Chapter 5 Chapter 5
I looked at Liak. He seemed even more frightened than before. I approached him and said, even though he probably didn’t understand:
“We have to hide.”
I grabbed his arm and pulled him with me toward a small room I had found behind some fallen lockers at the back of the building. I put him inside and signaled for silence. He nodded. When I turned to leave, he grabbed my arm and looked at me with wide, scared eyes.
“No,” he said, as if begging me not to go. He knew I was his only chance of survival. I just replied:
“I’ll be back.”
I don’t know if he understood, but he slowly let go of my arm.
I went back to where we had been sleeping and messed up the place so it wouldn’t look like anyone had been there recently. I gathered everything, grabbed my backpack, went to the bathroom and put on my pants. I only threw on the top part of my uniform without buttoning it.
When I returned to the observation point, I counted at least five men. I might have a chance against them if I had backup, but alone it would be risky. When I thought about what they would do to Liak if they found him, I abandoned the idea of fighting and headed straight for the hiding spot.
Liak’s expression visibly improved when he saw me arrive. It almost made me smile at the corner of my mouth, but I didn’t let him notice. I pulled more lockers toward us to create an even tighter corner where they wouldn’t find us, making as little noise as possible.
This forced Liak to stand with his back pressed against my chest, and me against the wall. We were tightly packed in with almost no space left. It would be nearly impossible for anyone to search this spot thoroughly.
As time passed, the tension grew. The wait for the enemies, the fact that Liak was so close to me… it felt strange. The way he smelled different from the men I had ever been near before.
Even though I didn’t want to, I remembered how he had watched me in the bathroom earlier. I knew this wasn’t the time to think about that. I pushed the thoughts away and focused on the enemies entering the room where we had been sleeping.
Liak’s body tensed up. I could feel it clearly because he was pressed so tightly against me. It reminded me that his entire body was molded against mine, even if it was just to keep us safe.
The enemy soldiers searched the room, shouting things I could partially understand:
“Check the area!”
“They can’t be far!”
My body stiffened.
Liak shifted against me. I placed my hand firmly on his shoulder and squeezed, hoping he would understand. He stopped moving, but the motion had strangely awakened a part of my body. I really hoped he hadn’t noticed, it would be extremely embarrassing.
A low, hoarse moan escaped him. The sound vibrated through his body and sent a wave of tension straight into mine. I quickly covered his mouth with my hand. He froze for a few seconds.
Liak has a much better expression when he sees me return. It almost makes the corner of my mouth twitch into a smile, but I don’t let him notice. I pull more lockers toward us to create an even tighter hiding spot in the corner, making as little noise as possible.
This forces Liak to stand with his back pressed against my chest and me against the wall. We’re tightly squeezed together with almost no room to move. It’s the perfect spot for them not to find us.
As time drags on, the tension becomes unbearable, the wait for the enemies, Liak being so close to me, the strangeness of the situation. He has a different scent from any man I’ve ever been near. Even though I don’t want to, I remember how he watched me in the bathroom earlier. I know this isn’t the time for those thoughts. I push them away and focus on the enemies entering the room where we had been sleeping.
Liak’s body tenses. I can feel it perfectly because he’s pressed so tightly against me. It reminds me that his entire body is molded to mine, even if it’s only for our survival.
The enemy soldiers search the room, shouting things I can partially understand:
“Check everywhere!”
“They can’t be far!”
My body goes rigid.
Liak shifts against me again. I put my hand on his shoulder and squeeze hard, hoping he understands. He stops, but the movement has already awakened something in my body. I really hope he didn’t notice, it would be incredibly embarrassing.
A low, hoarse moan escapes him. The sound travels through his body and into mine. I quickly cover his mouth with my hand. He freezes for a few seconds.
He moves again. I tilt my head slightly and see his hand pressing slowly over his pants. Fuck. He’s having one of those crises again, just like I saw in the middle of the night. I can’t blame the guy, he’s pumped full of sexual stimulants, but what a fucking terrible time for this to happen.
I slowly pull his hand away from his crotch. It’s either this or we die here. His body convulses slightly against mine. If he keeps this up, they’re going to find us. The enemies are getting closer. Without thinking, I slide my hand inside Liak’s pants.
His body goes completely still. My other hand is still over his mouth for safety, but he doesn’t make a sound , probably shocked at having my hand on his cock like this. He starts moving again, so I begin stroking him slowly. His body gradually softens and relaxes.
I can’t believe I’m jerking off a guy while enemy soldiers are just meters away, searching for us so they can kill me or do something worse.
Liak’s head falls back onto my shoulder as I continue stroking his hard cock. He’s breathing heavily. I keep my hand firmly over his mouth to silence him while staying alert, ready for us to be discovered at any second.
I slowly take his hand and bring it up to his own mouth, leaving it there, then reach down with my free hand to grab my gun, aiming it toward the exit.
