“And this is the Beta’s floor.” Ron said as we followed them up the landing. “At the end is where my parents stay, the main beta suite. My room is here.” He pointed to a door close to the stairs. “I um... made you a key...” He held out a keyring with two keys on it. Orla looked at it questioningly before he continued. “And I um... that other key is for your room.” Orla’s eyes widened. “My room?” “Yeah, I wanted you to not feel pressured, and with your own space you have a quiet safe place to return to if you get overwhelmed....” Ron nearly whispered. After a long moment of silence Orla finally nodded and smiled. “Thank you.” “Oh, but if you ever need me, you can always come to my room.” Ron started rambling. “I mean you know the two rooms are right next to each other and I’ll always be here for you and...” He stopped suddenly as Orla stepped forward and hugged him tightly. I smiled softly and pulled my mate around her waist closer to me. Samantha sighed and leaned back against my chest. I agreed. We watched silently as she took the key and unlocked the door that Ron pointed out. Samantha nodded. Orla looked inside and smiled wide, Ron outdid himself it seems. “Well, you two we are going to look for my folks for a bit.” I started as Ron turned and looked at us. “And my mom let it slip that they are fixing pasta for dinner, so we are definitely staying for that.” “Oh, what kind of pasta?” Samantha lit up as she grabbed my hand and waved bye to the couple. “Please tell me its lasagna!” “My lips are sealed.” I smirk. Growling slightly, I turned around and looked at the remainder of the bitch brigade. But we can’t promise anything, I know she was deeply hurt by your actions.” Samantha said softly. “However, even if she doesn’t forgive you two an apology would help, I’m sure.” I stole a glance at my mate, I wasn’t able to help the shock I felt at her words. “Furthermore, I know her last phone got destroyed some time ago. Could you please write down your phone numbers for me? I’ll personally give them to her.” Samantha nodded. “Oh yes! Thank you!” She said as they left to go get some paper. Samantha linked me. I growled again. She took the slip of paper from Josie and put it carefully in her pocket.
