With such warm feelings and a beautiful expression, she entered the hotel and headed for the room Damian had mentioned.

When she arrived at the door, Ana stood there for a moment because her heart felt uneasy.

“Huuuuhhhh!” Ana exhaled deeply, then with a smile on her face, she grabbed the doorknob and when she pressed it, the door was indeed unlocked, just as Damian had said in his message.

Therefore, Ana opened the door slowly with the intention of surprising her lover.

But when she opened the door slightly, Ana's eyes widened and her breath caught in her throat. Her face suddenly turned pale when she heard a very familiar voice screaming.

“Aaahhhh!”

“Again, baby, I want more!”

“It feels so good, baby!” Vexia screamed as Damian finished her off on the bed, both of them enjoying themselves with great enthusiasm like someone who was starving.

“Ughhh! Yeah... Honey, you're amazing.” Damian praised Vexia, who was very active and great in bed.

Hearing that, Vexia was very happy. She lay on the bed and saw that the door was slightly open, which meant that Ana had arrived.

Knowing that, Vexia knew she had to do something to make Ana realize that Damian only wanted her, not Ana.

“Babe, what about Ana? Do you still love her? Do you still want her? When I've satisfied you like this?” With heavy breathing, she asked in a loud enough voice so that Ana could hear everything she said.

“Huh?” Damian was silent for a moment, until Vexia hugged him tightly, "No, I don't want Anastasya! She's too naive and innocent, she doesn't know how to please a man like me."

“So, stop talking about her, the night is still long, babe.” Damian replied, not wanting to discuss Anastasya now.

He just wanted to have fun and spend a crazy night with Vexia.

Vexia smiled contentedly, glancing at the closed door, where Ana quickly closed the door and stood frozen in front of it.

“THUMP... THUMP... THUMP!”

The pounding in her chest was very loud. Ana could feel her body stiffen, her hands clenching tightly, and her breath becoming shallow.

'Anastasya, I love you so much, be my girlfriend. You are the only woman for me.'

‘Just trust me, I will definitely protect you and no one will hurt you ever again.’

'I promise I won't leave or betray you. I promise."

Damian's words and promises flashed through Ana's mind like memories. Her gaze was vacant, and the pain in her heart was so intense that her chest felt tight.

Ana walked unconsciously, staring blankly at the floor as she passed by. Without realizing it, she had already reached the outside of the hotel. She was no longer aware that it had started raining, and it seemed to be pouring heavily.

All the memories and moments with Damian hurt her like thousands of swords piercing her heart.

As the rain soaked Ana's body, she stopped walking and lifted her face, staring at the dark, gloomy sky shrouded in fog.

Ana squinted her eyes as the rain hit them.

“Rain? Huh?"

“Just in time, as if the universe is celebrating my pain again.”

“They're all liars! Maybe it's true that I don't deserve to be happy, don't deserve to be loved, I'm not someone who deserves all that.”

“But...”

"My heart hurts so much! This kind of betrayal hurts so much. Why did he say he loved me and then betray me so easily?!"

“WHY?”

“Why am I always left behind? Why?”

“AAAAAAA!”

Ana screamed in front of the deserted hotel, crying as if challenging the rain that was falling harder and harder.

“Why?” she screamed again, then sat down, closed her eyes, and hoped that all of this was just a dream.

But no matter how many times she pinched herself, closed her eyes, and opened them again, everything was still the same. She was still alone in the rain with no one by her side.

She wasn't dreaming, and everything was really happening.

“Dad, Mom...” Her voice grew softer and trembled, “Why didn't you take me with you? Do you also hate me because I bring bad luck? Do you also hate me because i'm a freak?"

“I can't take it anymore, I'm so tired and in pain, can't I just die?” Her voice was soft and full of suffering.

She bowed her head, and the devastation in her heart caused her even greater suffering than before.

Until...

“Are you lost, little girl?” A man's voice sounded in Anastasya's ears, and before Ana looked up, she could feel that the rain was no longer falling on her head.

“Huh?” Ana, who was at the lowest point in her life, slowly looked up and her eyes immediately widened.

A man with sharp blue eyes stared intently at her, the smirk on his face somehow making Ana feel afraid.

The man stood right in front of Anastasya, holding up a black umbrella to protect Ana from the rain.

Ana was silent because of the pressure she felt from this man's gaze, but then she gasped when she heard this stranger ask her again.

“I asked you, are you lost, little girl?” He asked again in the same tone, pressing and full of pressure that Ana did not understand.

“Huh?”

Hearing the question again, Ana immediately came to her senses. She looked around and saw that she was sitting in front of the hotel, which meant she might have been blocking the mysterious man's path.

“Ah...” Ana struggled to get up, her head aching from what she had just experienced.

It was as if she had lost all her strength.

“I'm sorry... I'm sorry, sir, it seems I've been blocking your way...”

Ana tried to stand up straight, even though her body looked very weak and shaky.

Without looking at this man, Ana bowed her head politely and was about to leave his presence.

“Then I...” With heavy breathing and a very dizzy head, Ana was about to walk away, “I'll go first...” She continued...

But after she said that, her vision suddenly went dark and she almost fell.

Luckily, Alexander's strong hands quickly caught Ana and now she fell into his arms.

But because of that, the umbrella she was holding slipped from her hands, causing her to get wet from the rain.

“Hmmm.” Alexander grinned sharply, staring at Ana's pale but extraordinarily beautiful face.

“So beautiful...”

“Too beautiful, it makes me want to play with her!” Alexander whispered sharply, quickly picking Anastasya up in his arms and carrying her to his waiting car.

“Boss...”

Kai, Alexander's henchmen who had been with him in the car, opened the door for his boss.

Earlier, when Alexander saw Ana crossing the street, he had indeed asked to follow Anastasya.

This was the first time such a thing had happened, leaving Kai a bit confused, but he didn't want to ask too many questions for now.

Although it was very surprising that his boss had ended up bringing that strange woman into the car and was now taking her to the house of the powerful man, Alexander De Graham, his boss.

From that moment on, cruel fate had bound the two of them together, and a complicated story awaited them...

To be continued...
